Facilities are okay including hot shower
But the warden made no attempt to enforce the policy on noise, even after separate campers had raised an issue about it.

Access is easy with a wide entrance direct off the A4067. Grassed areas for tents and gravel for motorhomes and caravans. Choice of open or enclosed private pitches, some small some large. Just take your pitch and pay the warden when he does the rounds.
Toilet block is clean and functional, if in need of an update.
A quiet site with occasional noise from the road.
Small Spar in next village but a large Tesco and Asda within 8 miles.
Great find, one that we will return to.

We have stayed at this site a few times. The amenities are extremely clean and the whole are is very tidy.
Beautiful views and you can park in a big area with a few vans or in an individual pitch for privacy.
From the park there is a ten minute walk to the local pub and the other way is Craig y Nos Country Park which has some lovely picnic areas and walks.
There are separate adult only and family areas. Dog friendly also camping areas.

This is a fantastic campsite with high quality facilities such as hot showers, clean toilets and washing up areas.
The campsites for tents are individual areas with access roads around. There are no set pitches for tents other than the grasses areas in which you can choose where to pitch.
There are multiple hard standing areas for campervan and caravan with electric and water points. The staff are very helpful. There are many attractions to visit nearby such as the showcaves and many walks.
The price for camping at the time is £10 per person per night. The campsite is quiet and peaceful.
We will certainly stay again.

Peaceful location, quiet at night after 10pm even on a weekend!
Good, organised site with clean amenities.
Plenty of variety of sites to pitch and trees for cover to avoid sunny morning heat!

Fantastic stay here. Loved it. So quiet and the scenery is amazing. We stayed over Easter near the stream. It was lovely walking about after all the cave customers had left as the field still has animals in it.
Very quiet and relaxing and friendly and helpful warden. No rubbish and the showers were clean too.
Very reasonably priced and dogs are free.
Shall definitely return.

Fantastic level pitches, each with hook up, water and grey waste point but not great value at £25/night in October! Warden is a lovely man and all the staff at the caves are excellent too.
Each (separate gender) shower block has three showers and wc’s which whilst the site was very quiet wasn't a problem but I can only imagine that earlier in the season it must be ‘queued around the block’.
Tiny dish washing area for three people at a time.
The Gwyn Arms is about a ten minute amble by turning left out of the site. Fabulous home cooked food and the home made chips are lush.
Great site for walking the southern mountains of the Brecon Beacons or visiting the caves.

A true gem. The staff are very helpful, it is in a great position, great toilet block and little else (Tesco is just 12 minutes away at Ystradgynlais SA9 1AD) The price is also good. You can go horse riding from there as well, and the Tafarn-y-Garreg Pub about ten minutes north (the second pub along) is just great.
Definitely worth a shot. I would go back without hesitation. Buy the booklet on aeroplane crash sites in the Brecons then go out and try to find one:)
