We stayed for 3 nights, 2 tents 2x 16 year old girls and myself Dad! There was a good mix on the camping site young groups & families. The fields where done I felt very well, so have a good look for your pitch as you may just miss a good spot around the corner!
The facilities where very good, and the showers you could get 2-3 people in them not that I did! Very nice, warm and clean, and spacious, The fields where very tidy, and, there was plenty of space for every one. No strict parking rules, and no strict tent rules. I would recommend and return no problem.
The hotel pub in the bay was good food, and very nice. Beaches were great to explore, and plenty of walking if you wish. The south stack is worth a visit. For those who cannot be parted from Tescos for long its in Holyhead about 15 min drive from the camp !

We have just returned from this site and have had a lovely stay. The staff in the reception were really nice and helpful with info on coastal walks and the surrounding area (and the weather!), and we found the shower and toilet facilities to be very good for the size of the site, very clean and well kept.
The site is well placed, a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach (5 - 10 minutes) from the main beach area and the coast here is stunning. The beaches are safe and waters beautifully clear.
There are places to eat nearby - the Trearddur Bay Hotel restaurant offers fantastic food, very well priced with excellent service. The Inn at the Bay is a friendly pub (also offers food but we didn't eat here) at the Trearddur Bay hotel and we also ate at the nearby Waterfront pub which offers a good lunchtime and evening menu reasonably priced and good quality.
Also in the area is the White Eagle in Rhoscolyn, we didn't eat here but checked out the menu and again looked very good and reasonably priced we will be going on our next visit, as we will the Lobster Pot in Church Bay (seafood restaurant, local lobster, crabs and sea fayre - reasonable prices for the food they offer).
A visit to South Stack and it's fantastic scenery is a must (I defy you not to have the Coast programmes theme tune in your head here!) - plus there's lots and lots to do just a short drive from his lovely site, from castles, to sea museums, to windmills and beautiful coves.
Enjoy! We will be returning very soon!

Lovely camp site, the toilets and showers were very clean no charge for use of showers or to wash up. 20p for hair dryer. Nothing on the site, buts thats what we wanted. The beach is beautiful only a short walk away, I can imagine in the summer it must get packed. Local shops a drive away which sell everything.

We went this site on the bank holiday weekend,we didn't book so didn't think we would get on, but they squeezed us on in 2 big tents on one small pitch, this was 7 o'clock Friday night, and they carried on letting people on all through the weekend, when there was clearly no room.We had to move people to get our car on the site, they were pitching tents on the dirt track road. The showers stopped working properly by sat afternoon, only one worked in the men's,which meant massive ques. The place is probably OK when not so full but cannot cope with that many tents(hundreds). The beaches here are fantastic, loads of little coves to explore, and loads of critters in the sea.

This is a lovely, clean campsite.
The facilities block (situated a short walk from the camping field) is made up of washing up and toilet facilities which were very clean and spacious. Also available in the toilets were hairdryers. Two large sinks in the washing up room which was also very clean.
There was also a 'food house'. This was a single room housing vending machines selling crisps, chocolate, hot & cold drinks.
This place gets very busy in the summer months. Just come back .Great location if you like to go fishing lot of local places to fish. Nice beach close to site, the local pub is very good for food and drink. Will be going back

I might even camp there myself one day! LOL

We stayed at this Camp Site Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Whilst the camping field is large, this soon filled up - arrive early if planning to go of a bank holiday weekend. There is nothing on the site, but the toilet/shower block is relatively new and very clean, however the showers are not very powerful (avoid early morning rush as the water simply runs down the wall - impossible to wash hair !). There is a washing up area which is fine and you are able to leave your ice packs in the freezer at the back of the reception for a small donation to the LifeBoats. We felt that the showering facilities should have been a bit better, especially having regard to the amount of people they allowed onto the site and the cost per person, per night.

We stayed here for two nights the last weekend of April 2007, the camping fields were quite large with a public footpath running through them, usually used by dog walkers who don't appear to carry plastic bags if you get what I mean, I'd recommend inspection of your pitch before you set up so as not to pitch on something nasty The facilities were modern clean and functional, good hot showers and the toilets and washing facilities were very good, there was a washing up room with only two sinks but not a problem as there were only around 15 tents on site at the time Within walking distance of local beaches and all you need in Trearddur bay, which is a little further, including pubs, shops etc, Spar and Londis shops sell just about anything, the Spar has a fishing tackle shop inside, very little in the way of attractions but ideal for a laid back family beach holiday
