 This site was a lifesaver for us as I was given time off work at very short notice and decided that it would be nice to have a break away in our classic van. After phoning nearly twenty sites with no joy (bank holiday weekend) things were not looking good until phoning this site who bent over backwards to fit us in even though they were very busy. The site itself is a very pleasant place to stay with very friendly and helpful owners.The toilets and showers were clean and coped very well with the amount of people on site at the time.The bar and restaurant are a good place to spend the evening talking over the days events with a beer or two and are very kid friendly.
There is plenty of space in the field we stayed in for the kids to play numerous ball games and to make new friends.
We will be definitely going back to this site as it meet all our expectations and was such a nice place to stay it was just a shame we could not stay any longer. Thanks for a lovely time

On the whole this camp site is not too bad, probably a 6-7 out of 10. There are 2 areas for tents, one at each end of the site. the first area is close to the childrens small play arear. The other is at the far end of the field, near the horses.
The horses were a nice touch to this site, and the swimming pool, although small, was great, the water was cold but refreshing.
The down side was that the tent pitches were quite cramped, and you kinda got the feel that you were invading your next text neighbours space, however on the positive side, you all got talking, and as bob hoskins once said, its good to talk.
The showers were clean, but the water was pretty temperamental, either boiling hot, or not working, especially in the womans showers, this goes for the washing up area too. Maybe it was just a bad week, or she did not get the taps right. Ha ha
Would we visit this site again ? well yeah, it was not that bad.

Very pleasant, well maintained site with a fair pricing structure and friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again.
Was surprised to find only four showers (two for the ladies and two for the men) but this didn't cause any problems and no body had to queue when we visited. The showers and toilets were always clean.

Very friendly and informal site. We only camped and didn't use the bar or restaurant so can't comment on those, however, showers/toilets were clean, well kept and suited our needs.
The cockerell going off at 4.00am certainly was an early wake up call though!

We enjoyed our stay on this freindly site, and our dog was more than welcome. We went horse riding which was excellent. The pub was cosy and we had a lovely meal, which was not expensive. They have a new toilet/shower block (very nice and clean) We will be back !
