Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised to find the site nearly empty, maybe the storm on Saturday put people off.
This is the first time staying here since COVID as have been several times before.
The showers / loo's are still good.
Sadly the weather took a turn for the worse, Tuesday wet all day so I called it a day. But I shall return.
It's worth noting that the nearest shops are about three miles away in Ludlow. So make sure you have everything you need before you arrive.

Great site lovely and laid back, facilities where very clean and the owners were very helpful,
The views into Wales were a lovely surprise and being surrounded by the Mortimer Forest made it all a very peaceful and relaxing time.
Great to be able to use the firepits as the evenings were cool even though the weather was hot during the day.
We will be making a return visit especially as there are still lots we have yet to explore, also Ludlow is just a short drive away very handy.

We stayed here for a night recently and we were made to feel very welcome by Angela who was cheerful and helpful.
The site is beautiful and very well looked after in a gorgeous location.
The showers are new and very spacious and spotlessly clean.
I had the best nights sleep because it was so quiet.
We will definitely return.

Smashing. Our third trip.
We wanted somewhere we could chill with a camp fire, not too far away and this fitted the bill.
Initial impression isnt great as you drive in, but don't be deceived, the ramshackle buildings hide the biggest shower cubicles I've ever seen on a campsite, lovely hot showers too. Also plenty of clean toilets. Tho our second visit there were lots of kids on site and they do leave it messy.
There's a huge field and you go where you want
The views are amazing especially at sunset. And it's very peaceful. We hired a firepit and bought wood-you need to take some kindling, though we did fashion some by rooting through the hedges for dead branches. It was so peaceful sitting by the fire.
There's a couple of rope swings on an old tree and it was great to see kids enjoying it.
We took our dog and he loved it, huge fields=happy dog.
Ludlow and the castle are smashing, and are a short drive away. We went to the habberldy trail at Kidderminster which was ace even for us adults though it is a drive(looks like something your grandad has knocked up in his shed spurred on by a mad physicist!)
There's a good pub on the river, looks very inviting though we felt overpriced. Plenty of places to eat in Ludlow.
Lots of walks in Mortimer Forest opposite though we are not conifer plantation walkers so we didn't but if you're bikers it would be great.
There's no shop so take provisions with you.
For us wanting somewhere not far away just to chill it's perfect. No rules and regulations, just relaxed, friendly, easy site.
Tho last time we came we had the field to ourselves in September, came back one night to find in a huge field someone had set up so close to us we could hear their conversation! Why people do that I don't know!
All in all highly recommended.

This is a wonderful campsite set in beautiful landscape.
Great views across the countryside and only 5 mins walk to stunning forest.
Great location for wild swimming only 15 mins drive away.
You get a warm welcome from the lovely Val.
Shower and toilet blocks are super clean and really nice. C
Ampfires allowed and it's so peaceful and quiet at night.
Highly recommended.

A lovely site surrounded by fields and forest. EHU very up to date and effective.
Owners are very approachable and helpful.
Not close enough to Ludlow to walk in but a good cycle ride (hilly) or short drive.
This is about the 4th time I have visited this lovely site with a family dog and highly recommend, though do take chocks and levellers in case you are on the lower field which is gently sloping.

Lovely relaxed site in fantastic location for forest walking straight from the site.
We loved the views and tranquillity, doggie loved the forest walks.
Facilities were fine, I had a lovely hot shower and there was plenty of hot water for washing up.
Nice that fire pits are available to hire.
Great that tents are round the outside of the field, plenty of space to play, really nice they don't pack loads of tents in.
We'll be back!

Superb location, lots of space, all fairly level, wonderful views.
The rustic outside nature of the facilities in a barn, belie the immaculate spacious interior.
Showers and toilets are huge and very well maintained.
