The site is simple, but that’s it’s appeal. The views are lovely across the valley to the forest.
The pitches are flat and easily accessible to the toilet block, which is clean and freshly decorated.
If you want the best. Then have a fire pit, wait till the sunsets and you have no light to spoil the amazing night sky
Ludlow is 5 mins drive away for pubs and food. Will definitely come back as it’s close to us and gives what we like.

We picked this site to test our new to us caravan and awning for the first time. We were greeted by Angela who made us most welcome and were given our pitch number and directions to the pitch.
Pitch was perfectly flat and loads of space to use.
All in all a great stay although was only for 1 night, but will return for a longer stay in the future to explore the area and the town.
We didn't use the site facilities at all apart from the ehu and water supply.

This is a very picturesque campsite, the views from the top of the site and wonderful.
It is very peaceful being away from any main roads, however it is only a short drive from the lovely town of Ludlow.
The facilities on site are finished to a high standard and the owners are very helpful should you need anything.

Good facilities for shower/toilets. Good covid safety in place. Access to water/electric hookup was hard due to thistles but this was addressed.
The areas around the hard standing electric water would be easier to access if it was level. Better signage for emptying waste water.
Nice site with fab access to plenty woodland trails. Fab area for children to run.

What a beautiful site. Loads of space to pitch and amazing views. Angela was very friendly and the site was kept immaculately clean. They had clearly thought about how to keep people covid safe.
Lots of hand sanitizer and signs/ one way system in washrooms. Really helped us relax. Lots of lovely walks from site or nearby and only 10 mins from Ludlow by car.
Children had space to play in middle on large fields or on rope swing under the oak tree. The fire pits and logs were great.
We had such a relaxing stay and will definitely miss those views. Thank you!

A lovely campsite in a beautiful location. Had a friendly welcome on arrival. The facilities block may look rustic on the outside, but is well equipped with modern fittings and kept clean throughout the day. Plenty of hot water too.
Camping ground is well maintained. Ideally located to explore the neighbouring Mortimer Forest (just across the road) mountain bike trails.
Thanks Mark for guiding around the best of the single track!

Loved this site. Plenty of room, lovely views with great dog walks from the site through the neighbouring Mortimer and Bridgewood Forests.
Clean modern toilets and showers.
Mark guided my husband round great mountain bike trails on the doorstep - a highlight for him. Thanks Mark.
No pubs/shops within walking distance but didn’t bother us - part of the attraction.
Great stay and we’ll definitely return.

Had a lovely stay here, it's so relaxing and the views are lovely, the camp site is very clean and looked after,
Plenty of facilities also you can get a fire bowl wish can also be used for a bbq, we didn't use this
If your looking for a relaxing holiday and love walking then this is site for you.
I met the owner when we got there and she told us where things were and we could camp anywhere we liked.
It was lovely

Finally finished the packing away after our lovely trip to Monstay. A beautiful location; unspoilt and quiet and a great campsite. Nothing fancy but clean and cared for with just enough facilities to make your stay easy ie showers, toilets, washing up area, recycling (thank you very much), freezer and fire baskets.
We only saw the owners a couple of times but felt they were there if needs be. Kids may have liked to be able to charge their phones but we coped (hooray). Plenty of room and great to be able to pitch where we liked as we didn't require hook ups.
We were too lazy to do much exploring but loads of walks nearby and Ludlow was a lovely surprise and full of treasures (licorice stall at the market!). We will definitely hope to return.
