As promised in my 2021 review we did return. Yet again we were not disappointed. The only let down was the good old fashioned British weather.

Fortunately at Monstay you are allowed gazebos. What a godsend that was.

With approximately 20 family members we were all pitched together with loads of room, and stunning scenery.

Looking to return next year for the 3rd time 👍🏼

Wonderfully situated site close to the Mortimer Forest and the quaint town of Ludlow. Expect to see Red Kites wheeling above, and lots of little birds enjoying life in the hedgerows.

Ideal place for getting straight onto the forest tracks with bikes, or walking. Also nice to just sit and enjoy the view!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's a couple of fields near a farm house, sheep wander around sometimes and you need to be careful about water usage. The night sky is amazing when there are no clouds.

The owners are friendly and helpful.

A lovely campsite in a lovely location with clean facilities.

Unfortunately, a tent pitched up very close to us so the guidelines were only about 30cm away from ours. Led to a noisy night after the designated 'quiet time'.

Apart from that the campsite was perfect, perhaps greater monitoring of pitches and guidance of pitch sizes could improve this.

 Fantastic site.

The facilities were spot on and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The views were spectacular and being allowed to use fire pits made the camping experience even better.

We will be staying again.

We loved our stay at Monstay Farm.

It was quiet when we were there so we had our choice of pitch overlooking an amazing view.

We loved the cleanliness of the facilities, the location and the welcome we got.

We will definitely go back when we are in the area.

Stayed 1 night really enjoyed the peace and quiet, nice clean surroundings.

Having our own facilities we didn't require the ones on site but they looked adequate and clean with clear signage of currant advice.

This site is on a working farm but apart from the farm activities.

I can recommend Monstay Farm site if you enjoy natural landscapes and remarkable views. Binoculars recommended.

A great site with beautiful views, super friendly owners,

Exceptionally clean facilities, and lovely quiet nights.

This was our first camping trip with our 5yr old and we had an amazing time.

Monstay Farm is a lovely campsite. A super sized field so plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. An added bonus of a huge tree with rope swings which provided them with hours of fun!

The facilities were clean every time we visited them. 4 toilets in the ladies and two large showers with plenty of room to shower the children.

Fire pits can be rented for the duration and logs available.

The pitch is pretty flat but can be quite windy so make sure you have some good pegs! Other campers were friendly and the campsite was quiet at a reasonable time.

Bring everything you need unless you want to take a drive into Ludlow. Some lovely walks through the surrounding area with amazing views.

We will definitely be back. We had a great time.

What a lovely place, vey quiet, stunning views, and excellent facilities. Approx 3 miles from Ludlow town this site is located near lots of nature walks (not that we moved far).

We were greeted by a lovely lady that explained the site rules etc. Lovely friendly people.

You can rent fire pits and buy wood for fires. Don’t forget your only 3 miles away from Tesco or Aldi should you forget marshmallows.

We will 100% be returning next year.

I put no rating for child friendliness as my child is 23 so didn’t really notice.

The site is in a fabulous location with wonderful views all round, especially to the west for lovely sunsets when the weather permits.

The fields are huge so you can easily find a pitch that’s not too close to someone else. It was very quiet on the weeknights we were there, but busied up with family groups at the weekend. There’s lots of room for kids to run around and enjoy themselves without bothering other campers.

There are plenty of good walks in the Mortimer Forest and it’s great to have a fire in the evening: it’s well worth hiring a fire pit. Bags of logs are for sale, although kindling isn’t, and you really need some to get the fire going.

The facilities are are good, with plenty of hot water in the showers but they might become a bit pressured at busier times.

Angela was really helpful when I mucked about with our booking. If it was a bit closer to our home we’d be regular visitors. Our dog didn’t want to leave and had to be bribed into the car with biscuits!
