Very pleased with this site. Take rock pegs.
I called here with my little boy as a base for visiting l London and it was just the job. Regular short bus ride to an overground train station from where you can take a train right into the centre or make one change to the tube. You can get one ticket about £8 to cover all that and your transport in the centre for the day.
All the water facilities were great and there is a little launderette too. The site is sheltered and flat. In the heat of August the ground was pretty hard. Had to use the rock pegs.
The staff were helpful and there is a little shop at reception. Take the bus from the edge of the park towards Edmonton Green station and there is a Lidl there. There is a cinema on this site, which is in the middle of an industrial wasteland, but you'd never know that because it's green and surrounded by trees and hedges. Lots of planes fly overhead but they are quite high so not noisy.

A very nice campsite. The staff are fantastic. Pitches very good. Showers and toilets very clean. Very good for cycling takes about a hour into central London. The area surrounding the campsite is mainly industrial and a bit of a tip. There's a nice cinema just outside the gate it is also where you catch the w8 bus to Edmonton green bus station and connect with London rail. You can get day travel permits for £8 from the site office. Which covers rail and bus travel in all London zones

I would like to add my review to this excellent site. It is without doubt very good value for money, the previous reviewers have given perfect scores for everything and I certainly would not disagree with them. For those of you who wish to travel by London bus around the capital, the W8 from the site to Edmonton Green is about every 10 mins from there regular buses to Kings X (259) and London Bridge (149) will get you there in about an hour. We also used our bikes along the canal towpath via Tottenham and Hackney Marshes, the Olympic park and onto the Limehouse Basin, from there cycle routes abound everywhere, we took the CS3 through Canary wharf to the Trinity Buoys Wharf opposite the O2, central London was easily accessible. We will definitely return. Final thank you to the Wardens, a fantastic bunch of dedicated, helpful and friendly people

Lovely site. Great bus service, only 100 yards from reception, train and tube service great. Also very helpful and knowledgeable wardens. Site well presented. There is a small shop on site and super markets only a short drive away. Facilities very clean. Most pitches hard standing. Some seasonal caravans. Gates closed in the late evening and opened in the early morning. There's a cinema on site and what looks like some new eateries opening.

Nice quiet site very handy for London, a bus runs from the entrance to Edmonton Green Station, from there trains link to underground £7. 70 for a travel card for the day. Wardens friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and adequate, though showers a little cramped.
Downside is the site is not very secure with easy access from a golf course over a 2 bar fence avoiding site entrance, we know this to our cost as our bicycles were stolen from the rack on the rear of our unit.

We stayed here for 2 nights in September for a short weekend break in London. Site was easy to find and not far from the main A10 into London. Very helpful staff when we arrived. Keycode access to site and showers was a good sign.
The site is very flat and level with good size pitches. Plenty of room for us and our full size awning. The children's play area was excellent as was the little on site shop. The showers/toilets were ok but as mentioned before the cubicles were a bit small with only 1 hook and nowhere to put your stuff.
The site is only a 10 min drive from Tottenham Hale underground station which is then only 20 mins to the centre of London. Parking on the Sunday was only £1. 00 for the whole day.
I would recommend this site for anyone wanting to visit London.

A great place to stay to visit the sights of London and many top class venues, including the Olympic Park, about 6 miles away. We stayed here as it was the closest site to where our son lives in Camden, which is about eight miles away. He came and stayed with us for one night, this cost £7. 50 (not many places in London you can stay for that price)
The facilities on this site are excellent. The showers are clean if a little small, entry is gained to the shower block by combination lock, provided for you when you arrive. The site itself is an Oasis of Green and has direct access to the municipal golf course that surrounds it. Just outside the gated entrance is a multi screen cinema complex and the impressive Lee Valley athletics tracks (both indoor and out).
The staff are wonderfully friendly and work from a small office/ shop at the entrance. Right next to where we were pitched (concrete and fully serviced) is the small, very level camping field which has attractive wooden camping 'pods' around its edges.
You can walk (or cycle) to Picketts Lock where you are able to pick up the tow path on the canalside. This leads in one direction to a large Harvester pub, the prices are very reasonable considering how close to the centre of London it is, and in the other direction right into to Town.
I will definitely be returning to this brilliant little campsite.

This is an absolutely fabulous site. You call at the office to book and are given the numbers for the security barrier in and out and also for the ladies and gents facilities. These are on security keypad.
There are showers toilets washbasins for both sexes and also a separate disabled side if required. With dish washing facilities laundry and also carvanette charging point.
There is a playground for children.
At the entrance before you enter the site is a multiplex cinema and a swimming pool and also a bowls site.
If you decide to stay here use the oyster card from London transport. You can order these over the net and it is avery speedy return of the cards. The card is loaded with £15 of travel that can be used on the buses or underground. Total cost is £18 but it is well worth it.
The site has just invested in some new cocoons so you can now go glamping

Site situated within M25 and has very easy access for any type of unit, mix of grass and hard standing pitches all quite level and of good size.
Site is peaceful with decent laundry and dishwashing facilities, also a good play area for children. Great location for those wishing to visit London's attractions, there is a bus stop right outside taking you to Edmonton Green and from there you can then access the train then a tube, 40min's after leaving site you can be in Picadilly Square or Harrods.
Site is also great for all the activities available in the Lee Valley, horse riding, canoeing and rafting etc.
The only bad thing we found were the showers, if you have a toddler they are a little on the small side, with only 3 hooks and no flat surface to put things on. The showers are present to temp, but I have to say they were always at a good temp and I was neither scolded or frozen.
But the worst thing about the showers was how dirty they got, with no mop and bucket to clean round after your shower the floors soon bacame very dirty. I mentioned this to a warden and was told 'They are cleaned once a day', only one niggle but one that hit me first thing every morning and last thing every night.
We visit London quite often as we have relatives in Edmonton and the site is very conveniently located, but I would think twice about returning.

This site is very easy to find and accessible. The wardens were all very friendly and went the extra mile with our 2 boys (9) and (13).
The children's play area needed attention and we noticed a lot of tape over the slide and a few other things that obviously needed attention, the weather was cold so we didn't really use the play area, but we would have been disappointed had it been nice and sunny and the play area couldn't be used.
Facilities were very clean. My husband and sons said that the water in their showers was very hot, I found the water in the ladies block just right, however I did have a stone cold shower one evening.
Overall a great site if you just want to pitch and visit london.
Bus stops right outside, which takes you to the terminal where you can jump on the train into London.
Travel cards can be purchased on site.
There is an Odeon cinema within walking distance and a leisure complex, however we didn't use either of these.
Would visit again.
