This is our favourite site, for lunch there's the crab shed a little way down the road that sells the most amazing and cheap fish platter. Wells beach half an hour away.
The site is beautiful and great for the children. New shower blocks are great. Nice woods surrounding. Also the other guests are usually friendly with well behaved children'''!
I love cooking on the fires and just chillin, there's usually friends to be made with a few drinkies at night. Ill be back!

We went to this site for a week and I cannot recommend it enough it is so peaceful we had a lovely time, campfire every night wood can be bought from the very pleasant farmer.
At weekends it can get busy but come Sunday afternoon you have got the peace and quiet again.
The walks are lovely and if you get in you car there is some nice places to visit.
We cooked with a dutch oven over the fire fantastic well worth trying it, will be returning again.
The showers are kept clean but I would recommend taking a couple of tokens in with you if your washing your hair you need 2.
There is no playarea for the kids but all the kids played in the woods and had lots of fun.

Fantastic back to basics campsite! We've just returned from a one night stay at Breck Farm with a group of friends from a VW Club and wish it could have been longer!
I understand the toilet block has only just opened and it has plenty of toilets (15 in the ladies!) about 6 or 7 hand wash basins and 4 showers. It is basic: there are no hand dryers, soap or towels/paper towels, and no tiles on the walls or floors of the showers so take your flip flops or Crocs with you! There are half a dozen washing up sinks in the same block and plenty of tourist info too. We didn't find a playground but with so much open space and loads of woodland our children amused themselves by exploring or playing with the football and frisbee.
But the basic facilities wouldn't put me off going again as the atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back. We went with a group of other campers (about 40 of us) and we had loads of space for ourselves and weren't that close to any body else. The site doesn't have marked pitches and you can go where you want! Yes we had a fire and it was magical. We smelt of woodsmoke in the morning. We cooked on the open fire and toasted marshmallows later on. You can take wood with you or but it from the farmhouse together with free range eggs and marmalade.
Loads of trees and wildflowers, lots of lovely walks, and a real campfire- this site is amazing and we will be going back! If you like old fashioned camping without all the mod cons then this is the site for you!

What everyone has said about this site is true. A basic site but showers ok. People very friendly. Hubby loved a camp fire but we are going to take a axe next time or so he says . Is he going to chop down the woods? Minus points. We put our freezer blocks in the freezer and they went missing, told them in the farm house they said some people just borrow everyone elses so beware. In the end we got some cheap ones, even they went missing. It filled up very quickly on Friday and it got a bit noisy at nights. Will go back but we will go not at a weekend or bank holidays. It is a lovely site we just like the quiet life.

A great relaxed campsite with adequate facilities. We enjoyed the openness of the site and the fact that you can have campfires in the evenings.
The site is massive and therefore can get a little tedious having to walk three boys to the toilet at frequent intervals, next time we will camp nearer the toilet block!
As mentioned in other reviews the toilet block is still being 'perfected', cold, dirty concrete floors are not the best place to enjoy a shower. This can however be forgiven for the environment and atmosphere of the bank holiday weekend.
The surrounding area is beautiful and we found that if you walked out of the back of the campsite, through the woods, you could enjoy a pizza and a glass of wine at the Kelling Heath holiday park. Handy for the supermarket there as well!

We took a rented VW camper for a three night stay. The campsite is enormous and has plenty of space for you to spread out and not crowd any neighbours and we had a very enjoyable time, even though there are no real play facilities for children, there was so much space that it seemed not to matter.
The toilet & shower block was being refurbished when we visited but even so was functional, clean and spacious with plenty of facilities so there was no need to queue. Sinks were available to wash up in along with a freezer for refreshing your ice blocks for the cool box - cost, just a charity contribution.
All in all, for our first time away with three children under 8, this was a very good experience and the site is definitely one that we will visit again!

This is the fourth time been to Breck Farm. Had a fantastic time; even better this time as more showers and toilets - 50p for the showers but this was enough time even for me!
Farmer very friendly and helpful suggesting some walks that we could go on. Would definitely recommend this site for peace and quiet - ideal time when we went as not many people and not a lot of children!

Despite some unfortunate teething problems for the new shower block and toilets we loved this site. The camping area is huge and got totally filled on the bank holiday weekend (much to our amazement). Lots of electric hookups and all near the loos and showers. The camping area can have camp fires and is a lot further away from the loos so a lot of people spoilt the experience by driving to the loo - some a little too fast. The owners said they plan to put up 5mph signs (I'd have given a 10 out of 10 for kids if it wasn't for this as it should have been done already) and this is really urgent as the site is perfect for kids to cycle around - the kids complained the first day that there was no play area until I pointed out the whole field, the woods, the farm and their imagination were the biggest play area ever! Our children loved the hens and the woods. There are fresh eggs, delicious marmalade and chutney on sale. They also sell some sweets including marshmallows! You do get the smell of hens we didn't care as this added to the experience, but if the wind is right on you and you are funny about smells it is strong (the caravan club area is right next to the hen houses! The new showers had problems during peek times and are not yet tiled but we got a refund and extra tokens when things went wrong and they were very keen to do this (they plan 2 more header tanks and tiling). During the week, doors were put of the outer of the block and this made a huge difference inside! The showers seemed expensive but I have to admit it stopped long waits so it worked! A short walk to Waybourne (Poppy line steam rail on route and well worth a visit) you have a lovely pub with real beers and great food. A short drive and you have fantastic beaches. Sheringham has great - icecream shops with every flavour imaginable and a good beach. Cromer was fun too and we enjoyed the pier. We did a lot of crabbing and the best place for crabbing was Wells next to Sea! Improvements - a welcome letter on arrival with site rules including a request to drive slowly and where camp fires are allowed, and a map of the farm layout and a little of the local area. Other than that great !

We went to Breck Farm (4 adults, 2 tents and 2 cars) for the bank holiday weekend (24th May). I did book but it turned out that you didn’t need to.
At £10 per night per couple we were very pleased.
Toilet and shower block consisted of male and female areas, approx 15 toilets and 5 showers in each. These were clean but did get crowded at busy times. Shower tokens were 50p each and lasted 4 minutes.
We went on the busiest weekend they had ever had apparently and a result of this was the hot water running out in the morning for a few hours.
The washing up area was great, also a freezer to put ice blocks in and information boards.
The owners were very helpful and polite. They sold eggs, wood for fires and marshmallows.
We were attracted to this site initially because you could have a camp fire. When we arrived the metal rings had all gone but we were told we could still have a fire.
This site was very relaxed and you could set up where you liked.
We found it a short drive to the beach, steam railway and seal watching!
Will definitely go back.

This is a very friendly and easy-going site that we enjoyed very much. No need to book with so much space in which to pitch and you can choose whether you want to be amongst others or a bit more secluded.
It appeared that the toilet block is being developed. Half done at the moment means that it is communal (not ideal but not the end of the world) but when the other half is completed, it will be very acceptable without being plush.
Anyone who wants to get away from it, not be bothered by anyone or have the hassle of booking should come here. North Norfolk is magnificent and you won't be disappointed by this site.
