Stayed here over the weekend for a short break with friends, arrived to given our pitches close to the facilities and bar which was a bonus.
The showers and toilets are spotless and quite central to the site. The bar and reception in the same central position, plenty of room and playground for the younger kids to play on close by the bar so everyone can relax.
Bakewell is a short walk away which is amust and a lovely place to spend the afternoon.
All in all well worth a stay at this lovely site.

Lovely flat pitch. Efficient check in, good facilities on site.
Very convenient for Bakewell, Aldi less than 1 km away!
Great pizza van on Friday night.
Busy, lively site but quiet at night. Loved it!

Lovely site, nice staff, well kept, clean and heated toilet and shower block.
Kids enjoyed the playground and games room.
The on-site bar was spot on and it’s a lovely stroll to Ashford in the Water.
Perfect location for exploring the Peaks,
We’d happily stay here again.

Campsite was well looked after and clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful. A good site to stay on to explore Bakewell.
We got lost so arrived late but the site rang to check and let us know what pitch to go on. Nothing seemed too much for them and there was plenty of information of local places to visit.
The Monsal Trail is a must so much history to explore.

Nice sized level plots. We stayed mid week and fairly quiet but became busier as we were leaving Dog friendly with secure dog walk Shower block clean and well maintained.
Walk to Ashfiord on the water took 30 minutes and shops closed and one pub/ with restaurant closed. Walk into Bakewell along main road took 30 minutes with lots of dog friendly pubs.
No admission for new arrivals until 13. 00 as barrier gate down.

Very Professional Campsite - Very Popular on the weekend we stayed -
The site is a mixture of Static Holiday Units / Touring Caravans -
Grass and Hardstand with EHU & Non EHU Pitches available -
The Shower and Toilet facilities are modern & clean -
Small Site shop doubles as the site reception with "The Stables Bar" attached at the side
Saturday Night sees the arrival of a mobile pizza vendor "The Cavendish Kitchen Wood Fired Pizza" which I strongly recommend as that was the most tasty pizza I've eaten
We will definitely plan a return visit

The site is very clean with large pitches
I felt it needed more showers and toilets for the size of the site.
There are 2 large tent fields.
Also there is a small bar on site
