Arrived safely pitched up very easily, very quiet site except for the bird scarer in the next field behind trees which starts at about 6 in the morning and stops at about 7 at night.
Toilet block had two toilets and two showers, The ladies shower very cold though because of the cubicles being open at the top of the ceiling so the wind if windy blows right through from the camping field.
The camping field very large with plenty of room for games, there is horse riding for those who wish to partake in this.

Only stayed for one night to try out our first caravan, it was anytime on, anytime off which was great. We were met as soon as we stopped in the car park, all the staff were very friendly and more than helpful. The pitch was large on a big open field with plenty of room for the kids to play tennis, football, etc.
There is a pub/restaurant on site with a pool table, very friendly & food very nice, we played bingo in the bar & all the money they took was given out in prizes.
There is a small shop on site but did not use this.
Horse riding was great. Would definitely do it again.
Showers/toilets were very clean, my only complaint was that the shower curtain did not stop the water getting to my clothes hanging on the other side & my shoes ended up with a pool of water in them. Although my husband said this was not the same in the men's showers.
This was a great site, very relaxed we will definitely be going back.

Just returned from another relaxing week on this lovely site. Staff are friendly and helpful, site is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. Made full use of open air pool and horse riding facilities, as well as eating on site a couple of times.
Dickleborough is a couple of miles away and has a very useful shop that stocks most things, or Diss is only a short drive away with Tesco, Morristons, Coop and lots of chariety shops.
Cannot recommend this site enough, reasonably priced, relaxed and away from the madding crowds.

Absolutely fantastic campsite. We telephoned a couple of weeks before we travelled, as wanted to make sure we had a pitch, they said as we were only wanting to stay for a couple of nights in a small tent, we'd be fine.
When we arrived at around 1pm on a Monday, we were greeted at reception by the staff who remembered my phone call and proceeded to walk us up to a pitch in the corner of the field, which was double the size we needed really, I managed to fit my car, tent and awning on it with room to spare. It was £36 for 2 nights which was very reasonably priced for the school holidays.
We used the small pool, which was unheated but very welcome on a hot summers day, also ate in the bar, which served basic, but delicious, food at a decent price.
What struck me most was the incredibly clean and quiet nature of the site, and the incredibly friendly and laid back nature of the staff; when we asked about what time we had to leave, they said just whenever we were ready.
Perfect base for visiting Norfolk, only downside (and it's a small point) is that it is very isolated, which suits some people who just want to relax. We'll definitely be returning for another holiday in the future :D

Received a very friendly welcome and shown all facilities and our pitch, which was a very good size. Toilets/showers kept very clean. Hot water in dishwashing area very slow to run, but not a problem. The pool is unheated, once in, soon acclimatise, we thought a bonus for the fees paid. We enjoyed the half hour horse riding, horses were very well looked after and tame.
Play area could do with a bit of a makeover, but granddaughter enjoyed it.
The shop was very well stocked and prices were very reasonable. We bought a kite, frisbee and a water pistol for only £5. 25!
There was rush to leave and not charged to stay on. Visitors were also welcome at no charge.
Fresh veg sold a short walk away at a private house and a good farm shop for meat and eggs.
We didn't use the bar or eat there, but seemed popular
We will certainly return

This is a small friendly site, the food at the pub is first class, the people that own and run the site are very friendly and helpful. The shower block and toilets are clean but could do with an upgrade. There is a play area for the children which is a bit run down but the kids liked it. The pitches are a good size and they don't mind if you park in a circle as we did with 4 tourers and 1 tent. On the whole for what facilities there are it is very expensive which is a shame.

We booked to stay here over Easter. All contact over phone and on arrival was easy and welcoming.
It is a small site. Has a swimming pool but not out of season. Camping was in a large field very close to toilets and water facilities. Loos were clean and warm not spotless but good enough.
Weather was SNOW ! The bar was nice and food good. They have statics to rent and some static owners so the bar atmosphere was nice mixture of campers and regulars. They have a tiny shop which opens a few hours but they will open it for you if you need something.
We are going back in a few weeks to stay in one of their statics. Good base for Norfolk /Suffolk
+ staff really welcoming helpful and pleasant
- bit tucked away so nowhere in walking distance other than the half moon pub.
Lovely quiet site to use as a base with lovely staff.

Today just got back from this wonderful holiday first time we've been here. Staff really nice when we arrived and showed us where to pitch our tent. The horse riding really nice to do every day and the hours ride told you how to trot.
In the evening really nice in the pub with the jukebox. I felt really safe there as well as I could go down to the park when we feel bored of the habit just sitting there whilst adults drinking some wine or beer.
If you want to walk to park park from the pub is no hassle of the traffic because you can go on the field well away from the road. I will return in the future.

Second visit to this site and we were very pleased once again when we turned up for this years long August weekend break. We were pleased that the toilet/shower black had been modernised to a very good standard. The site itself has all you need for a great holiday. If the weather is bad (which it was on Friday and Saturday morning) there is still plenty to do only a short drive away or you can visit the Pool or on site Pub.
The Pool has also benefited from a makeover with the new cafe offering a good selection of well priced food.
The on site shop has everything you need for a holiday plus it offers a good selection of fishing equipment. We fished from the marina and managed to catch a few fish!
We will definitely be booking for 2012.

Friendly welcome from site owns, with a quick guide around the site showing us the facilities on site and then to the top field were we were camping, the electric hook-ups were pointed out to use and we could choose which pitch to us.
The facilities block near the top field is newer than the one down near the play area, but only has two showers and toilets each side. There is a sign pointing out the busy times when there are used. Besides the damp grass cutting been walked in the facilities were clean.
The wash up has 4 sinks and the water is hot, but the hot water seems to go off after 19. 00 so we used hot water out the toilet block one night.
The pub on site does serve good basic food well cooked and a good mount to fill you up. The pub has two real ales on offer from Adams, plus the normal beer, sprite, wine etc.
My youngest daughter spent a lot of time down at the playground (which is just inside the site) playing with friends that she made.
The swimming pool is un-heated, so even after a not day was very cold with people jumping out as quick as there got in, it was clean in the water and around the edge. It will end up with leaves and bits of tree as these are around the pool.
We done the 1hr horse riding on our last day along with another family, the ride is along the quite country lanes and all abilities are welcome. Our ride lasted just over the hour and we covered about 2 1/2miles on horse back.
The site was kept clean and tidy, with a mix of family groups and couples and a group of cyclist the site was quite. We will visit again sometime in the future.
