Just spent two nights here. Lovely site, despite being busy was very quiet at night which makes a very welcome change from other sites I've been to. Toilets old. But always clean with plenty soap, hot water and paper, and at very reasonable price you cant complain after all it is a working farm and a campsite not a hotel. Shower block again clean with plenty hot water. Fish and chips from frydays about one mile away were lovely and it has eat in area for those that want. Nicely placed between Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, 10 minute drive to either promenade so plenty to do and look at around the area. Closest beach just 15 minute walk away, beach is pebbles not sand, you have to drive to get to sandy beaches if that what you want. Chose this site as I wanted somewhere easy to get to from Manchester for a last minute break and will definitely be going back again when I need spur of moment break. Don't have children. Myself but all the ones on site seemed to be having great time running around, looking at the horses and playing with farm dogs.

Having not visited Wales in 20 years (for me) and never for my partner, we chose this site as it looked quite central to all the places we wanted to visit. We also did not read any reviews and went with a totally open mind. We visited a week before the schools break up too.
The no booking required for tents appealed to us as we knew we would be arriving late. We got there at approx 9pm, the reception was still open and staff were welcoming. We were told to just pitch up and check in in the morning.
As regular tenters, the site had just what was needed. Toilets were clean and lit up at night. They also had a ramp up to both, so wheelchair accessible. The showers were communal and a little further to walk, through the farm, but still not a million miles away. I've walked a lot further for toilets and showers in my time. They were clean and the main thing - HOT. There was a chair/stool in each cubicle to put your clothes on although some residence left them in the way of the shower to get wet!
We didn't need electrical hookups but that was available to those that did.
Decor of facilities were basic, but remember you are not in a 5* hotel. They were functional, no cracked tiles etc that I could see. They didn't smell either (not like some of the local public toilets I visited during our stay).
The location of the site was just brilliant. We had a car so never needed to use the bus. Driving, we were 5 minutes from Llandudno, 2 minutes from Rhos on Sea seafront, half an hour from Anglesey and half an hour from Betws-y-coed. We found within a 5 minute drive, a Lidl, an Aldi and just off one of the A55 junctions was a Tesco.
It is a countryside camp, within an active farm with horses and there are fields around with other animals in (as Wales usually is) but our stay was very relaxing and quiet.
The only thing I would recommend was to add on their page that it is cash only (as I hadn't noticed that in a previous review) or to get themselves a chip and pin reader. They are a lot cheaper for businesses to own nowadays.
We will definitely be coming back next year (possibly before).

Site easy to find good access, working farm. Checked in ok - cash only. This weekend (bank holiday) the site was very busy, there was a caravan club rally. We didn't use the facilities, but they looked clean if not a little tired, mixed showers for men and women.
Drainage a bit of an issue, wouldn't visit in very wet weather, we just managed to get off, some others were towed off.
Llandudno a short bus ride away, or you can walk. The bus runs every 10 minutes from the end of the site (£3. 10) rhos on sea a 20 minute walk away.
There is also a very good cycle network which allows good access to Llandudno and colwyn bay.
It's a nice site good value for money, could possibly do with a little investment to tidy things up a little.

We visited the site in mid May for three nights.
We were pitched at the farthest part of the site so the toilet block was a good walk away. The showers were in a block on their own at the entrance, another five minute walk from the toilets.
There were plenty of showers and toilets and all were clean if a bit dated.
The site is in a good location for Llandudno and Bodnant Gardens which we visited.

We were a bit disappointed with this site as it had some good reviews. The showers are quite a way from the camping field and through the farm yard which was covered in horse (?) poo as were the toilets which when it was wet meant you got filthy shoes. The facilities are pretty basic overall.
Also on the first morning although we were pretty much the only people camping in the field the man on the grass cutter made a bee line for us while we were preparing and eating our breakfast outside and drove round and round us in ever decreasing circles. I know they have to cut the grass but he had the whole field to do and could have waited to do our bit till we had finished. The farm yard also has a number of loose dogs, two of which hassled us at our pitch for food on a couple of occasions. As rule two is dogs to be kept on leads (no problem with that) I don't expect to have to shoo the resident dogs out of my awning!
The site is well situated and Rhos is nice with some good cafes and 2 supermarkets and the bus is very handy for both RHos and Llandudno. There is a pub within 10 minutes walk but unfortunately it is not dog friendly and it was too cold to sit outside. Its really a restaurant more than a pub, but looked very popular.

