Nice tidy site, clean and modern facilities.
Not far from Holt/Salthouses and a short drive to Cromer.
Owner is friendly and helpful. Lanes approaching are narrow but not difficult in any way. Approach the site from Holt if you're in a caravan as there is a hairpin junction on Google's root!
TV signal was very poor, but 4G signal very strong for streaming.
My only gripe is the entrance is too narrow for 8ft vans, you can't avoid dragging against the hedges either side as you drive in.

Basic campsite with brilliant outlook and amazing sunsets. EHU/water to each hardstanding. Easy walk to village centre with good bus service to other places.
Downside - limited number of toilets/shower facilities. And a bit expensive!
5 hardstanding pitches plus several grass pitches for tents and caravans. Hence the limited facilities review. However, we would visit again.

This was our fourth visit to Rectory Hill Barns Campsite and we found it just as pleasant and peaceful as ever.
It’s a million miles away from the large and busy sites on other parts of the north Norfolk coast and if you enjoy nature,
The wonderful protected coastline and marshes are but a mile or so’s walk away.

The owner cleaned the showers/WCs every day. However, because the owner has sold the site, it is in need of a good refurbish. Mr Rat made an appearance in the ladies on our last day!

Really lovely site and the owner so friendly.
A large field with great space in between outfits.
We had a fantastic sunset on all 3 nights that we were there.
Showers and toilets immaculate.
Easy walk to local pub and just half a mile to a better pub with great food, although a bit expensive. Both pubs are dog friendly, in fact the second one loves them!
Cley village has a great smokehouse and local shop selling everything you could want.
Lovely walks to beach and beyond.

Peace and quiet, a short distance from the lovely village of Cley.
We were well looked after by Charlie and met several fellow travellers during our stay.

This is our second visit to Rectory Hill.
It is perfect for location, a 10 minute walk into Cley with its beautiful church, couple lovely pubs & the windmill, Blakeney is also within walking distance.
The site is lovely, although the tall hedges could be cut to allow some afternoon sun onto pitches 1-4, the toilets looked good from the outside (they weren't open due to covid) pitches are a good size, fires are allowed & the owners were friendly.
Have only given 5/10 for child friendliness as there is no play area for children.
We will be back.

Lovely quiet location with easy walking distance to local pub and village of Cley.
We were pretty self sufficient however the shower block was clean, warm and Covid measures in place.
Some maintenance was needed in places but didn’t spoil our week.

I stayed for 3 weeks at this lovely site, very well run by Charlie.
Would highly recommend, not least because the shower block is kept absolutely pristine.
Great location for exploring the delights of North Norfolk, shame there is not a direct path from the site down into Cley but can't have everything and a tad beyond Charlie's control.
Will be returning and very dog friendly as well.
