I stayed at the campsite in my bespoke SUV camping setup.

The site was exactly what I needed. It was very quiet and the shower block was so clean and warm.

There is a small vegetable preperation area/kitchen with a washing machine (which is free to use) There is also another plug socket in there so you could take a kettle if you camp and have a much faster cup of tea.

The chip shop in the village is great (it is takeaway only though). The pub was closed when I went which was disappointing as I intended eating there and sitting most of the night there.

I walked to cromer which is 3 miles and took me about 1hr 30 ish. Some of the walk is on the road so not safe.

Great site and I'd recommend. For what I needed it had everything which is why I've given it the scores below.

Charming little site tucked away off the main road at Roughton but close to pub, chippy, garage/shop and bus route. Brilliant walk into comer via felbrigg.

Very friendly and helpful welcome and extremely good value for money. Shower block better than some CAMC sites.

Wii definitely visit again

Our first trip out in our newly acquired Campervan and we sure picked the right place. A welcome sign greeted us and told us where to find our pitch so we could get settled in straight away.

Site staff were on hand with lots of useful info about where to go and facilities on site.

The facilities are free so no hidden extras. It was quiet with being out of season but that’s what we wanted. Norfolk is a lovely place but you will need to leave the village to see any attractions. There is a bus route right by if you don’t want to drive.

There is a chip shop, pub serving meals and a shop/garage within a short walking distance.

We will use this site again when we come back to Norfolk so that speaks for itself. Really friendly people, clean site and quiet at night for a good nights sleep. We are looking forward to going back.

We had a great stay at this site, we enjoyed it so much we left our tent pitched, returned to home for work, health, commitment, and continued our holiday.

We look forward to returning.

There is much to see and do in the local area. National trust and English heritage sites are in easy reach, along with world war2 collections

John the owner and Hussein, site manager were helpful and accommodating.

This site is excellent value for money with, great facilities as mentioned in other reviews. John even provided a freezer that we could use for our stay.

We have stayed at many campsites throughout England and in Scotland including the Western Isles and this one is up there with the best.

It is a lovely quiet site and we stayed there for five nights and were met and welcomed by the owner John a very friendly man immediately on our arrival.

The toilets, showers, washrooms and free washing machine are kept spotlessly clean by Hussain a lovely guy who lives on site and who is approachable at any time for any help and assistance you may need, nothing is too much trouble for him.

The value for money is better than I have seen anywhere. Fish and chip shop, garage and Spa shop and local pub serving both sit down and take away meals are literally five minutes walk away and for fishermen there is a lake opposite the site.

Another reviewer called this a ‘little gem’ and I would totally agree, and unlike some other sites there are no hidden extras.

I would 100% recommend this site to anybody wanting a nice peaceful holiday.

Loved this site. Electric. Lovely clean showers. Washing machine if needed. Nice owner called John and a man called Hussain. Greeted us. Nothing to much trouble.

Small but lovely place to come for a relax and we were close to Bus service. We used a taxi to go to cromer.

Found a nice circular walk to Felbrigg Hall. A nice short walk through children's park near chip shop to the church. Had a meal in local pub The New Inn which was walking distance.

Fishing on opposite side of road called Chapel lake. My husband caught 15 lb carp. Easy to book. Number near gate.

Yes would come back. Thankyou
