The hard standing needs a bit of repair but basically an ok site. A bit of traffic noise but unless you are looking for silence was not too obtrusive.
The loo and shower are in two separate sheds. OK but basic, however very clean.
Close to town but an uphill walk at the end of the day. Good bus service from town, about 1/2 mile.
Lovely walk at Alnmouth along the shore and also at Amble.

Camping area reasonable.
£29 for filthy shower room & toilet.
Couldn't use facilities for 2 days due to work in progress. Should have given refund.

Great location for Alnwick, and exploring Morpeth to Seahouses.
The Campsite is rather tired, the single toilet and shower are located in a shed. Toilet rolls were rarely restocked but the facilities were clean (although I think this was down to the campers).
Limited electric hook ups, an extension lead is required for some pitches.
Limited bins, so unfortunately they were overflowing for a few days.
Unfortunately the night we chose to eat at the pub, they were not serving.
Great location, but unfortunately does not live up to its potential.

Basic site, but lovely staff and easy walking into Alnwick.
Been twice now and would use it again.
Decent pub on site with friendly locals and outdoor tables.

Really enjoyed our stay,
Susan the landlady was lovely,
Had problems with the electric hookup which was immediately sorted and evening meal was really good. Thank you.
Looking forward to coming here again

There was a lot of rain so the grass area got a little boggy but the caravan was on hard standing,
On New Years Eve they put on a nice Buffet a very friendly pub.
We hope to return in the summer there are lovely views from the site.
It is in a good area for a lot of local attractions.

The site is basic and yet has all you really require. The toilet and shower facilities are clean and serviceable.
Being located at a pub is great for food and drinks. The log fire is great to warm you prior to hitting the sack.
Great location too, just a short down hill walk into Alnwick town.
Only slight down side is site gets a bit boggy under foot when wet, so you have to be careful not to get stuck with your van.

Small convenient site with very basic facilities.
Easy 10-15 min walk downhill to town and obviously a little longer to come back up the fairly steep hill. I recommend booking a table if there is somewhere in town you want to eat as we really struggled to get seated anywhere on Friday night. We didn't bother trying on our other two nights.
The site is really convenient for visiting Holy Island, Seahouses, Alnmouth, Cragside etc.
There is only one toilet in a shed, the door of which was difficult to open as it drags on the floor and then is very difficult to lock - my daughter found it impossible and had to resort to holding the door shut. We did have to wait several times to use the loo which was frustrating as campers, as we have no other choice. The queue could easily be kept down if the people with motor homes used their own facilities.
It was reasonably clean, though I think this was down to considerate campers keeping it that way rather than site management cleaning it.
One shower in another shed that worked well and was free. A mop for cleaning up after yourself would be useful as when I used it the floor was very wet.
The pub was friendly, with good choice of beers, serves food and the site was quiet after the pub closed.

Handy stop on outskirts of Alnwick.
Showers and WC are in clean well-fitted garden sheds;
Good beer and food in the pub.
I'll go again.
It's a pub with a big garden, so has to be child/dog friendly.
