Called in for the night after reading you didn't need to book. Staff were fantastic.

The price was very reasonable.

The pitch was really good and flat.

The facilities were perfect for what we needed.

The only confusion we had was the location of the showers but once located we enjoyed a hot shower.

We are definitely coming back on our return in the near future.

Third visit to this site. Never a problem booking a pitch (tent), as you DON`T HAVE TO ! - just turn up.

Friendly welcome, £10 per night -including showers and hot water to the ablution block.

Large flat field which does not get waterlogged after heavy rain.

All day bus service from end of drive - Llandudno to Rhyl & return. Leave the wheels behind and save the driving/parking. Lots to do and see locally.

Lots of horses on this working farm (why are they all named Whinney ? )

Can recommend without reservation.

As you enter the site you drive through the farmyard to the touring areas behind. We had a hardstanding pitch with ehu which was flat and spacious.

Reception was ok and was shown to pitch by one of the ladies though I found one of the younger ladies a little vague. Toilets/showers are basic but clean and functional.

With the bus stop down the road this site is great for visiting Llandudno/Colwyn Bay or beyond leaving your unit behind.

The Queens Head pub 10/15 walk via the rear entrance is a lovely dog friendly village local doing food with some local real ales too. A lot of seasonal pitches on the touring area but there is a separate grass field for campers.

As the area is flat and open should imagine it could be quite windy at times.

I've never been to this site before but I really enjoy the stay, staff are really friendly and helpful,

The site is also a working farm and I found it really interesting, although we don't have children I notice that the kids really loved the farm and the animals, very central to RHOS on sea and only a 10min walk.

It a fantastic spot to explore, really enjoyed the stay

We will be booking again.

We have used this site a number of times, mainly because of it's location.

It is very basic ie the toilet block hasn't been touched for a long long time, but always clean. However we tried to book this September but the prices have gone up from £25 to £30 per night. I appreciate all costs have gone up recently, but I think this is a bit much for what they offer.

We decided stay at another site not so far away £25 per night free WIFI heated and very up to date toilet and shower block.

First time on this site. Very nice area.

Very quiet site even though there is a cc rally in the next field.

Shower and toilet blocks are a bit dated but very clean.

Very helpful reception. We booked for a week but extended to 11 days.

Will be back. Only downside is that you have to pay extra for wi-fi. So often included nowadays.

I must say I felt a bit offput when I arrived, it seemed rather windswept and the facilities looked old.

No-one really told me where everything was - the showers are quite separate from the toilets, and it is a bit of a walk from the camping field.

However I did warm to the place, and the toilets, etc. , are kept nice and clean.

I would potentially return there if going through the area, but not at a busy time of year as I think the facilities could be overwhelmed.

Great site for exploring north Wales, it’s no frills but clean toilets and showers, set on a working farm.

It Had a food van visit over the bank holiday weekend and the ice cream man that came round at night was eagerly awaited by our 8 year old,

Bus stop just outside site which took you in either direction, we walked to colwyn bay and got the bus back, then got the bus to Llandudno. Walk out the back gate and there’s a fantastic pub called the queens head only 10 mins walk and if you walk out the front entrance and walk 10 mins you have hickories smoke house which is brilliant, both places are super dog friendly and we’re enjoyed by our 2 cocker spaniels frequently……

Will visit this site again ☺️
