Always very pleasant to stay at Calder bank,
The owners Pete and Clare are always very helpful if you have a problem.
Easy going site, a pub within walking distance ( across 2 sheep fields) also a small shop in Bolton by Bowland.

Lovely campsite with good clean facilities. 2 mens and 2 ladies shower cubicles. 2 covered wahing up sinks.
Friendly owners who responded promptly to my emails.
The freezer for ice packs was really useful.
Quiet, location approx 25 minutes drive from Settle we used the campsite as a base for walking the 3 Peaks, cycling in Gisburn forest and visiting Stainforth waterfall.

Just stopped at calder farm for 3 nights. The site is very well kept and in a lovely location.
Touring pitches are fairly level but ours required slight leveling.
Shower block is regularly cleaned and there's a pot wash at the side of it.
The owners were very friendly and came round offering a fire pit with wood for £10, they also sell ice creams.
This is one of our favourite sites we've visited.
It's fairly remote but the coach and horses pub is a 10 min walk away and do great food.

Fantastic site and super friendly hosts.
Highly recommended site, great facilities and location.
Short walk into a lovely village with an ok pub. Get the Mahou, the ale is like knats.
Love this place and will be back.

Lovely quiet site in beautiful location. Helpful friendly site owners. Good clean facilities.
Excellent local pub.
Cycling in Gisburn forest and Pendle Hill nearby. Had a stunning meal in La Locanda an Italian restaurant five miles away in Gisburn.
Would definitely stay here again

The site is so relaxing, set in idealistic country with horses and sheep nearby.
The owners make you feel part of the family and would help if in trouble.
Lovely place to be. 👍

What a fantastic site. Pitches are so well spaced apart, huge field to pick your spot.
Unbelievable scenery around you, a short walk to the pub, and plenty of walks to chose from.
Site was quiet at night and friendly in the daytime.
Owners were very kind, friendly and welcoming. Even helping me restart my car after the Beer fridge drained my car battery. :)

Second time back at Calder farm, we were here for New year.
The site is in a great spot with lovely views across the valley to Pendle hill, good walking straight from the van door, and the local pub is excellent.
Haven't used the facilities as we use our own, but have had a look and they are clean, tidy and well maintained, wi-fi is included and we had a good tv reception,
We'll be back.

I visited this site with my young son, having visited over 9 years ago with and older son. Claire was as welcoming as I remember, so always as good start. The rest of the stay did not disappoint either.
The site has evolved a little bit since my last visit, the main toilet / shower block is a more permanent structure than I remember it, it was clean, tidy and warm.
The camping field we stayed in was non-electric, with only another 4 tents on the field, there is a portaloo and wash station next to the field which was handy if.
You didn't want to wander to the main wash block.
A great site, wonderful vista's and a ideal base to use for walking, cycling or just kicking back and relaxing.
We will definitely be back to visit.

Very well maintained site.
Been once before but now they have opened another field for tents.
Stayed right at the far end down the hill nice and quite.
