Loved our stay, peace and quiet, fantastic view.
Good location although our stay was wet and windy.
Saw deer in the woods which topped our few days away

Had a lovely stay at Monstay and the weather was pretty kind which helped! Myself and the dog pretty much had the whole field to ourselves which was bliss.
Loved the site, it's a great location being surrounded by the Mortimer Forest with the Douglas firs surrounding the site.
The facilities were absolutely fine, the electric hookup was great, the loos flushed and the showers had hot water - what more could you wish for. All were lovely and clean with sanitiser on hand before entering the loos.
My only niggle (and it wouldn't deter me from returning!) would be the potholes on the farm track on the approach to the site - there were some whoppers in there, but like I said, not a deal breaker.

Spacious, easygoing site with wonderful views. No rule book but it felt like everyone respected the site, facilities and other campers. Great to see children playing around the huge tree in middle of field, even in the rain!
Toilet block was a bit of a trek from the bottom field but we didn’t let it be a problem. Good Covid arrangements.
Communication was efficient and friendly and Angela was so helpful (great guidance to get our car and caravan manoeuvred out of farmyard as we took wrong entrance !).
First time we’ve had a fire pit - loved it. Great location in a truly beautiful part of the country, lots of great walks. Ludlow is an interesting, attractive town with good car parks.
We were very impressed with the small independent shops for bread, cheese, cakes, meat and fruit/veg - (a lovely change from supermarket shopping} + great market on town square.

Nice location but spoilt by difficult check in as hard to find someone
Plus other campers playing loud music til early hours with no respect for others and campsite owners not intervening

A wonderful location, with fabulous views.
The owners, sent us good directions, on how to find the site, and answered my emails quickly. The site was very clean and well looked after.
The tent pitches had loads of space, and a large field for the children to run around and play games. It was a lovely quiet site, away from it all, making it a great place for a weekend.
We will definitely be returning next year.

The location was perfect for us as it was on the doorstep of the fabulous Mortimer Forest where at its high point extensive views across to Wales were great.
Plenty of space for tent campers in three fields and also some new hardstanding pitches for campers and motorhomes. Ours had electric and water and was only thirty metres from some basic but good and clean washroom and shower facilities.
Easy going site suitable for all generations and plenty of room for kids to play.
Lovely walks direct from the site which is a plus for us as we prefer not to have to get in the van to access the countryside.
Ludlow is three miles away ( five minutes by car and perhaps 50 minutes walk ) Fine little town with small independent shops and an interesting old castle. Parking in Ludlow £2. 40 all day and 90 p for three hours - nice to find a town where the council do not overcharge for parking.
We had a great stay and hope to go back again next year.

The site is simple, but that’s it’s appeal. The views are lovely across the valley to the forest.
The pitches are flat and easily accessible to the toilet block, which is clean and freshly decorated. If you want the best. Then have a fire pit, wait till the sunsets and you have no light to spoil the amazing night sky
Ludlow is 5 mins drive away for pubs and food.
Will definitely come back as it’s close to us and gives what we like.

Lovely multi generational site with easy going atmosphere and great location 'away from it all' in a charming area.
Good facilities, but maybe take a toilet tent if you are at the far end of the site.
Great area to walk/cycle around - the Mortimer trails start at the bottom of the farm track!
The area W of the farm - direction Knighton and around is fab cycling on quiet lanes, if a tad hilly. (great e-bike territory!)
Only improvement would be to landscape the ground around the hardstanding hookups/tap.
