This was a real nice caravan park even though it only has enough space for five caravans
The location was fabulous very close to town centre pub
Grounds were very well
Kept plenty of seating areas outside and dogs are allowed which is a plus
Nice pub and great menu for lovely food
Definitely be back for further visits

Canny little site, staff at the pub were nice.
Facilities are limited but perfectly adequate.
Can walk into Alnwick, its a steep hill, but doesn't take that long.

A good location as it’s within walking distance to Alnwick town centre. The site is behind a pub so is quite small.
The bad: There are hook ups but when we were there one of the hook ups was broken. The hard standing is 2 rows of slabs with grass between. The slabs on one rows tipped up as we drove our motorhome onto it - need some attention.
There is a toilet in a shed and a shower in a separate shed. Both were not very clean when we visited eg shower had brown marks in the shower tray. There is only a cold tap in the toilet.
The good: We received a warm welcome from the staff/ owners ? in the pub and offered help if we needed a longer hook up cable.
There is a super long hose to fill up with water. Some nice views of farmland from certain pitches.
Overall we probably would return due to the proximity to Alnwick but the site needs a bit of attention to get it up to standard.

First time in visiting Alnwick loved the views of the country side, it was quiet, a lovely walk to town centre.
When checking into the camp site was asked to pay when my partner had already paid for the three nights and the management had confirmed it as well we were not impressed with that,
Had to be moved to a different part of the camp site as they put us a hard ground pitch when had no electric hook up,
The Toilet was in a shed and it was clean but the shower was also in a different shed it looked a little pokey so did not use the shower.
We would like to go Back to this Camp site again.

This CL site is on reasonably level ground and is directly adjacent to the pub / beer garden. It was well maintained & clean, and the pub staff were friendly.
We booked a hard standing pitch, but just as a word of advice, only the wheels of your vehicle are on hard standing strips - the remainder of the site is grass.
Alnwick is within walking distance (about 10 mins downhill - slightly longer back !) and there are numerous local rural footpaths, as well as access to the grounds of nearby Hulne Park Abbey and Cloudy Crags Moor.
There is one toilet, and although we didn’t see it (due to Covid restrictions), showering facilities are advertised.
Overall, a pleasant CL site which I would recommend, but no doubt could be become rather noisy on summer evenings, due to the proximity of the beer garden.

A really warm and friendly welcome to the site on arrival, similar to the phone conversation when booking.
The simple facilities of the site were functional and clean and worked well for a tired cycle-camper. The price of £9. 50 per night was very good value.
The pub itself is well planned for covid functioning and the food was hearty and served by friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay here - I just wish it was at the bottom of a hill in both directions and not at the top!

Lovely clean site. Location perfect for Alnwick, just few minutes walk to the centre.
Had a wait for shower as there’s only one. Could do with children’s play area.
