Lovely site.
Lovely people running it. They are new to this business but do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable.
Showers and facilities were very clean.
There is a bar on site where you can also get meals. Also access to the site is easy.
Will definitely stay again for a longer period.

This is a lovely peaceful little site with beautiful views of Bodmin in the distance. There is a choice of grass, hardstanding (grass with plastic underneath) and gravel hardstanding and it is neat and well maintained.
The showers are hot and are not push button. They are not the most modern but are clean and functional. There are ample dish washing facilities, a laundry and a bar, which currently opens at 5pm. There is a little shop and a couple of pool tables.
The main attraction for us was the bus stop on site and excellent weekday bus service to Looe, Polperro and beyond. Sunday is a two hourly service. I believe there are walks nearby and the roads are quiet for cycling.
The site has recently been taken over by a new couple who are very pleasant and amenable but they appear to be having a few glitches with their booking system. I tried online and got an email saying they would be in touch but I heard nothing. I managed to confirm by phone. I am so glad I didn't give up on the booking as it is a gem of a little site.

Lovely quiet site with mostly large level pitches.
Toilet block dated but very clean - and no push on showers :)
Small shop on site and a bus every hour from the entrance.
Definitely will be going back to explore the area more hopefully next year

Excellent site. Very clean and well run, and excellent pitches. Friendly and very helpful owners.
A well-run shop, and a well-run bar, both with very reasonable prices.
Very nice shower block and toilets, which includes two disabled / family rooms.
Within easy driving distance of Looe and Polperro, both are less than 10 minutes drive away.
Two grocery stores are just a couple of miles away in Pelynt.
Decent bus service which pulls into the camp site to reach these locations.
Would stay here without hesitation any time.

What a gem of a site, this was our first camping trip with our young family so we were apprehensive.
The site was so clean and the facilities were spotless we really couldn’t fault them.
Such a safe feeling friendly site we were never worried about our kids at any point and Steve and Lene were really friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble from the moment we arrived to when we left,
We will 100% be returning and we’re sad to say goodbye.
The site has a nice well kept little pub with good choice beers and if there is something they don’t have in the shop Lene will try to get it for you or always point you in the right direction.
The site is well located with Looe, Polpero, Foey and Talland Bay all within minutes and access to other areas not to far away.

The site has easy access and pitches are level and well kept, quite sheltered with hedgerows.
Bus stop is convenient.
Toilet block is clean, lighting a little dark at times.
Overall a good site.

Excellent site; quiet and restful. Friendly, helpful and welcoming owners.
Efficient booking process, level pitches in well maintained grounds and minimum disturbance.
Facilities block comfortable and very clean, 2 x family washrooms adjoining and an outside but covered wash-up.
The local buses stop at the site entrance and it is easy to get to Polperro, Polraun, Looe or Liskeard.
Also an easy walk to Talland Bay and the coastal path.
A most enjoyable stay.

Camping Caradon, Looe. Arrived 04/09/21 Dept. 18/09/21 We have just returned from this fantastic site. Everything they say in their brochure about the site and the area is spot on.
The facilities are the best we have ever experienced, everything worked, plenty of hot water and no charge for the use of the facilities.
Our request for a pitch reasonably close to the toilet block was provided. A spacious level grass pitch with a 16amp E/H. A quiet site, considering it is a Family site with very good security.
The Barrier does not operate after 2300hrs, (11pm). The owners and staff were allways about should you need any help etc.
The camp shop was very well stocked with all of the essentials plus fresh Milk and Bread, Pasties, Sausage Rolls etc.
A very good local Bus Service operates from the site on an hourly basis to Looe, Polperro, Pelynt and Liskeard. A nice Pub in Pelynt (1 and a half miles away) together with shops and a Butchers.
Ideal for those who want a restful break or a more active type of holiday. We hope to return, ASAP
Good access to the site for those towing trailers/ caravans etc.
