Stayed here in August. What a lovely place and the people are the same !. Only up the road form all of my fave beaches and Holyhead. Where there are many shops and things!

Everything you could need.

A lovely shower block and toilets !

Couldn't fault it, the kids loved it too.

Well worth a visit, and we will be back very soon !

The camp is very well set out and in beautiful surroundings, there are hand carved animals dotted about all over the place. Which my 3 year old grandson, loved going to see all the time !.

Cant rate this place high enough. A little slice of heaven. :)

If your looking for a jumping place with a club etc. this isnt for you, its beautiful, and a lovely place for family holidays !

Disappointing bank holiday stay. Camped in the tent area with friends having booked many months ago. Pitches were a free for all and units very close together.

Other campers had total disregard for fellow campers, music booming in the not so early hours ie 2am, foul language, partying and no sign of ANY security/night patrols. Most sites we have stayed on have a 'no noise after 11pm' rule which is enforced by on site staff/night patrols. We are all for a good time and enjoy the crack but we had minimal sleep and in the end left early.

The site itself is well located for Trearddur Bay. It is a hilly site exposed to the wind. The modern toilet/shower blocks are wooden lodges, spacious and look fairly new, however, they are massively let down by the poor water pressure.

The showers are literally a trickle, one member of our party gave up and re-dressed! The knock on effect is that the toilets won't flush properly so not a pleasant experience. SO many people could be heard complaining about the water pressure and a member of staff we spoke to confirmed it as a problem.

It is a real shame because this could be a great site for campers with a little more organisation and a noise curfew.

We camp often and have visited many sites, sadly this is one we will not be returning to which is a shame as Trearddur Bay is lovely.

Unfortunately, we visited this site on a Bank Holiday weekend. It was a free for all, people can just turn up and pitch, as many as possible are crammed in.

Showers busy and dirty, one morning we found someone had used the shower as a toilet. No rules about late night noise and don't bother mentioning to staff, they won't do anything about it. Never again!

We have visited before outside peak time and it was a different story, hardly anyone on site.

Anglesey itself is a great island, we return year after year. Site located close enough to the popular Trearrdur Bay.

We went on a school group camping trip to Bagnol last weekend. And had the best time ever! There were 35 of us in total including children and dogs, and really struggled to find a camp to accept us all!

The person we spoke to on the phone to book was very helpful, and the reception staff on the day we arrived were great. Full of knowledge of the area etc.

Our group had 2 tents that needed electrical hook ups and this wasn't a problem. The remaining tents set up camp in the second field which was very safe for the children and dogs.

The showers/washing up facilities/toilets were immaculate. With unlimited hot water.

We were allowed a camp fire (which is a must with children and marshmallows!) and bbq's.

Within easy reach of the beach which was clean with a great pub and a few shops close by. We stopped off at the spar on the way back to camp and found them to be very expensive.

Cant recommend this site enough. We'll definitely be going back soon :o)

I stayed here with my partner end of may, beginning of June 2011. 1st time we have been and only our 2nd camping trip so didn't really know what to expect. We got there, the guy in reception was great and regularly seen round the camp site of an evening, the campsite itself is in a beautiful location, not a million miles from the beach, shops and restaurant (tesco about 5 mins drive) the (male) showers and toilets where clean all the time and water a nice temp. I will go here again an would highly recommend it to anyone. While I was there prices were as follows

Caravan - 2 people with electric £23

Caravan _ 2 people & 2 children with electric £26

Motorhome - 2 people with electric £23

Trailer tent - 2 people with electric £23

Tent - 2 people with car £16

Extra adult £8

children £4

teenagers £5

Electric per night £3

We stayed here for 2 nights as love the area. The site is basic and on our arrival we found quite a few empty plastic bottles which were dotted around on the grass, and were still there when we left. The toilets and showers could have been really nice, if they had been cleaned on a regular basis.

The area is lovely, and there is a field you can walk through to lovely beaches and the local pub/restaurant. Nice trip to South Stack. Very windy location (or it was whilst we were there)

Just returned from another successful camping trip to Bagnol. We have been using this campsite for the last few years and visit 2 or 3 times a year, with a group of friends.

We find the facilities to be excellent, and location is great, as most things are within walking distance. There is access through a field which takes you down to two small bays, or a little walk further along Ravenspoint Road takes you to the main beach.

The campsite is safe for our children to run around freely, and the toilets are always clean and warm. Since last year, the shower block has been improved, and more cubicles have been added with space to put your towel & clothes so they don't get wet.

Overall fantastic campsite, and we'll be visiting later in the year!

Positives: Fantastic location, close to many many lovely coves and gorgeous beaches. Nice evening walks, close to main supermarkets and a short drive to a lovely harbour area. Free showers, great location for caravanners too (we felt the site was geared up more for caravans and the two small tent fields were an 'after thought'. Free ice block freezing facility, always someone in at reception. Reasonable price for tent pitch.

Negatives: Asked the owner a few questions about the local area and best place to go fishing, he replied 'anywhere'! The showers were smelly, dirty water left under wooden boards you stand on when getting out of the shower. There was no hand soap in the ladies many times, none at all (no pump even) in the Disabled loo) despite myself asking the cleaner to re-fill them!.

The 2 hairdryers were 20p but poor quality and only 1 with a tiny mirror stuck on it. No plug sockets in the ladies for hairdryers / straighteners. (There were plug sockets only in the pot washing room ) No noise curfew, noisy at night past midnight and early mornings too. Only 1 water tap in the 2 tent fields, a walk away from most tents. The tent fields are uneven and space is limited

BUT. Overall a fab fab location, site was 'ok' (I would visit again now I know what to expect) No need to take food as Tescos & Morrisons nearby. We had fab weather so makes all the difference and if everyone cleaned up after pot washing, showering and using the toilet then we'd all be happier, surely no-one likes to find a dirty shower or sink

The shower block is definitely not modern and not as clean as it could be (closed twice a day for half an hour each time to be cleaned so no excuses) A reasonable site with fair tariffs. Can't wait to go back to Trearrdur Bay too.!

This site is excellent. Very clean, spacious toilet/ shower block. Temperature controls on shower were best I've seen neither too hot, nor too cold as can sometimes be the case!

We stayed in a tent and had lovely neighbours that were quiet enough when the sun went down and the children had plenty of safe places to 'explore' without getting too muddy. Very reasonably priced.

Most convenient setting for this camp site, close to 2 small coves at Porth Diana and Trearddur Bay for rock pooling, paddling and water sports, Porth Diana hosts local sailing club events; very enjoyable to watch. All within walking distance either by road or over the fields. The natives are friendly too and nothing is too much trouble for them.

The camp site is kept clean and tidy, staff are friendly and have excellent knowledge of what's going on in the area, take their advice, they really know their stuff. The shower blocks are newly refurbished and although the toilets and sink areas are kept immaculate, the showers desperately need some cream cleaner and a scrub. I appreciate that we visited in August, towards the end of the high season but this should be a priority also to keep the showers as clean as the loo's. That's my only negative comment but will not stop us returning. Just be sure to take an extra towel to stand on when you get out of the shower.

Also within 15 minutes drive at Holyhead are bigger shops such as Tesco, Morrisons and Wilkinsons but try to shop locally to get even more knowledge of what's happening. We had a great 4 night's there desite gale force winds, oh and thanks to Delta pegs, we were one of the few tents left standing after a dreadful night of 'weather.' Highly recommend this site for families with kids who prefer not to be spending money all day but make the most of the beaches and locality.
