When I booked at Bagnol, I booked 2 electric pitches together, and if at all possible close to the facilities. The week before our holiday I emailed the campsite to confirm our arrangements and to ensure that my family and my friends family would be next to each other. I received an email back immediately to tell me that yes there would be no problem in us being together. I was happy and looking forward to our stay.
Upon arrival the place was packed and there was only one space available and my friend had to wait whilst another family packed away but this was 5 pitches away so I was not impressed. We had booked 10 nights and planned our set up with us being side by side sharing 2 pitches. When I spoke to the owner he said people just haven't left. There is no allocation of pitches just pitch where you can.
Just one last point is that it is a big site and they only have one set of facilities and from where our pitches were this was a good 5 minute walk. The toilets and showers were always clean but very few had working locks on the doors and one of the showers did not lock either so there was a lot of singing in the shower.
On a plus note the location is breath taking, the scenery just goes on and on. 3 miles down the road is Tesco, Farmfoods, Morrisons, Wilko's, Argos and much more and there is a Chinese and Indian Takeaway which delivers to the site.
There is lots to do and the kids loved it, they made so many friends on the site and the beach was brilliant for crabbing and fishing which cost £1.10 for a line then a little bait and you have a day that costs nothing but kids love it.

We arrived to gales and rain and as it was Thursday we pitched where we wanted. Friday brought out the weekend campers and boy did we know it! No noise restrictions in place so kids, music and dogs until well after midnight then woke to music at 7.30am!
Toilets and showers need locks on doors and to be properly maintained, not the owners fault if other people are so inconsiderate to leave paper all over the floors
Surrounding area, can't fault it. Shops nearby and the bay is beautiful and well worth a visit
The owners were very helpful and they do freeze ice pack if needed

We have never been to Anglesey before despite practically living in North Wales for our holidays every year for yonks and what a beautiful surprise, totally totally stunning place. The beaches are just fabulous, the shops are really reasonable, the locals are very friendly.
This campsite really is only 5 minutes walk from a gorgeous beach where we took our lads crabbing and watched the most stunning sunsets you will ever see.
This campsite isn't the cheapest I've stayed at, our party was 2 adults & 2 kids - it was £22 per night + £3 EHU (first time we tried it but only used it for the electric cool box so wasn't really worth it, won't bother again), it was an unmarked field, so we bagged ourselves a nice little corner, because of the weather (roasting hot), the campsite did fill up, but even then it wasn't too full on our field (the touring caravan field did look a bit full tho).
Would definitely recommend, super clean facilities, nice, efficient staff, kids had a ball, can't wait to go back :)

Arrived at the friendly reception desk. Directed as to where tents can go. However, there was not enough electric hook up plots, but this was not a problem as we where told we could go onto the tourers section.
We loved this park, everyone was very friendly including the staff. Toilets and showers where clean and tidy, the did get busy, but it's expected. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant and the beaches and coves where idyllic.
There is a small play area for the children and I didn't mind letting my son go off and find new friends as the site gave a secure feeling and friendly feeling too.
We where thrilled to see the RAF training as well as hearing them, the noise was not a problem for us but might be for some and they didn't start till 8.30am.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. We had the best of the weather too!,

We were told just to turn up but the owner remembered our conversation via phone anyway. The site was clean and well kept. Toilets were spotless.
Close to all local shops and the coves were a 5 min walk. Small play ground for the kids which is good.
Only down fall about the site is it could do with a small shop for people like us who didn't have a car to go to the larger shops. We will be returning very soon and possibly make this our regular weekend get away we enjoyed it that much

Fantastic site. Stayed here for 4 nights and didn't want to leave! Booked in and we were told exactly where toilets and showers were located. Pitched in electric hook up field behind loo / shower block. Could be cramped if busy but we arrived on bank holiday monday so people had left and had a choice of where to pitch.
Ladies toilets are best I have seen yet, very clean and were cleaned regularly and stocked up with loo roll. Showers are free and hot and are good. 8ish sinks. Same sort of thing in the mens too! 2 coin operated (20p) hairdryers. No plug sockets for hair straighteners!
10 minute walk to small coves and main beach. 10 minute walk to nice pub/restaurant which served very nice food at reasonable prices. Can recommend the beer battered fish and chips! Tesco, Morrisons, Farm foods 10 minute drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

Just returned from 3 nights, weather very hot, beach nearby just a short walk from campsite. Campsite great not to much noise.
Dont bother to pack any food there is tesco, morrisons, farmfoods about 10mins down the road. Big bag of ice 1 pound at farm foods chills the beer oh and some pop.
Shower / washroom clean plenty of hot water all day. If you want ehu on tent pitches I would advise to book and turn up early to get good spot.

We stayed here over the last May Bank holiday weekend and enjoyed it. We arrived on the friday afternoon and met the owner who has a very dry sense of humour! We were told roughly were to pitch which was okay because they were not busy at that time. However as the weekend went on the site became extremely busy!
The fields have good drainage and a very slight incline which was not that noticable. We did not have electric hook up which I am glad because the area for those with hook ups was very cramped.
The facilities were clearly sign posted and were of a good standard with hot showers. There were two hairdriers in the ladies with 1 in the mens taking 20p per go. The washing up facilities have two big sinks with ample space to wash and dry your pots and pans. Due to the amount of people these facilities were busy with people queing for showers and washing facilities. This is only to be expected on a busy popular site over a bank holiday that had good weather! The facilities were cleaned quite regular.
By the monday the site had gone very quiet with the majority of campers going back home so we decided to stay another night. The site is situated 2 minutes walk from 2 excellent coves, 5 minutes walk from an excellent pub and 10 minutes walk from the main beach at Trearddur Bay which has to be one of the best beaches in this country.
My only gripe is because there were a lot of people who use this site for scuba diving and other water sports the site would benefit from some outside shower facilities so these people could rinse their wet suits there and not in the main shower area. All in all a wonderful break and would definitely come back here again.

The site seems very nice and there was plenty of room when I visited. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The campsite is within walking distance of a couple of local shops and the beach.
My only gripe was that the staff member / owner was rather abrupt and didn't really provide much information about the site, only the location of the toilets and an instruction to 'pitch where you like'. I had to locate things like the dish washing area and bins myself.

This is a lovely campsite and the shower/ toilet/ washing up facilities are very clean. Local pubs a 10 minute walk away. Beach nearer - just 5 minutes away. Owners really friendly and helpful.
The White Eagle pub is nearby and this is fantastic. Food is superb and it has a stunning outdoor eating area on the balcony, complete with views. Well worth a visit and there's no problem taking the dog (n the balcony at least - was glorious weather so we ate outside).
