Decided to try out this site in St. Andrews as we had heard of it but never stayed.
What a wonderful and very pleasant surprise it was!
The site staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The site itself was immaculate and well run with a very thorough and regular cleaning regime.
Pitch sizes are generous and more than adequate.
We were lucky enough to have a fully serviced pitch with ample room for awning and car.
Cairnsmill has good on site entertainment and bar prices are very reasonable.
We had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back next year.

Great site
All the pitches appear to be super pitches
Reception very friendly great facilities
Even has an on-site pool /bar and fishing pond stocked with rainbow trout.
Only a short walk into ST Andrews either by road or the path following the stream from the fishing pond.

Possibly the best campsite we have stayed at in years! Extremely well run and very clean facilities.
Great swimming pool and jacuzzi. Number plate recognition barrier. Some have complained about close proximity to a main road, but trees block out most of noise from passing traffic, which isn't very busy into the night.
Great for trips to St. Andrew's, Edinburgh castle and Dundee over Tay Road Bridge.
Very friendly staff.
Thanks for a lovely stay.
Stopped on a Hard standing area with electric hook up and water adjacent to pitch.
Very well thought out site catering for all age groups.
Would definitely recommend this site.

Very clean site, toilets were immaculate and cleaned regularly. The bar was very spacious with seating outside.
The prices were very reasonable. Handy for St. Andrews and for surrounding area. Great dog walk down by a small lake.
Mainly residential caravans but plenty of touring pitches. Most with electric and water on the pitch and very reasonably priced.
Only niggle was we were sited on number E1 pitch which is close to a busy road, but we got used to the noise.
Well stocked shop on site and overall a good experience.

Site was very tidy, clean and well kept. Facility block had two lovely big showers and was very clean.
We had a drink at the large bar, reasonably priced.
We didn't use the swimming pool. There is some noise from the road but it didn't spoil our sleep.
Overall it was very comfortable.
About 30 mins walk to the centre of town, along the pavement. Supermarkets are about 10 mins walk.
