Been here many times now, can't really fault anything except some slight noise from the docks. Handy for the beach, town and the Lidl, all accessed easily via the rear coded gate.
The new pier development has a nice café/bar called the Boardwalk doing food and some Adnams real ales. Handy for the bus stop to Ipswich also, by the Lidl. Thought it very cheap £16/night at mid-week rate.

We use this site quite regularly, as we have family living in Felixstowe (and used to live there ourselves). This is one of the nicest sites we have stayed on, the shower/ toilet block is always clean and warm, and plenty of space/ hooks/ grab rails in the showers as well as lots of hot water.
There is free wifi but you need to be near reception to pick up the signal.
Felixstowe seafront is lovely on a summers day, and at present they are doing a huge re-development of the pier.
This is a gem of a site.

Another GEM. Lovely friendly staff who care about what they are doing.
Site is lovely, quite small so check before you turn up as I'm sure it must be booked up a lot of the time. We stayed Saturday to Monday, not really enough time to do anything(next trip will be for longer)drive was brilliant as the site is just off the A14- couldn't be easier!
Grass pitches are all flat, toilets and showers are spotless, even the other campers are friendly, offering help to put up a friends awning.
Yes macdonalds is 2mins away. Aldi is a short walk and morrisons a 5 minute drive. The beach is close by, we went to see the arts festival on the sunday- it went on for miles (so it seemed) cant wait to book again!

A gem of a campsite the people who run this have it pretty much perfect a warm welcome a waits you by how can we say a slightly older generation!
Pitches are pretty much flat all are on grass apart a couple of hard standing slight gripe is at really busy times they pitch vans in the middle which make access in and out sometimes slightly tight.
Shower block was clean the whole time we were there nice having the washrooms as well no shop on site but a aldi is only 5-10 minute walk although the reception does sell milk and ice creams.
Felixstowe's sea front is only ten minutes from site as well

Peewit Caravan Park is situated just off the first roundabout as you come into Felixstowe just passed Mc Donalds on the left Walton Avenue about 10 mins walk to the Sea Front.
You enter Peewit along a drive of about 200 yards or so as you pass the barrier you pull over and go over to the office to book in and a member of staff will see you on to your pitch. The pitches here are fairly flat so not too much trouble to level up. Pitches are of ample size. Toilets and water close at hand and the toilets have just been refurbished to a very high standard.
The back gate to this site will take you up to Lidls. Its not too far to walk into town from here but not good if you want to carry shopping. There is a Morrisons in Felixstowe but if you have never been before its a good idea to get directions from the office.
I have been coming to Peewit for 11 years now and always made welcome the staff here are really helpful. The groundsmen Terry and Dave always ready to lend a hand if you have a problem. This is a gem of a site.

Have just spend 2 nights at this great touring and static park. The welcome was warm and friendly they were very helpful nothing seemed to much trouble.
The pitch was level and the toilet block had been recently refurbished to a high standard. Great park within walking distance of felixstowe town. We will definitely be returning easy acess just off the A14.

This site was easy to find being straight off the roundabout and the first on the left although we managed to miss it (!) but it was easy to turn around along the road once we'd realised this.
First impressions was that it was a HUGE site with lots of mobile homes on it and caravans and we thought it might be noisy but once you drove up the long entrance to the site it was very quiet.
The motorhomes and caravans park on a large flat grassed area and we did feel a little crammed in - the site owner said that it was unusually busy for that time of year - but it was very quiet of a night-time and the other campers were very friendly.
We needed an extra long EHU cable to reach the plug point which the site owners kindly loaned us (thank you!) and another camper helped us put the lead safely down the side of their awning so no-one fell over it!
Dogs are allowed but must be kept on the lead all the time and were free of charge but it wasn't a problem.
At the far end of the grassed area was the children's play area and most of the campers there were families so it was quite noisy of a day-time but quiet of a night.
The toilet/shower block was clean and free to use and the shower cubicles were big enough to hold a small party in! A £10 refundable deposit was compulsory to have a key to use the toilets and showers which was fine. There is a separate wash-up area but you have to pay for hot water.
At the far end of the site is a gate with code entry lock so you can walk into the town from there which was handy. We walked into town on our first night and along the sea front to the chip shop that was highly recommended. Judging by how busy it was they weren't wrong!
The site owners also had lots of leaflets about places to visit which was a nice touch.
We made our way to Viewpoint Road (where you can also visit Langard Fort) and parked up (it was free when we visited) and watched the containers being loaded/unloaded and all the shipping coming and going. You could spend hours just watching it all. Quite a sight! There is also a lovely area to walk around from the beach to the local nature reserve.
We went to Woodbridge Air Base which is a former cold war site and was very creepy but interesting to wander around - also free (sensing a theme here??) We also visited Thorpeness which is a pretty little village on the coast that has a windmill and 'the house in the clouds' which is also a holiday cottage. After we had a long walk with our dog on the beach area that was dog-friendly we sat by the village pond and watched others boating whilst eating ice-creams sold by the local shop.
We also visited the NT reserve at Dunwich Heath which has a great gift shop and the cafe was very popular.
We only stayed here two nights but if we want to visit Suffolk again then we'd recommend this as a touring base to anyone.

I cant say anymore about this gem of a caravan site. Liz has reminded me we have been visiting there now for the last ten years. As always the site is immaculately clean and tidy Best showers and toilets I ever seen on a touring camp site.
The staff as usual very pleasant and ready for a bit of banter at any time of the day.
Everything there is brilliant. I know its not too often that groundsmen get mentioned on a review so I shall just say the two guys here that look after the site always ready for a bit of fun and if you have any problems these two will always be there to lend a helping hand.
Now that just leaves me to say. Peewit see you again next year.

We chose this site as it was the same distance for us and family we were meeting up with. We were in our tourer and our family were in a tent. The site allowed us to pitch next to each other which was good.
The site was well kept and the toilets and showers were clean. If you go out the back gate and past lidl the sea front is only a short walk from there. Kids enjoyed the arcades and the beach. If you walk for a while either side of the pier you can take your dogs on the beach although it took a while for us to find out exactly where as not many signs.
We had a nice walk along the sea front and had takeaway on the way back. Very nice kebab shop opposite lidl that also did pizzas at a very good price. On the site there was a good mix of tents tourers and statics and had a friendly atmosphere.
Would visit again as there was still things in the area we didn't have time to do.
