We visited this campsite for a second time during a bank holiday weekend and were pretty disappointed. The showers weren’t cleaned the whole weekend. The pressure in all 4 showers was poor – just a trickle, and because the campsite was so crowded you had to queue for about 15 minutes to get a shower. One of the toilets was leaking too and this spilled out into the middle of the shower/toilet block floor.
It was very noisy too, with screaming children running around at 7.30am on Sunday morning. The location’s still this campsite’s best point. I’d avoid Bank Hols if I were you.

Gutted to have to leave-sadly schooling the children seems to be a legal requirement! We only intended to stay for 2 nights, then tour around, but we loved the place so much that we ended up staying for a fortnight.
Yes,the management are very relaxed about choosing your own pitch-but we viewed this as a bonus. This site is so relaxed and friendly that you instantly feel more relaxed yourselves. The toilets were cleaned regularly. We didn't use the showers, but they were nice and clean.
The site is a 5 min walk from some lovely beaches. There is a Spar about a mile or so away, and Tesco and Morrisons are only a 5 min drive away at Holyhead. Treardur bay is a very quiet, family beach holiday type of place.-We felt like we had gone back in time to our own childhoods-rock pooling, crabbing, ice creams etc
We had a wonderful time there, everyone was really welcoming-we cant wait to go back!
The only gripe I could find-and it is only a tiny one,is that there is no playground, but,as we were there in August, there were plenty of other children there to make friends with our 2

This site was ok, clean shower block and washing room. There was no shop on site but a room with vending machines for snacks and drinks.
Was not impressed with the camping field, it was uneven slanty and bunpy and and there was little space between tents,(our neighbours went out for the day and someone pitched where their car had been) I wondered when the owners stated they were fully booked!
Location is good just a few mins from the beautiful bay area and there is a great pub the seacroft along the way. The food looked great in there too. A few mins further down the road brought you to the main beach area and a few general shops.
Ps beware of the high winds at night!

A well kept site very clean toilets well stocked with loo roll.
When we arrived we were told to go find our own spot, so went to find our friends that were there before us.
The only thing I would say that it is a pity the park has not got porta loo's around the site,we were at the far end of the field so it was quite a walk for the loo.
Very good pitches with lots of e/u well kept well light up at night.
Will go back to this site but next time will pitch closer to the loo's.

Just turned up at this site on Friday morning. Lots of space to choose from. But not if you have EHU. Only a few hook ups and a let down by the fact the staff allow others to pitch up on them even if they are not using them! We paid and then just managed to throw cable over hedge to reach pitch in next field. Next family that arrived with EHU had to squash into a really small spot with a big tent! Right on the road with 2 small children.
That was our only complaint. The rest of the site was great. Lots arrived for the weekend but lots of room around to spread out. Toilets and showers spotless all weekend, same with washing up sinks. The walk through the fields not signed posted we followed others takes 5 mins to 1st beach. Also 15 min walk with kids to 2 shops and pubs restaurant etc.

Just got back from bagnol camp site, very impressed as we drove along the road approaching the camp site, beautiful scenery, little sandy coves and bays, arrived at booking office to pay for our pitch, very friendly helpful staff. Camping field as expected just an average camping field, toilet block was ok, with plenty of toilet cubicles but only 4 shower cubicles which were not the best of cleanliness but if you want 5 star facilities then book into a 5 star hotel. We found it best to use the showers in the evening after everyone had used them who were going to the pub, we took our own beer and wine so we didn't need the pub.
The beautiful beaches were a short walk across a field and down a little track. There was a room with two large sinks with free hot water to wash dishes but sometimes there were little queues, again we found it better to wait until the evening to wash up when most people had gone out for the evening. There was a laundry room with washers and dryers but we didn't use them as we were only there for the weekend.

We've just returned from bagnol, and to be honest I didn't want to. The site is clean and set in beautiful surroundings. It got really busy at the weekend and the queue for the showers was about 3 deep when you did get in the water was just a trickle down the wall, at busy times your better waiting 'till afternoon. That is the only fault.
An unexpected bonus was the free wifi connection in the reception area for you to check mail etc.We stayed in the touring area and we could basically pick where we wanted. A couple of rainy days but mostly it was beautiful. There's a morrisons and tesco in holyhead. A pub that does meals not far from the site but we thought it was expensive. The walks around the site are great. We're not the fittest and we went to the south stack, what a walk! Again well worth it though. All in all a great site to visit nice and quiet even when busy.

Have to say you wont be disappointed with this site the scenery was breathtaking the facilities and cleanliness was spot on. Holyhead is just 3.5 miles away which was great for fishing and shopping. There is a spa shop is just down the road which also has a great fishing shop in it where you can get your bait if you are fishing from the rocks in the bay. Would definitely return to this site.

The site has a large number of static caravans and a touring/camping field. Overall the site is maintained to a very high standard, the facilities are spotless and the grounds are kept very neat and tidy.
The location is right next to Treaddur Bay with a little cut through to the beach and is close to the Seacroft pub which serves good food.
A great site and will definitely go back.

The reception at Bagnols is warm and welcoming, and you can choose your own pitch on the field. Unfortunately the ground is not very level and the pitches seem to be close together.
On the plus side the ablution block is very clean and well maintained. There is a laundry facility and a room housing vending machines and a microwave.
Dogs are welcome on the tent field.
There is easy access via footpath from the campsite to the beautiful sandy coves close by (and a shop selling beach goods and ices, as well as a bar / restaurant) and a 15 minute walk to the main beach. The coves and main beach provide excellent water sport grounds.
Small grocery/newsagents shops close to the main beach with major supermarkets a 10 minute drive away.
It's an ideal site for all which we highly recommend.
