Wonderfully clean and quiet site. Pitches were a good size, and the layout of the site meant helped to create a feeling of privacy. We chose not to have a lake side pitch but may opt for that next time as they looked so nice. The nature walk is good for a little evening wander or there is common ground nearby to tempt those who want a more substantial walk.
Toilets and showers lovely and clean, more than adequate when the site is quiet. The wardens are really friendly, greeting us on arrival with lots of helpful information and checking things were OK during our stay. The owner rides round on his bicycle from time to time to check everything is OK. Disposable BBQs not permitted to protect the grass but a variety of BBQs available to be borrowed.
Can recommend the Teapot teashop opposite and the Waterside Pub in Diss. Really enjoyed the Bressingham Steam Museum and a trip to Southwold but equally enjoyed a couple of days just relaxing peacefully on site. Definitely somewhere we are planning on returning to.

We can honestly say, this is the best site we have used so far, in our four years camping, owners welcome everyone, and cannot do enough to help, the site is well laid out, and looked after, there is plenty of room between units, the shower blocks are beautifully clean, the lakes are lovely to walk round, and with the tea-room, shop and pub nearby, what more could you want! diss is 4 miles away, and southwold, a lovely old-fashioned sea-side resort 30 miles, but worth a visit, so much to see and do, will definitely return soon. This site is tranquil and pretty, well run and maintained to a high standard. The wardens are friendly and very helpful. The toilet/shower block was spotless but could not really cope with the demand over the aug. Bank hol. Weekend, particularly in the ladies! We take longer guys!Spacing between pitches was very good even when the site was full and there was a good sense of privacy. The ponds were lovely to wander round. The site is well placed for exploring the region. Pity The Dolphin pub is not up to much;we ate there once. It was grim and grubby. Shame. Can recommend The Saracen s Head and Waterside Inn in Diss and The white Horse at Stoke Ash. The Tea Pot tea room across the road from the site is a gem. The fish and chip van on a friday tea time was also very good. Local highlights were Bressingham Gardens and steam museum, and the Mere at Diss. Further afield South Wold is a must, Halesworth a cute little town especially The Little Gallery and Tilly s tea room at the top of the Thoroughfare. Also Eastberg holt and Flatford Mill beautiful. And don t miss the Bell Cage at eastberg Holt church!Had 10 fab days. We will definitely be back for more!

Have just returned from a short break, staying at Honeypot Camping and I can honestly say it was by far our most enjoyable camping experience. From the very beginning when making the booking, a very friendly and helpful phone call. On arrival we were given detailed information about the site and local area. The site itself was beautiful, extremely clean and well maintained. There were no out of control children, everyone was courteous and we had no qualms about leaving our tent open to go for a walk round the lake. Thank you to the warden and his wife who obviously work very hard and its paid off. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Have just returned from a 2 week stay. The campsite was lovely, peaceful and well looked after. Worth paying extra for the pond side pitch. Facilities very clean. Never had to queue for toilets, showers etc. The wardens were really lovely people, they looked after you, the owner even came round on his bike daily to see if you were OK. Could not fault it would definitely go back there. The local pub 'Dolphin' is not up to much. Went for a drink but sat outside as we did not fancy sitting in side and would not have eaten there. On Fridays a fish and chip van parks opposite the site, really nice food. Liked the fact that where we pitched was a dog free zone. Dogs were allowed on the other part.

A Fantastic camping site.
We took our Grandson here for his 1st caravan trip.
The Staff are very friendly and the site is quite but just what we were wanting.
The toilets and other stuff was VERY clean and tidy. A short walk around the two lakes feeding the fish was just great for my 4 year old grandson.
Would we go back to this site? YES we would as it is not very often you find a Jewel of a site like this.

Just back from another stay at the Honeypot. Wardens friendly and attentive but not intrusive. All booking communication with the site owner was smooth and easy. Facilities clean, plenty of free hot water for showers and pots & pans. This is the first visit during school holidays and seeing the site so full, timing for showers is crucial, early or late visit best. That said the website clearly states not an all singing, all dancing site and what it does provide it does superbly. The option to camp by the lake makes the visit a most relaxing one. Plenty of good dog walks from the site or a short car journey away. Ideally placed for getting about and supermarkets at Diss only 10 minutes away. Mobile chip van on a Friday is worth the queue. Will be looking to return next year.

Lovely campsite and hosts. Enjoyed 3 nights and paid extra for lakeside pitch. Can certainly recommend 31b pitch. Will visit again. Campsite was recommended by caravan users but we had tent and enjoyed just as much. Nice clean toilets and showers. Would recommend tea rooms opposite. Added bonus of having fridge and freezer for you to use as well. Pets are also welcome. 2 lakes are on the site. Ornamental and fishing.

We stayed at Honey Pot for 3 nights in our tent and found the all of the facilities and staff to be wonderful. The pitches were very well spaced and laid out, and the fishing pond looked beautiful, although we did not get our lines wet this visit. It is a great base to explore the local villages and area, and we certainly have no reservation in recommending this site. We will be returning in the future.

A very peaceful good site. The wardens are especially warm and friendly people - very caring and helpful. Couldn't fault them.
Shower block extremely clean, may be a bit dated for some but I prefer clean over modern any time. Can be a wait for showers during peak times as only 2 available - so probably best to get there early or late.
Perfect quiet peaceful getting away from it all place. Not the best place for active noisy kids as they probably get bored quickly with the old play equipment! Nothing for teens unless they like fishing - on site lakes available.
Brill cakes in lovely tea rooms over the road. Plenty of everyday shops and takeaways in Diss a few miles away.
Site desperately needs a signpost - kept driving past the lane entrance to the site as no sign to show it was there. Had to find a local to point out entrance.
