This is such a quiet and peaceful location in the depths of the New Forest. Out of season it is quiet with few campers and pub visitors, but very popular for Sunday lunches.
Road access is good if a little narrow for the last mile, but comfortably accessible for large units.
Mel & Nick are the owners, with Hannah & Howda as full time staff. They are all fantastically friendly and helpful - it seems that nothing is too much trouble.
If you enjoy peace and tranquillity, good food and beer (plus the full range of alternative drinks) you must pay a visit.
This was our first experience of motorhome living and it confirmed that our decision was right.
We chose well and just hope that other sites live up to this relaxing, peaceful experience.

Was too wet to stay on the campsite itself, but hooked up to electricity all ok from the handstand/ car park.
Beautiful location with ponies and donkeys wandering round.
Mel the landlady is lovely and will settle you in.

Surprisingly quiet and calm location during our mid week stay despite being a few minutes from a major motorway.
Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and trees.
The pub was a popular spot for a water/beer stop for afternoon joggers

Lovely campsite at great price.
Clean and tidy, electric hook up and running water available, toilet in the pub.
Located in the heart of New Forest so you are surrounded by wildlife at all the time.
Discount at the pub with good drink and food. Selection.
Definitely worth visiting.

Lovely peaceful site with electric hook ups allowing us to be a self contained unit
Loved the pub food, staff could not have been more friendly.
Ponies grazing over the road, good walks for us and our dogs.
Have rebooked to take our young grandchildren in August as there is a small playpark in the pub grounds children's food menu close to Beaulieu for a day out or we can just riding our bikes through the forest.

We had a great stay.
Really quiet with deer roaming all around and excellent forest walks in all directions.
We were well looked after by staff and given 10% discount on good home-cooked food.
We can highly recommend this site.

Set In the heart of the new forest you find yourself in a well kept grassed field with easy access behind the pub.
The pub itself is a gem with good selection of food and drink with very pleasant staff one of whom showed me to my pitch.
I'm self contained but if you did need facilities it's by way of pub when it's open which wasn't a problem for me.
Well worth the visit and would most definitely return.

This is our second visit.
Landlady is one of the most friendliest and helpful people we have stayed with. Very accommodating.
Added bonus of wonderful food in the pub!
