Easy to find the site that is well located - being close to a Lidl supermarket, a few hundred yards from The Dolphin Hotel (a basic but perfectly adequate pub) and about 10 minute walk to the beginning of the promenade - a reasonably long walk to town from there.
We found the staff pleasant and helpful.
The toilets weren't yet open but all other facilities were well maintained.

Chose this site for the bank holiday weekend for a few reasons, firstly an easier route for us down the A12 than across the Dartford crossing on a bank holiday weekend, secondly we wanted somewhere we could ride our bikes easily, so a long flat promenade and the ferry over to Harwich/Dover-court, were ideal.
The touring field was good with just caravans and motorhomes, if they allow tents back to camp down the middle of the field in-between, don't think I would go back, the space would be restricted too much. Facilities shut due to covid, no problem use our own all the time anyway and wash up area shut off.
Lidl store next door, within walking distance is handy. Cycle ride about 10 minutes to the sea front.
Ferry to Harwich with cycles £6 each way, guys help with getting the bikes on and off.
Rode in the other direction towards Bawdsey and the small foot ferry, The Ferry Inn pub looked good but we didn't use, table bookings were needed re covid.
Took a walk through the back gate of site, small wooded area that led to a Lidl in either direction, nothing fantastic really.
Only gave the site a 5/10 for value as we paid £99 for bank hol weekend which I think is steep, especially as their normal prices were fine with £20. 50 a night with ehu and a £2 reduction if mon-thurs booking.
Lots of statics occupied, very friendly people always with a morning greeting to the tourers was nice.

Stayed for a couple of nights just after restrictions has lifted a little. Toilets and showers are still closed due to this, however we were aware and this did not matter as we are self sufficient.
Nice clean site. Large grass pitches although there are some hard standing available.
Ideal for a stroll to the seafront which takes about 10mins.
Pubs shops chippy etc all in walking distance.
Would visit again.

Fabulous relaxed, clean friendly campsite.
Easy access to seafront, town centre and local shops.
Clean toilet facilities and felt extremely happy with the Covid safe guidance regs.
Lots of lovely things to see ie fabulous fish pond and Bird Avairy.

Friendly efficient reception. Smart & clean facilities. Sheltered, secure, well placed location 10 mins to town/beach & fort/docks.
Ok for cycling but rear gate exit does involve some walking & fairly steep path but only 5 mins.

Pleasant, well maintained site with nicely spaced hard standings and electrical hookups.
Friendly and helpful staff to greet you on arrival and available if needed. Conveniently positioned, clean facilities.
Great value for money - would definitely recommend to others and visit again.

The field was flat with designated fresh water and adjacent grey waste with independent chemical dispoal point which were all kept to a high standard which the toilets and showers were immaculate and kept clean on a regular basis.
The campsite location is handy which is not too far from the sea front but also has ample of free parking on the sea front and can recommend the Fish & Chip shop on the corner which were the cheapest at just a fiver for fish and chips which were very tasty.
There is a Lidl supermarket nearby plus a a small Tesco in the town. However, a new Aldi supermarket had just opened up only a week before which is not too far by car but it was jam packed with shoppers when went and couldn't park the car.
There is a little noise from the docks on occasions but not too intrusive to spoil the tranquillity of the place in general which we hope to return to Peewit Caravan Park again next year.

Friendly reception, well kept site with toilets and showers that look recently refurbished and kept nice and clean.
Site is a few minutes walk from the beach and within walking distance of the viewing area for the Port of Felixstowe.
There is a Lidl almost next door to the site entrance.
Overall a good site with reasonable prices and in a great location.

A really lovely site a short walk from the seafront via a back gate and footpath from the site or via the main road, yes you do hear some noise from the port but it fades into the background.
The site has spotless toilet/shower facilities love the music playing while having a shower and plenty of water and grey water points. The staff are polite, chatty and very helpful and the whole site is neat and tidy and its clear everyone takes a pride in their static plots as there`s some lovely gardens and its well worth having a wander round. Good dog walking area, it seems very dog friendly.
There`s some play equipment which is one end of the touring field, there are hook ups close to this area so be aware it can get noisy and busy in school holidays but as small people had gone back to school we had a quiet pitch in the corner of the field under some trees. Added bonus is a supermarket and McDonalds within a 2min. Walk, heaven for those of us that like a quarter pounder with cheese and a McFlurry !
See you again soon.
