Loved this site, cant add much to what other people have said. If you like true working farms in good locations this is the place for you, the site is in a lovely spot surrounded by lovely countryside, yes the showers & toilets are old but they work & are spotlessly clean. The owners are friendly, there are not many do's & don'ts its all pretty relaxed. The Queens head pub down a beautiful country lane is lovely if a bit pricey, you do get what you pay for the food is spot on

We will return

Good base to explore and excellent chippy just up the road. The toilets and showers were dated and needed upgrading, shower block quite a walk from pitches but large and plenty of hot water.

The most annoying were the site owners dogs who came to the site every day to use as their toilet which was unpleasant when you had 2 year old children playing in the area. Luckily some campers who owned dogs did clean up after them if they noticed but the owners didn't seem to bother. During our visit there was a rally which meant that the bins were overflowing for at least 5 days and with it being a working farm rats were seen at night.

Friendly family run farm campsite with loads of character from the animals to the family and friends who run the place. We visited once, on the off chance after stumbling onto the website searching for a last minute place to stay. Since then we can't stop going back for our holidays.

Good value for money, with well-kept showers and toilets if not very modern but it part of the charm of the working farm after all. The surrounding area is beautiful with horses running in the fields, free range chickens, cows and sheep.

The Campsite is in a great location between Llandudno and Conwy, for visiting all the attractions of the area. Plus there are plenty of options if you don't feel like cooking. Can pop to the pub; The Queens Head around the corner or head off for a longer walk Hickories Smokehouse

Would recommend this to anyone as a getaway for Friends, Families and couples alike.

Dinarth Hall campsite is in the perfect sweet spot between rural and urban; a working farm in a large stream valley, a half mile walk from a pub (The Queen's Head) and an easy mile walk from a town (Rhos on sea) and a secluded beach (Penrhyn Bay). We found there was plenty of room to find your own secluded spot on a weekend trip with the families in tents. Toilet and shower block were clean on every visit and had everything needed. There is also a laundry on site that we didn't use. There were no problems with noise.

Just spent the May day weekend here and have to agree with the last review. Lovely site and walkable to llandudno. The bus service is excellent with a stop right at the end of the road. The toilets were always spotlessly clean even though the site was packed. There are free showers separate to the toilets and these were spotless too. A newsagents and a spar less than 10 minutes walk away. It is a working farm and has an array of different animals. The chickens wander freely and there are a couple of dogs that wander around that are very friendly.

Stunning views and friendly staff which is family run, although on a working farm which is great to see all the animals including cows, sheep, Pigs & chickens was lovely to wake up to.

Although toilets and showers are dated they were always clean and functional, Children's play area in a safe section of the camp, No shop on site but only 10 mins walk from the site, although fresh eggs were available to buy from reception. Local pub 10 - 15 mins walk with fabulous food.

Found this campsite in The Good Camping Guide 13 yrs ago and have been coming here at some point each year since. Our 'kids' our now 19 and 22 and still love the nostalgia it brings. Situated in between the sleepy town of Rhos On Sea and Victorian splendour of Llandudno. For us it's a back to basic's camping holiday. We introduced our extended family to this site and they loved it. Yes I agree the shower and toilet block are not new compared to other sites/clubs, but after all it is a working farm. The staff have always and continue to be lovely/friendly and helpful with a no nonsense approach. If there is a problem it is delt with.

Being in the valley it can and does get damp during the night time, so if camping I highly recommend a season 3/4 sleeping bag/cover.

The farm dog is very friendly with kids and the only time she bark's is when excited and wants to play. Very disappointed that someone complained this time. So if want complete solitude and tranquillity go else where as this is suitable for families. And we will still continue to come for many years ahead.

 PROS:

Good flat grassed pitches which were well maintained

Good soft ground

Farm animals to keep the kids happy incl horses, pigs, hens and the lovely farm dogs which loved to play ball!

Swings and a climbing frame in the caravan field

Friendly staff

Refrigerator and freezer available to use

Fabulous location for Llandudno, Rhos on sea and colwyn bay.

CONS:

Toilet block is out dated, plenty of toilets and sinks but old and not well maintained. Cleaning was not a priority!

Washing up facilities consisted of 3 sinks (2 which were in the toilet block and both of these were round, so not ideal for rectangular bowls!) the 3rd was in the laundry room which was large and had plenty of hot water.

Shower block was avoid at all cost - most unisex cubicles had their issues, either no light, raised grids, no chairs, only one clothes hook, had to hold the button down for water to flow. Really does need an injection of money in this dept.

OVERALL: if you want a site with good location and don't expect the sparkling clean amenities this site is very good. We will return again.

Lots of pros lots of cons with this site,

Location is superb as very near llandudno, conwy and rhos on sea, there's a bus that goes to llandudno every 12 minutes at the end of the road for £6. 50 for two and takes about 25 minutes, taxi is quicker but costs £9-£10, bus to conwy is same price but takes an hour bus also into rhos, rhyl, abergele, I would advise getting a day saver at £6. 50 each then you can travel anywhere. The site itself is good, although from how popular it is I would think money needs to be spent, there's no shop on site, the nearest being around 15 minutes walk, nearest pub around the backroads is 15 minutes walk down a very narrow country lane. The showers are very poor, out of I think 6, 3 doors were broke and wouldn't lock, and the shower in one that had a good door didn't stay on, quite grubby showers but it is a farm. No dogs without leads apart from the farm collie that runs around all day barking ??. The area is crying out for a few more sites to encourage these owners to dip into their pockets, otherwise I fear people would not come, which is a pity
