We were rather let down by a number of things regarding this site. Firstly the shower block was cleaned in a morning at peak times but an hour later seemed dirty again. Secondly the allocation (or lack of) a proper pitch was extremely poor. We arrived for our electric hook up booking to be shown a space which had a cars width between us and the tents on either side. By the afternoon 3 other tents had been put up in a group with their guy ropes crossing other tents. After 2 very noisy nights these tents were altered around to make 'room' for another 2 tents. I complained (as did a number of other families) about the closeness of the units and the manager came and asked one of the tents to move along to another field even though they had paid for electric. 'Nothing I can do' was his reply. A power cable was then pulled across the field to service this tent. The owner told another family, 'just think of it as Glastonbury!' If I wanted a pitch anywhere site I would have found somewhere else and wouldn't have paid the amount I did.
The noise continued until we left with no action by the owners to ask them to be considerate to other users of the site.
We won't be returning to this site.

Bagnol caravan park is situated off Ravenspoint Road next to trearddur bay beach.
The manager was really helpful when we got there and despite it being peak season made sure we had a nice place to pitch as we have a 10 berth tunnel tent and made sure the cars and tents on the field had order.
The field which is for the tent campers has got lovely features and character on it so it feels like authentic camping and is kept clean and tidy too. It was nice to see staff checking everything is ok and picking up any litter.
There is a food zone for snacks and the site has a footpath which is about 3 or 4 minute walk to the beach.

The site is conveniently placed in Treaddur bay. There are sufficient cafes, pubs and shops nearby that can be reached within walking distance of the site. The touring pitches with electric hook ups were fine. There was plenty of water for washing up and showers but the toilet and shower unit was not kept to a proper standard of cleanliness expected of a modern, fairly expensive site. I will not be using the site again.

Site location good. Walking distance to beach 10 mins. Arrived here to book in, no one in office so just helped ourselves to a pitch on the field. Toilets and showers when we arrived were ok but we did not see anyone attend to the facilities the whole time we were there. Site got busy, crammed, people just pitched anywhere, loud music played all the time, no authority on this site. Showers when busy was a trickle you seemed to be standing in water not finding the plughole. Don't think we shall return as site was expensive and not very organised.

Lovely little spot close to the beach and within easy drive of lots of local attractions. The site is on a gentle slope so it's well drained, it rained a lot whilst we were here and the grass didn't become overly soggy.
Facilities were clean enough, the toilets, showers and washing up facilities are all in a block at the top of the field, plenty of hot water available, and the block was warm despite the fact that there was a sign on the door asking people to shut the door to keep the heat in which no one seemed to be able to read.
Other campers could well have been up all night partying the first night but the noise of the rain on the tent was so loud, we wouldn't have known! The other nights, we heard people until quite late but it didn't disturb us.
There is a pathway from the bottom of the field down to the gorgeous beach, a nice restaurant called The Seacroft and a pub called The London Inn showing Sky Sports within walking distance.

We went for two nights over August Bank Holiday weekend. We booked for two families. The campsite was quite full when we arrived and as there are no designated pitches it felt a bit like we were invading other people's space and also we had to be careful not to put our tent where others would want to drive their cars past! Having said that, there was plenty of space. Some of the spare ground was quite wet from the night before too.
The site itself is lovely. Very relaxed feel. Warm welcome from the owner. Smooth check in. Reasonable price. Walking distance to Treaddur Bay Beach which is a real positive.
Shower block and toilets cleaned daily. Showers were just a dribble one morning, presumably because of the sheer volume of people using them. Washing Up facilities were good. And there was a freezer for freezing ice blocks although we didn't use it. No play area or shop or anything like that but we didn't particularly miss either. Huge Tescos and Morrisons close by (by car) and a spar and costcutter within walking distance. Local pubs within walking distance also although didn't use them.
Overall, a good site and would definitely return.

Took my two children (aged 1 and 3) here and stayed from Wednesday to Saturday, as I was by myself with them the price per night was reduced significantly.
Found the site to be very clean, toilet block with free hot showers always well stocked with toilet paper and soap. Vending machines and washing machines available, however hot drink machine was out of order during our stay, Washing up room also available with 4/5 sinks and draining boards.
Wednesday and Thursday were great on site, however by Friday the site began to fill up and as there are no set pitches everyone was a bit close together, we had someone pitch up next to us that had 4 very small dogs which were let off the leads and kept running towards my children and our tent. Personally, I liked the no-pitch rule when the site was quiet as there were some great little place to go, but when it got busy it became too hectic !
Treardurr Bay itself is a lovely place, the beach and sea are beautiful and there were plenty of people out on boats, my children and I loved it here and although we loved the campsite, we would only return off peak during the week rather than at weekends when it all becomes a bit chaotic !

Our first time out since getting the campervan last week. We knew the weather was going to be windy and wet, but the boys just wanted to go camping.
As for the campsite, we found it to be really good. I was amazed at how clean the toilets and showers are.
The kids loved the play area which is only small and I imagine at peak times it would be very busy.
The beach which is about 5 minutes walk away is truly magnificent with crystal clear water and had we had better weather we would have spent all day on it.
A small building near the rubbish skips which housed the launderette, chemical toilet disposal and the vending machines, where you can buy drinks and snacks.
On the whole a very clean site and a great start to our new life as campers. We will go back again in the summer and hopefully be able to do a spot of fishing.

Been to this site many times now, we love it for the fact it is very close to a fantastic beach, it is dog friendly, and the shower/toilet facilities are great and have always found them clean. We stayed a couple of weeks ago and we had the whole camping pitch to ourselves which was fabulous for the dog and kids!
My husband loves to go fishing and finds it a great place and have on a few occasions been able to eat fresh fish he has caught! Everything is included in the price - showers, freezer packs etc. Only hairdryers and washing machines charged etc as usual.
Only downside is there is no park for the kids which would be great. Will definitely be having more weekends there!

Very disappointed at this visit. Been several times this year and showers and toilets had been very clean and obviously newly refurbished but this time the facilities were dirty and were not cleaned for the 3 days we were there.
The male showers and toilets were closed for repairs and the female showers and toilets were used by either sex.
Must add that this site has usually always proved far superior in every way and I hope that the recent experience will not be repeated.
It has not put us off!
