 Had an amazing stay.

It was so hot and the pool was perfect, my son spent most the day going to and from the pool.

The family whom own the site were so lovely and made sure all social distancing measures were in place.

The site has everything you need, a pool, small park, bar/ restaurant, showers/toilets, washing up facilities and laundry room.

I was there alone with my son and I felt perfectly safe the whole time.

I will 100% be returning with friends, so glad I found this site

Lovely, friendly campsite. Quaint little bar and decent food available.

Pool table in good condition. Outside swimming pool which was a brill extra and perfect for hot weather, not heated so very refreshing!

Hot spacious showers, only a couple in each block, but I didn't have to wait to use them.

Down to earth.

Just returned home after a fantastic stay at waveney caravan and camping site, the owners are brilliant nothing is to much trouble, facilities on site are to a good clean standards there is a bar that serves food on site I recommended the sharing starter platter and the steak the portions are excellent. There is a swimming pool although not heated it's very refreshing on those hot days, pitches are great there are not rows on rows of tourers and tents all pitches are on the outer edge so there is plenty of space for the young ones to run around. The park is small with slide and swings but enough to keep the kids happy the village itself is small but there is a convenience store in the next village that basically sells near enough everything at Diss there are the usual stores for shopping and a wonder around the area you will find shops to suit all. Southwold is worth a visit if you require a beach it stretches for what seems like miles. All in all I would recommend waveney caravan and camping site and I will be re-booking for next year with my daughter and her family

We visited as a family of 5 (with a dog) and were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The owners are very knowledgeable about the local area, very friendly and helpful. We pitched outside the play area so the kids could run off steam, we were the only ones in that field and it was very quiet. There are a number of private statics on site but unless you go to the pub (small but well stocked, serves local cider and offers food - plus bingo on a Sunday!) you don't really see other people. There are two shower blocks - one more modern than the other - they are clean and the water is warm. There's a pool on site which is outdoors and so slightly chilly but the kids enjoyed it. Small shop on site with limited opening hours which we didn't need to use, lots of touristy leaflets available in Reception and a laundry room / washing up facilities if you need them. 45mins to the nearest beach. We really like it here, hopefully will be back!

 Very nice family run site.

We were surprised by how quiet the site was when we arrived at Monday lunchtime, the owners told us that it had been busier at the weekend.

The park hosts people with seasonal statics that spend weekends there.

The site is very clean and well maintained by three generations of the same family.

There is a small shop selling general provisions and a lovely pool that kept the kids happy.

There is also a bar with a jukebox and pool table. Within the bar there is a small restaurant area where you can enjoy a breakfast of evening meal.

We sampled the food on one evening, it was very pleasant.

The park also offers horse riding sessions which was a real treat for the family, not cheap, but a really happy experience.

Overall a very relaxed park in a quiet location that we would return to again if in the area.

We found this site just what we needed for a long weekend. The site was easy to find when following the instructions, the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was open and not overcrowded. My husband was particularly happy with the bar on site and the fact they serve food is handy. The facilities are adequate and clean, and while the hot water doesn't last long if more than one person is showering at a time, it doesn't take long to heat up. We didn't use the pool or the playground but they seemed to be in good repair and the pool was clean and clear.

Sadly they don't do the horse-riding any more, but there is so much to do and see in the area that we really didn't end up with the time.

Stayed with another family for a 2 night break. Very relaxed and peaceful small site.

Toilet / shower block were always clean but very very dated with 2 toilets and 1 shower! Levers to operate shower, shower head not movable so it's face height or nothing! Pool had about 6 inches of water in it, bar was like someone's front room and constantly smelt of greasy chip dryer. Lots of late night karaoke noise from neighbours. Also local pub appears to now be closed so no local pub / food.

We liked this campsite as you can pitch up, leave anytime which suits us. Also there is just a set charge per pitch so no need to work out how much everything costs. Big pitches, with a large empty central space. The kids loved the outdoor pool, more for children than adults. Lovely clean facilities. Nice little bar with pool table. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The travellers in the adjacent field can occasionally be a bit noisy but this didn't bother us. We had a lovely time.

My husband and I love this site. Just home from a 3 night trip with our Jack Russell. Everyone is so relaxed and friendly. We stayed on the back field with an electric hook up. Lots of space for everyone to not be on top of each other. Toilets Showers are all nice and clean, lots of hot water for everyone. Had a few drinks in the bar, again very reasonable prices. We have eaten here a few times and enjoyed it, but the BBQ was put to good use this time.

The owners are hard working, but nothing is too much trouble. Would always recommend a visit to campers or caravaners.

We stayed here for 3 nights over the last May Bank Holiday with another family of 3, so had 4 children aged 4 - 10 between us. We pitched on the non-ehu field next to the ponies which was lovely for the children.

Pitches are level and well drained. The facilities block was nearby which had 2 toilets and 2 showers in each (male and female blocks). There is another, older block next to the bar area.

This site has fantastic staff who really make you feel welcome. They run a small bar which serves food and drink at reasonable prices along with a small shop. You can ask for your child to go on a pony ride which makes for a special visit; I think this was about £15 for half an hour along country lanes.

There is a small play area for children but this is at the front of the site past the caravans near the EHU pitches.

The site is well placed to visit Bressingham Steam which was a fun day out for all of us. We also went to Southwold which is about 40 mins by car.

I'd say this is a good site for families with small children as it's not huge, the staff make you feel welcome and there is plenty of space for games in the centre of the field. It is in a quiet location so got a good nights sleep each night. The only thing to watch out fr is the water in the showers runs a bit hot - but that's much better than being cold!