We stayed 4 nights on this site with our 15 month old and absolutely loved it. Yes the kids were slightly feral in the evenings and yes the shower block and toilets could do with a bit of updating but if you want good, honest, old fashioned camping with a friendly bunch of folk this is a site for you.
The facilities are all pretty rustic but the toilets were always clean enough and well stocked with soap etc and the showers were hot on the two occasions we used them. Unisex showers are perfect for us - showering a toddler is a lot easier with two!
There is a very basic playground with a couple of swings and a metal climbing frame which our son loved even though he was too small to use any of it. It was very popular with all ages from toddlers to teens and was occupied most of the day.
The site is in a fantastic location just 15 minutes walk to Rhos on Sea, a beautiful little seaside town with an old fashioned charm. Rhos has a few waterfront cafes (think pie and mash and knickerbocker glory but with modern pricing), a brilliant fish and chip shop, small beach, fab playground with paddling pool, road train and a couple of posher shops selling antiques and gourmet food. Be warned however, if you're planning to over indulge there is the mother of all hills to tackle on the walk back to the campsite. There's also a scenic route to Rhos along a beautiful windswept promenade which takes around 90 minutes. The whole route was deserted when we went. When you've had your fill of Rhos, there's a bus stop at the end of the campsite road which will take you to Llandudno (10 min trip) or in the other direction all the way to Rhyl.
Everyone was so friendly, there are only a few rules and we found it a welcome break from the Stepford Wives atmosphere of more modern sites. Even the weather was kind - the sun shone all week - amazing! £18 a night is quite pricey for a site with only very basic facilities but overall we were very happy and will definitely return next year.

A very pleasant short stay for a first camping trip. We were very comfortable here.
It was very easy to find, following the directions on their website. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and the showers were hot.
Plenty of room and a good family atmosphere - even for those of us without kids (hence Child Friendliness rating N/A)
The campsite is close to local attractions of Llandudno and Conwy - about 10mins drive to each town and clearly signposted.
We didn't use them, but there was a good selection of shops and pubs nearby.

Toilet block and shower block clean site well kept fairly level. Close to Llandudno we cycled there. Staff really helpful. Not the ritz as stated but it is a good site. No games room for kids as some sites have. But the animals were lovely. Staff helped with directions to local points of interest. I would recommend this site to anyone.

On the face of it this site ticked all the boxes for us and the price in low season wasn't too bad. However once checked in its faults soon became obvious. As others have said it really needs a lot of money on it, money which I am sure the owners have taken in fees over the years. Having lived locally in the past to this site I am aware how busy it can be so there should be no excuse they get the custom and hence the money.
The toilets are antiquated, the showers are far to far away from the camping ground, lighting on the site is nowhere near adequate the list goes on.
Its a shame as this could be a really nice site but it would appear the owners are happy to take your money without providing the services other campsites do.

This was my wifes 1st time camping so this was always going to be make or break.
Loved this site! This is a working farm of which the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
I felt as though it had everything that you could need as a tent camper. Ie Large separate field for tents.
Plenty of showers that were large enough to move around in and had hooks to hang your clean clothing on to change into ( the showers were clean with hot water at all times)
Plenty of toilets (clean at all times)
Admittedly the toilet block looked a little tired but it was in perfect
Working order. If I wanted gold taps and marble sinks I would book a hotel.
Rhos sea front is only a short walk away with a mixture of sand or pebble beaches dependant on tide. At the time of our stay it was possible to hire sea kayaks including life vest etc from a company by the harbour. As we were leaving we discovered that there was a local pub serving food close to the site So now were going to have to return to sample their wares !
