Very quiet nice site with lovely shower/toilet block.
Gravel hardstanding which we were looking for because of the amount of rain recently. Large grass area with some picnic tables.
Short walk to pub and Cley. Good base for walking along the Norfolk coast.
Thoroughly recommend a visit.

We love Rectory Hill Barns and manage to get there a few times each year. Even in January the toilets and showers are lovely and warm and cleaned regularly.
The site is nicely situated for exploring the North Norfolk coastline for walking or birdwatching.
A lovely couple run the site and are on hand if you need any help.
Highly recommended !

Small and quiet site.
Heated shower block was very clean and warm. However the sensor activated light kept going off whilst I was in the shower and the only way to reactivate it was to run out.

Lovely quiet location.
Good facilities and a 10 minute walk to the pub.
Pheasants kept my Springer amused.
Some great little shops in Cley next the sea including a smoke house.

Quiet & peaceful with lovely dog walks around. Nearby pub was an easy walk for dinner.
However toilet block only had 1 toilet for each sex & two showers, would not have been happy if the site had been full.
There were probably 5 or 6 caravans/ campervans plus 3 or 4 tents when we stayed. Had to use the disabled toilet a couple of times rather than queue.
Excellent rubbish/ recycling/ dog poo bins hidden behind a fence.

I loved it. It was peaceful and perfectly located for the activities I had planned.
The utility block was fine with plenty of hot water for showering. I would go back.

We really loved this campsite. It’s a short walk to Cley and the beach and is peaceful with lovely views and sunsets.
The shower room is immaculate and even though staying over August bank holiday I didn’t have to wait.
Charles creates a friendly atmosphere and is always around making sure everything is running smoothly.
The washing up area and bins and recycling area are very tidy.
I was definitely recommend.

Expensive for facilities provided.
If more units on site would be difficult with only 1 toilet and 2 showers.
No hose at chemical waste disposal area.
Lights keep going out in toilet/shower block and dangerous as pitch black at night and in the middle of a shower when lights turn off. Have to physically go into sink area to activate lights again. Pitches not very well maintained.
Stayed on much better certified sites locally

Site location is nice with lovely views on a good vicinity to the coast and was definitely a peaceful site.
However for what should be a 5 pitch certified site we have had 12 plus pitches. There is only 1 toilet for each sex with 2 showers which cut out every 15 seconds however they were clean and hot.
Very annoyed at pricing as arrived on site to be told extra costs for children and dog despite costings on website stating £17 to £24 per night no other information given about extras so check before booking.
We were paying £102 for 3 nights with basic facilities where most club sites price for a family of 4 with no extras.
The grass was in need of cutting and the hedges lining the entrance are 8ft apart leaving my mirrors and caravan scratched. For a similar price could have gone to a fully serviced location.
Despite all this though the site was very peaceful and was a pleasant stay.

Good site handy for Cley which is a short 10 minute walk away past the Three Swallows pub with a lovely beer garden. Holt is a little further away probably a 45 Min. Walk.
Site is well away from road up a gravelled track and so is very quiet. £22 per night we paid in June/July so not unreasonable toilets and showers clean and hot water good. EHU included.
Norfolk Wetlands Trust and salt marshes well worth a visit locally and Coast Hopper bus available regularly from Cley.
