Stayed here over the May bank holiday - it was one of the only campsites with pitches left and unfortunately the usual three night bank holiday stay applied, we decided to leave after two nights. The positive points are that the location is great, an easy walk to Filey and close to the beach. The lady on reception was really friendly and helpful and the campsite is good value for money. The downside is that the pitches are too small and close together and as a result the campsite has a really cramped feel. I also don't like the system of having to pay for tokens for the shower, it's just an extra hassle that you don't need when on holiday. Electric is cheap - for two nights we only spent £1. 30 and had the heating running a lot plus fridge, microwave, TV, kettle etc. It's not really a site for us so wouldn't plan to return.

We used Muston Grange as the first outing for our folding camper. We arrived on the Tuesday and left on the sunday. On arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome. All of the hard standings have their own water and Electric supply. The toilets were clean throughout our stay. The playground is basic but my 3 and 5 year old loved it. There is an on site shop which stocks the basics For anything else their is a Tesco within a 10 min drive from the site. We walked into Filey everyday via a small track from the campsite. The kids and dog loved being on the beach. Everyone was very helpful when I went to start my car and the battery was dead (turns out my youngest had put the interior light on in the back of the car and I hadn't realised). I would definitely recommend the site and we will probably go back in the future.

My mum recommended that we go to muston grange, we took her advice and I'm so glad that we did. We loved it, our little girl loved it. As it was our first time in a tourer claire who runs the site could not help us enough! Staff are fantastic, very clean. A 10 minute walk into filey which is a lovely walk as well! The shop on site which is the reception is very handy as we always ran out of bread for our breakfast sandwiches! Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We will definitely be visiting muston grange again!

During our recent stay at Muston grange we would just like to note that we have notice how helpful and friendly and normal the warden are which you don't always find at other sites. They have the hardest of jobs and work the longest hours.

Just returned from this lovely site. Fantastic location only being 5/10 minutes walk into Filey. A very safe site for children with great play area and playing field.
Staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. Facilities very clean. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend the site.

Just returned from another great stay at Muston Grange. Met at reception with a very warm welcome, reception is also a little shop selling a few basics like milk, bread, coffee etc. Entry is via a card controlled barrier which is also monitored with security cameras, so straight away you feel secure. Lovely little play area where all the young ones can meet new friends.
Nice big pitches with hard standing for both caravan and awning plus a grass bit for seating area. Site also has a large camp field but can't comment on this as not used it. Toilets and shower blocks really clean and spacious. Plenty of toilets and showers, even though campsite was busy never had to queue and never once found the toilets dirty or out of toilet paper problems I have encountered on other sites. Showers work by token obtained from reception which costs £1 for 3 tokens each lasting around 10 mins plenty of time for an adult and child to get showered.
Campsite within walking distance of filey centre with a golf course and big play area with crazy golf and cafe about 5/10 mins walk great for kids.
All in all can't fault this site and would highly recommend it. Already booking for our next visit. The people who run this site are so friendly and can't do enough for you. Thank you for another great stay and see you soon.

Just spent a fab 8 nights at Muston Grange. After years of camping decided to upgrade to caravan and chose Muston as our first stop. From the moment we arrived to us leaving the park wardens Claire and Jim couldn't do enough for us. Knowing it was our first time towing Jim actually took our caravan to our plot with the tractor. The plot itself was of a good size with its own water and drain. Electric hook up is by a pre paid card, we used £5 out of the £10 we put on, you get back any money left on card on your departure. Toilets and showers are key entry, there is 10 toilets and 5 showers never had to queue even though the park was full and peak season. Showers are token operated which you get from reception at a cost of £1 for 3 tokens. Each token lasts around 8-10 minutes plenty of time to shower an adult and child. There is also a token operated hair dryer in ladies. Toilets and showers were always cleaned on a regular basis and were of a good standard. On site there is also laundry room with washer drier which costs £1. 50 for a large load including powder there is also an ironing board and iron for you to use free of charge. There is also a pot washing room which we didn't use so cannot comment, There is an on site shop selling basic but useful things all at a good price like bread, milk, eggs, ice creams etc. There is 2 playgrounds one in tent field and one in caravan bit our kids aged 8 & 13 loved it and made good friends. The site is roughly 10-15 mins walk into Filey via a track. None of us wanted to come home, children have never been as gutted to come home already checking work diary to book to go back ASAP. All in all a wonderful site run by wonderful people.

We have just had four days at Muston Grange and had a lovely break. The site is in a perfect position for a motorhome as we are in walking distance of Filey (about 15 min. Walk) and a 5 min. Walk in the other direction at the end of the lane to a regular bus service to Bridlington or Scarborough. The showers and toilets etc are immaculate and £1 for 3 tokens. Electricity is charged on a meter card but is reasonably priced and a refund is given for overpayment at the end of the holiday. All pitches have their own water and electricity supply. The pitches are spacious and well kept by Jim who is kept extremely busy keeping the grounds in excellent condition. Claire is always on hand to help and advise and nothing is too much trouble. They are doing a marvellous job in making this a superb holiday venue. I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone. We shall certainly be back.

Stayed at this site a few years ago and vowed never to return! Due to the horrible, unhelpful and ignorant couple that run it. Then after being told by a friend that they had left, me and my husband decided to give it another try, and I'm glad we did!The new couple that are now managing the site are so friendly and helpful, It made our stay more relaxing than the last time. The shower and toilet block were clean, and with the volume of people we saw going in and out(bank holiday)we were surprised, although we did see someone checking them throughout the day. The site is situated close by to the beach. It was a lovely walk with our 3 children, who even got to feed the donkeys on the way. There was also a small playground that kept the children happy for a couple of hours. The site is situated in the middle of Brid and Scarborough so by taking a short car journey you can visit different places. We would definitely recommend, And I can now say we will go back, and hopefully before the caravan season finishes.

Just got back from another camping trip to Muston grange.
Been going with 'the lads' and our young children for a couple of year now.
The people who run the site are so relaxed and always friendly.
Allowed to pitch where we want. Allowed contained camp fires and bbqs.
The toilets and showers are clean and never queuing to use the facilities like other campsites I've been to.
Always plenty of room in the field with ample room for the kids to play whilst the dads eat and drink:)
If we are going to the east coast, we are going to Muston grange in filey!
