We stay here every couple of months all year round as my wife's brother lives nearby. Its a small quiet site that's only 15 mins drive into Cromer. There is a bus stop on the main road 500 yds away by the pub if preferred.

The photos make the site look a bit cluttered but this is not our experiences.

John is a friendly typical laid back Norfolk guy who is there if needed, otherwise leaves you alone once hes been round to collect the very reasonable fees (£16 incl elec) in the mornings.

Good size washing up facilities room including washing machine (free)

Plenty of showers and toilets for size of site. (Separate M/F toilets but showers shared).

Pub down road needs decorating inside but does good food up till 21:00 sharp. Excellent chip shop also closes at this time.

Only advice I would give is if its your first time visiting arrive in daylight as site is sloped and pitches not lit. (Toilet block is lit)

Your surname and pitch number are written up on a black board attached to his garage which we quickly catch in our headlights as we arrive late.

Some pitches are not as level as others (Pitches 1, 2 & 3 are best) but we never use leveling blocks unless really necessary (defeats the object of having a camper van to me) so not that bad. A couple of shunts normally sorts it out.

Much prefer this small site to staying in West Runton with herds of others.

Not a level site but can be managed ok. Facilities are A1 but the refuse bins were over flowing.

Would use again no problem

Fish and chips near site is 1st class.

We had a brilliant time. As this was out first visit, we were not sure what to find but John was very welcoming and free hot showers and toilet block well kept.

Site has a slope but not insurmountable. Great for all the local tourist spots and quiet at night.

No facilities for children but then ours have all flown the nest and loved the peace and quiet.

Easy access off main road. Owner John friendly. Grass and hard gravelly standings, some slight slope.

Toilet block nice and clean. Convenient chip shop, pub, fuel, convenience shop.

We have stayed previous years and April this year. Convenient to visit Cromer, Sheringham and the coast.

Our little dog enjoyed the walks.

Fantastic site. Owner was so friendly and helpful. Showers were great, free and hot.

Lots of space between pitches. Close to a lovely pub and fish and chip shop.

Couldn't ask for a better site to stay on.

Owner did not like complaint on arrival. Booked weeks ago but the plot booked was taken. Told us if we don’t like it go somewhere else, so we did. We don’t like being spoken to like that especially as we had been several times before but always had an issue with our booking.

Basic site behind owners house with a nice toilet/shower block which could be cleaner, Always plenty of hot water, soap and toilet rolls. Rough hard standings and the site slopes so impossible to park a Motorhome level without chocks. Also grass plots which are more level.

Elsan point area was dirty. Good electric and a free washing machine. Owner has not made any improvements since we first stayed about 3 seasons ago. £16 a night reasonable.

Excellent fish and chip shop, garage and pub and short drive to supermarkets and Cromer.

Small peaceful site with large pitches good clean shower block with loads of hot water and free to use washing machine in veg preparation /pot washing room.

This site is a good base for many local attractions, and an absolute bargain at £16 a night with electric and no extra charge for awning or wind break. John the owner was a really genuine, lovely and helpful person

Will definitely return

A small site but with large pitches, all electric, a clean, new brick-built shower and toilet block, this site is ideally situated for exploring the north-east coast of Norfolk which we enjoyed. Lots of other attractions including the Broads a short drive away.

The owner, John, is friendly and cheerful, full of local knowledge, like where to find the best Norfolk sausages or the nearest caravan spares shop.

There is a great pub, The New Inn, an easy walk away with a good restaurant, and a popular fish and chips outlet opposite the pub. A small McColls supermarket is also close, making this a very good location. Thanks for a lovely week, we must return.

Highly recommended site and at £16 a night, free hot, powerful showers, the only downer was another visitor had low voltage causing his fridge to bleep but we did not experience this ourselves.

Spent a lovely 2 weeks at this gem of a site. The owner John is friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Shower block clean with disabled facility.

There is washing up facilities and a washing machine you can use free of charge. There are part hardstanding pitches with electric hookup all for £16 per night.

I can recommend the local fish and chips shop and also the local pub do a very nice carvery available every day at a reasonable cost. We will definitely visit again.
