Very good family run site, owners very helpful. Toilets & showers very clean and tidy . Only two showers on the mens side which might prove difficult in high season. There is an small on site club which does excellent bar meals and the drinks prices are very reasonable! It is not a loud disco type club and is non smoking. Buses stop outside the entrance to Looe and Polperro. Site is level with good access.

Excellent small family run site. Quiet with small bar & indoor games room. Bar food available. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who very helpful & friendly. We had booked for 2 nights with the choice to stay for 3 if we liked the site which we did. My children made lots of new friends and the regulars were keen to recommend as they had returned year on year.

We went in the middle of August and this site was great. A nice flat site with good size pitches and not crammed in. Electric points around the outside and tents in the middle. Pitches were well kept, grass short but not bare!

The family who run it are very pleasant, nothing is too much trouble and they really seem to enjoy running their site.

Little bar on-site for the adults and a gamesroom next to the bar for kids, best of both worlds adults can have adult time but easily keep an eye on the kids! Lots of board games and books etc for kids & adults alike!

Showers were clean and solar powered (interesting poster on shower block telling you all about it) rest assured even when the sun doesn't shine theres hot water!

Small shop that stocked the essentials, bread, milk & ice-creams! ok and a few other bits & pieces! Also daily papers!

Looe & Polperro are 2 1/2 miles away with plenty of pubs & eating out places, both have beaches and are on the southwest coast path. Stunning views all around!

You will need to use your car from this site but it is central to many tourist attractions and only 10 mins from the main A38 that will take you further down into cornwall. The site is on a bus route that regularly goes to Looe & Polperro. Eden project is about 1/2hr away as is Plymouth.

We would recommend this site for a quiet break with the added option of having a bar on-site!

Super little family run campsite. Good points - Level well kept pitches, centre of field left open for kids games, good value for money (may bank holiday - £11pn for our big tent, 2adults+2kids, trailer and dog), free and clean showers (2 for the boys, 3 for the girls), small laundry, handy basic shop, nice small bar serving evening meals and adjoining games room with pool(50p) table tennis(25p to buy and keep your ping-pong ball) playstation(£1 per hour) table footy(50p) + free darts, doms, connect4 jenga, cribbage and other board games and a small selection of books to choose from for a 50p donation to the RNLI. Neg points - no kids playpark (owner claimed liability insurance was doubled last year), no dog exercise area, nearest place for off-lead run was the woods a half mile down lane. Would definitely use again.

 Quiet site, well maintained.
Owners run small but cosy onsite bar and are very welcoming.
We particularly enjoyed a sixties tape being played in the bar one night and were presented a copy to take home.
Off the beaten track but close to all attractions. Well worth a visit.
