Our second visit to this very peaceful campsite

Toilets and showers immaculate

Arrived late it was pitch black and lousy weather but once setup it's the best place to relax and unwind

Will return to this little gem many times

A lovely site, it is a short walk to the village where the shop sells a huge range of goods including bacon sandwiches!

The facilities were good, the pitches were a mix of hardstanding and grass.

The whole site is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. We would definitely recommend.

Lovely site, spotlessly clean, quiet and with good views of Pendle Hill.

The shower facilities were excellent.

It’s a short walk to the village with a well equipped shop and wonderful old coaching in with excellent food.

We will definitely return.

Fantastic campsite with stunning views and beautiful clean facilities.

The owners were friendly and gave advice on local places to visit.

This was a tranquil and peaceful spot for a week of camping that we enjoyed immensely and would like to visit again soon.

Great cycling routes locally and stunning walks so a fantastic spot for outdoor enthusiasts.

Really enjoyed this site. Good toilet / shower block, easy to access, pitches are fine.

Site slopes but not a big problem and views are great.

Will return. Very good location. Certainly would recommend

We have returned to this site several times now. The Owners are lovely and helpful. There are areas to walk the dog, the toilet? shower block is great, scrupulously clean with warm showers and cloths, cleaners etc to use if you want extra clean facilities, just due to Covid19, otherwise this really not required.

The site has been further improved during lockdowns and the hard standings seem flatter and the gravel is even.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in lovely surroundings with Pendle hill in the distance. I believe you can even stable your horse there! Dogs are welcome. Lots of tents, motorhomes and tourers but didn't feel any crowding.

All together one of our favourite sites. Will be going back later in the year.

An absolute gem. Great hard standing with ehu and grassed area between pitches. Toilet and shower facilities are immaculate.

There are ehu tent pitches and two huge fields for non ehu tents. 10 min walk through fields into the village.

The views across the valley to Pendle Hill are stunning.

Our first visit but will not be our last.

 Peaceful clean and friendly site

We were able to choose our pitch and position in a way that suited us.

The owner called over to say hi and introduce herself, site was very spacious, clean and well maintained.

Nice walk into the small village, 15 mins by road 10 mins across fields and along the river.
