We just come back from a weeks stay here, lovely friendly site where owners and wardens were very friendly, and helpful. Nice pitches, husband had a days fishing, but did say it was too easy, lake needs thinning out of fish. Diss few miles away, where there is every shop you would need including take aways. At £25. 50 per night for 2 adults awning and dog not the cheapest site, but nice and clean well looked after site, small lay area for children. We think it could do with a clearer sign locating entrance as you go down between houses off main road, opposite teapot coffee shop sign. We did get nice weather which enhanced our stay, but will be back here for sure.

We have just stayed at Honeypot with a group and were given special dispensation because groups are not usually allowed on the site which was much appreciated. The facilities are second to none, the wardens extremely welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful. There are lots of footpaths directly from the site for walkers, and everything you need on site for those who wish stay put. The site is a wonderful peaceful location, can't recommend it highly enough, we will most certainly be back!

We stumbled upon Honey Pot campsite after a nearby campsite wasn't available. Immediately we were welcomed by the couple who own the site. They were incredibly friendly. The site is so peaceful and idyllic, just what we needed. The shower and toilet blocks were fantastically clean. The few local amenities were fabulous, from the tea room (perfect breakfast) to the local public house (live band 'The Muppets' were brilliant). A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we'll definitely be returning

Just spent 3 nights camping at Honeypot. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay apart from the weather when setting up! Wardens go out of their way to help, are very friendly and appear to be on call at all times. The site is lovely - well established and peaceful. Fishing was plentiful. Fees are very reasonable. Shower block aged but very clean and has everything you need. Probably a site more for adults requiring a peaceful break than for families with active children. We WILL return! Thank you.

We have stayed at the Honeypot over the last 10 years and would thoroughly recommend this site for anyone wanting a rural retreat with stunning scenery and sympathetic planting

The pitches are the most generous we have come across and the facilities and standards of cleanliness are second to none

The site is within easy reach of surrounding villages and the main town Diss has every amenity one could wish for

The owners love of nature is evident in the beautiful landscape and the wardens Paul and Anne are both welcoming and helpful

This was our first visit to Honeypots and on first impressions it a well maintained and tidy site with large pitches, the wardens are very friendly and always on hand to help.

The toilet blocks are dated and small but are keep very clean. The ladies block only had 2 W/C’s and 2 showers, the men’s are a little more generous with 3 W/C’s, 3 urinals and 2 showers and both having 2 wash basins.

The site says it has a play area for kids but the area is very old and dated and in desperate need of updating or removal, our children aged 4 and 8 commented on how old and rusty the equipment was. We also found that the site in general lacked young children and ours were told on 2 occasions not to go near the other pitches when they were playing.

I would not recommend this site to other families with children but would highly recommend it to older couples looking to have a nice restful break.

I was lucky enough to get a last-minute booking here, on account of a cancellation.

The moment we arrived we felt very welcomed by the Smiths. Peter really went out of his way to help us out, lending us an extension cable to be able to hook up to the power supply on our pitch, and letting us use some cutlery when we made the schoolboy error of leaving our own at home.

The facilities are excellent, with lovely clean toilet and shower facilities, and kitchen area and a place to store your cool blocks.

I love the fact that this site feels so pleasant, with the bonus of the lake to walk around. It also reminds me, from camping with my parents as a young boy of how safe campsites are, and how easy it is to just simply let your kids roam free and play with the children of other families.

The location is within easy reach of nearby villages and countryside. I love the mobile chip shop that stops in Wrotham every Friday - cute!

Overall, I cannot recommend this site enough, and will definitely return for another visit.

Just returned from our second visit in 3 weeks to this excellent site.

Right from the moment when you arrive when you are met by wardens you are made to feel most welcome.

The wardens are excellent and couldn't be more helpful. As is Mr Smith, the owner, if you need to know anything locally ask him !

Our pitch in July was excellent, right next to the ornamental lake, and our last pitch next to the fishing lake equally as good.

The whole site is very clean. Toilets and showers, although aging, are kept very clean and there is always plenty of hot water.

You don't need any particular fishing skills to catch here simply because there is an abundance of fish in the lake. Ideal for youngsters learning to fish, not ideal for the experienced angler seeking a new challenge.

Some lovely towns, villages and countryside to explore locally. Eating wise we would recommend The Four Horseshoes at Thornam Magna and the Queens Head at Eye.

Any moans, no not really, I don't think it wants to be anymore expensive, £3 per day for electric is dear, but that's only a minor issue.

One thing I would say though is that its not very well sign posted off the main road.

Its a site we look forward to returning too.

Just got back after spending 3 nights at Honeypot

The wardens cant be any more helpful, they really have your best interests at heart. Always happy and chirpy and a pleasure to met.

Fishing is very easy with the lake full of carp, probably too many in all fairness as you get 1 a chuck. Needs netting and some taken out. £6 a day booked in advance to reserve your peg or £3 for half a day.

Showers very clean and the hot water is free, the showers are electric and takes a while to get the correct temp and are of reasonable power.

2 sinks for you to wash up with again plenty of hot water.

A mixture of caravans, tents and motorhomes but plenty of space with both non EHU and EHU.

Dog owners are in the first field and non dog owner in the field next to the fishing lake.

Not a lot of stuff for the kids (although we didn't have any)

Would go back again.

Had a wonderful time at Honeypot Camp site I went with my 2 children ages 5 and 7 who enjoyed it as much nice quiet site although you do hear the traffic from the main road this did not spoil our stay one bit.

Campsite Warden was lovely and welcoming would definitely return there in the future.

Toilet and shower blocks are clean and up to date with 2 sinks with hot water in the wash up area also very clean.

Small children's play area and a lovely lake for fishing if you are interested.

This site is also very close to post office, larger village play area and pub.
