Monstay Farm campsite is in a fabulous location a few miles outside Ludlow. It’s got great views to all sides with 3 large camping fields.
The showers are lovely and warm, lots of space and really clean.
It was lovely to be able to have a fire - the bags of logs are great value and burn really well.
Lots of lovely walking from the site and Ludlow is a great market town with lots of history.
A great weekend and we would return to Monstay Farm.

A lovely site that I'd definitely visit again. The fields were huge and allowed us to be quite a distance from other parties.
The facilities block appeared to be quite recently renovated, and I only had to queue once.
Lots of great walks right from the edge of the site.

Great site in a lovely spot.
Facilities were good and the management team were very friendly.
Firebowl was definitely worth getting and bag of wood was huge.
Lovely weekend.

Lovely site and location. Great for walking/biking. Very peaceful near Mortimer forest so the views are super. Left to your own devices which suited us.
There are no shops nearby so you need to stock up if you do not want to drive anywhere

Very good campsite, nice and big, and in a wonderful location.
Many walks and bike rides available direct from the site, including walking down into Ludlow (and back up again!).
Toilet and shower facilities excellent and fire pits available for hire, and wood on sale! Quite rare for a camp site to allow camp fires!
I would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to family members.

Wonderful views, plenty of space, very relaxed atmosphere, facilities basic but very user friendly.
With 4 loos and wash basins and 2 showers for the women, it seemed that it wouldn't be enough for the number of people on site but somehow it worked out very well.
Great walks direct from the site - Mortimer Forest has trails for all abilities and is beautiful mixed woodland.

Make no mistake this site is in a beautiful spot. Glorious views from almost every pitch and walks/bike rides direct from the site into Mortimer Forest. We’ve been back 4 times in the last 6 years.
The owners are lovely and very laid back, which is great. But also means that there are very few rules applied to groups/spacing/noise.
Covid has brought everyone camping and the site has gone from quiet rural hideaway to large group camping hang out. Most of the groups were respectful albeit noisy but the facilities simply can’t cope with a busy site and quickly get muddy, crowded - not ideal in a global pandemic - and run out of hot water.
If you’ve got young children and are looking for somewhere to camp with friends for a weekend and you’re not too bothered about getting a shower then this is for you. If you’re looking to escape somewhere quiet probably look elsewhere.

If you want space in what will be a crowded summer, this is the site for you. Plenty room to spread out, beautiful views wherever you pitch and good facilities albeit the tracks to them can be a tad muddy in rainy weather but the grass drains really well.
Great walks either into Ludlow or round Mortimer forest which can be accessed from the entrance to the site. Great for dogs. Owners very laid back.
Will definitely be back.

Nice little site in very pretty location (if a little exposed to the wind and rain!).
Lots of work going on at the site when I arrived (just after lockdown ended) so it was rather muddy - no one can control the rain and you expect mud on a working farm but better paths (particularly around the shower block) would be helpful.
Shower block was good but needs chairs in the showers and better lighting to shave by!

Stunning views all round.
Facility closed due to covid but then we always use our own.
Children and dogs allowed so long as they are kept under control!
Lovely walks in the Mortimer forest and only three miles from Ludlow.
