Just returned back from a fantastic stay at this beautiful campsite. We stayed for 9 nights and had other half's sister and her man with us for 7 in the awning. It was our first visit here on the back of reviews on here. We will be definitely be returning!
A warm welcome from Steve and Lene on arrival, Steve saw us to our pitch, which was great. Pitch was large as we had already said we had a twin axle with an 8m X 3m awning. Fitted a treat. Pitch 39.
Site is immaculate and a credit to them both. Showers and toilets, though not many, appear to cope quite admirably and always spotlessly clean.
Small shop for essentials and able to order newspapers, which is good. I have to dog sit our jack russell whilst they go out!
Very good local shop with butchers in Pelynt, 5 mins drive. Also The Jubilee Inn in Pelynt which does very good food at lunchtime and reasonably priced, dog friendly too.
Looe and Polperro provide the usual mix of shopping and pasties and a couple of Coop shops. Great Pubs too. Can recommend the Sea Kitchen at lunchtime on Hannaford Road as a great place to have a drink and something to eat on their patio whilst looking out to sea. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Looe and the views good. Also free parking at the end of the road!
We had food at the site bar a couple of times and were not disappointed. Well worth popping to the shop and pre ordering. Very good value, and bar is pleasant also.
Very good location for visiting Looe, Polperro and and other nearby places of interest.
In closing, We will definitely return (But as other reviewers have said, we would rather it be a secret location. )

What a lovely site to find, very warm welcome and everything we may need to know explained to us on arrival. We were given a bus timetable which was very useful, we used this to travel to Liskguard, bus stop being at entrance to site which was a bonus. Sadly we were only here for 2 nights but would be more than happy to return, site is immaculate and could not find anything negative to say about it. A big thankyou

Really enjoyed our visit. The site was very well kept being clean and well tended. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and accomodating. The facilities were good including a games room and bar area with a family feel.
We had loads of space on our pitch, but mainly because the pitches adjacent to us were empty - it might have been a bit tight if full and we'd put our large awning up.
Great location with easy access to the local beaches and town.
Only stayed for a few nights but would certainly visit again if visiting the area again.
Thanks!

We had the privilege of staying here for 5 nights over Easter. What a find. This site really is exceptional with everything in tip-top order; there literally isn’t a blade of grass out of place.
The facilities are excellent with plenty of piping hot water and are kept beautifully clean with medicated hand wash provided there and at the Chemical Waste Disposal Point another plus. Good laundry room and covered wash-up area. There is a games room and small shop for those forgotten essentials.
Whilst there we interacted with the owners on numerous occasions and found them always to be very cheerful and helpful.
The bar is also very pleasant with reasonable prices and much to my liking serves a lovely pint of Real Ale – Tribute.
On our final night we treated ourselves to meals in the bar which were all very well prepared, of good quality and reasonably priced Try the Singapore Rice – brill!
All in all a really good camp site sufficiently secluded to avoid the rat-race of Looe and Polperro (and further afield Liskeard) which are easily accessed by frequent bus service stopping in the Camp Site.
An added bonus are the beautiful rural walks for the site teeming with wildlife.
Writing this review I was conscious of everything being on the positive and nothing negative – that is simply because we didn’t find anything to criticise. Well done Steve and Lene for sustaining such a high standard. Such a pleasure to have stayed here.

Lovely well kept campsite. Owners very helpful.
Short drive from Looe, although there is a bus stop outside the entrance.
Toilets and showers are very clean, although a little dated.
Bar and family room with a various amount of things to do.
Good choice of beers and other drinks.
Takeaway service only in the High season, but you can take food into the bar area when it opens at 7. 30pm. Would be nice to see it open a little earlier.
The pitches are a little small on some parts, and reversing on and off would be a challenge for some when the camp is full. I had no trouble, as the site was not full, even with it being August!
Will be returning in 2017.

Stayed here for 6 nights after the bank holiday. This is our fourth visit to the site and we will definitely go back again. The facilities are immaculate and the site is so well kept. The owners Stephen and Lene go out of their way to welcome you and have a chat. The park is excellent for small children and the family room provides entertainment for kids of all ages. It is an absolute gem of a site and so reasonably priced as well. Fantastic place in a beautiful part of the country.

Well we just got back from a glorious 8 nights at this campsite. We only booked for 4 nights originally but extended our stay twice ha ha. We found this site by accident but I can assure you what a gem of a site (should keep it quiet really ) I can only say the amenities are absolutely spotless and more than adequate to make your stay very enjoyable. There is not a thing out of place and everytime we used shower blocks. Toilets. Laundry room it was to a high standard. The rules in place are upkept 100% which makes your holiday much better as you don't have to worry about anything. I took my grandchildren and this is the only site that we have been comfortable to let them roam free. There is a small play area for the children and the bar at night has a pool table. Table tennis. Darts and even toys for small children. The owners are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them. So steve and lene (i hope I got this right ) we will be back next year and I can only commend you for a well kept well run camp site and thankyou for our stay. Tracey and nigel jones

Lovely well maintained site with flat pitches which drained well. It rained for the first 48 hrs we were there and we had no problem with the drainage. There is a small shop for the usual essentials and you can get a paper to order. We spent 12 nights here with our children aged 4 -17. Our kids made lots of friends and were sad to leave. Can't comment on the food as we didn't try it but it looked good and was reasonably priced. It was nice to have the family room to hang out in the evening. As a previous reviewer mentioned it would be nice to have an area for older children to kick a ball. The site was very quiet at night with a noise curfew between 11pm - 7pm. There are only 3 showers in the gents and ladies but we rarely had to cue at all even though the site was busy. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The wifi was on and off but free. One of the best sites we have visited will definitely be back.
