We have just returned from a great stay at the Manor House Caravan Park. The fantastic customer service began when we booked our pitch on the telephone and continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the information given on arrival was excellent, including a great welcome pack with everything in it regarding the site and surrounding areas.

The toilet and shower room were spotless, what fantastic facilities.

The site is beautiful, quiet and calm with lots of space between the pitches and lovely lawns.

If you like excellent facilities in a lovely setting then you should certainly visit. We would have no hesitation recommending the Manor House and will be returning very soon.

Brilliant site owners are really friendly. Site peaceful and really well kept and in a great location. Shower and toilets are immaculate as is all the site. Both Owners work extremely hard to maintain this. You are given an information pack on arrival with maps, bus routes and nearest supermarkets and restaurants which is really useful and your caravan pitched for you. A quick tour of the site by Jeremy and any questions answered whether it be how to get somewhere or what amp the electric is. Most pitches are fully serviced and get the sun all day. If you want a chilled out stay then this is the place to stay. Jeremy be warned we will be back thanks for a great holiday.

Stayed for one weekend and loved the place.

If you want peace and quiet and no idiots this is for you. There are only ten pitches one, I believe is a permanent pitch.

The lawn areas are really well managed as is the shower and loo, spotlessly clean. If there is any critism it would be hard to find to be honest. There does seem quite a lot of rules but we liked them. The peace especially of an evening and night is fantastic. Each pitch has your name on as you arrive which is a nice touch. Access is by a relatively narrow lane but although we have only been to a few caravan sites it would seem that most are like this.

Would definitely recommend this site.

We visited this site mid June 2014, the site is very well laid out and clean and tidy, the owner greeted us when we arrived and also assisted us when we left, the facilities are very clean and tidy and well laid out, there are 2 toilets and one shower on site, the shower itself is very impressive being very large and with a good solid handle to hold onto if your a bit unsteady on your legs, the site is lovely and tranquil with a good communal area with seating and table, we where given a very informative information pack on arrival of where to eat and shop etc, the owner is very helpful and assisted one of the motor home owners who was having trouble with his vehicle, he arranged for a garage he knew to come and carry out the repairs, he also helped me with the jockey wheel on my caravan which was playing up, anyway I would certainly recommend this site to anyone its a little haven thanks to Jeremy and his wife.

Our second visit to this lovely site and hope to return for the New Year.

Toilets/shower are immaculate one of the best we have seen with all the homely touches that make you feel spoiled, the only way to top it would be with an extra shower but it was not a problem.

Owners are great, always there if you need them.

The pitches are a good size with plenty of room for a awning and to sit outside without being crowded, the grounds are beautiful and a credit to the owners.

In a word.

AWESOME.

Having used this website & read reviews for the campsite we decided it would be a great place to meet up with family for a weekend. After traveling over 300 miles to get there how wrong & disappointed we were!

On arrival we were greeted & shown around by the owner. The site appeared nice, clean, tidy & well kept.

We were directed to our pitch which, having read we would be able to put our awning up on grass, turned out to be broken tarmac. We could not use our ground sheet, the tarmac was sharp & would have punctured it. We ended up using cinder-blocks to hold up a brand new awning.

There are only 2 toilets & 1 shower on site. Yes they are clean, but not adequate for the amount of people on site. There are no washing-up area or laundry facilities & lists of rules everywhere.

There is a 'dog policy', which has to be agreed to when making a booking. Accidentally our dog escaped while we were sorting the awning out, he was loose for a matter of minutes. The owner threatened to kick us off site if it happened again, being unreasonably aggressive. Stating that dogs have to be kept on lead, even in the van, & walked in a country lane off site, which is full of dog & horse poop. Heaven forbid if a dog had an accident on site!

Having asked if it was ok for grand children to meet us, not stay, on site the answer was a resounding NO. So much for Northern hospitality!

The peace & tranquility, which is probably down to campers being afraid to make a noise for fear of being evicted, is broken by the constant barking of dogs in a near-by kennels & the site is in the airport flight path.

Being experienced campers & toured around most of Europe this is the worst campsite experience we have had. Our advice give it a miss!

We have just had four very relaxing days at this park and did not want to go home. Very clean site all round, lovely shower room, and the lawns are a credit to the owners who were also a very nice couple, made you feel welcome from day one. We certainly will be returning again now we have found this little gem, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from hustle and bustle. Thank you to our hosts for making our stay a pleasurable one.

As soon as we arrived at Manor House Park we were met by the site owner who made us feel very welcome, we were shown the facilities on offer and we were impressed by how pristine the toilets/shower room and service areas were.

Pitches are of a generous size being a hard standing and a good sized area of manicured lawn to each one.

Bus stop and a pub about a 15 minute walk.

We enjoyed our 3 nights holiday, the Park owners are keen to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay.

The site and gardens are immaculate(its like staying in some ones private garden with all the services)

We had no hesitation in booking a further 7 night stay in July.

From the moment we arrived we knew this site was special. Jeremy met us at the gate and showed us to our pitch. By the time we got out of the car, Jeremy was already unhooking us. Pith facilities were excellent, fully serviced and lots of room for car and porch awning, still giving us lots of space to sit out on the immaculate lawns.

We were given a tour of the site to show us where everything was and was also given a information pack which we used all weekend. We found all the local amenities easily by using the maps provided.

Toilet and shower room were immaculate. One shower with W. C. And one W. C but as this is a small site this was sufficient and we never had to wait.

It is obvious that Jeremy is very proud of this site and rightly so, it is a credit to the owners and we will definitely be visiting again.
