 This site is really handy for a London stopover or in transit around the M25 being only a mile or so from the M25/A10 junction. In the summer there are many visitors from overseas including those from Australia and New Zealand which makes for pleasant and interesting conversations. The new shower block is really swish, definately ****. Very handy for the tube at Tottenham Hale, the midibus comes into the leisure complex to pick up and put down.

We visit this site three times a year. It's not cheap! pitch , awning and electric recently cost me £15 per night.
The shower block is as clean as you would expect at home, as there is a key system. The site is almost manicured and well drained and flat. I was there two weeks ago when we had 44mm of rain in three hours and you could not tell in the morning, no puddles no mud just fresh grass.
The site is fronted by a leisure centre ...very , very quiet and surrounded on three sides with a golf course.
Half a mile by road is Pickets lock on which you can cycle or walk either towards London or Waltham Abbey about 17 miles of flat towpath. There are restaurants , one is a pizza place on the site in front of the leisure centre and there is a ten screen cinema also.
A bus visits the site and will take you to Tottenham Hale where you get on the tube, (a pass can be purchased from the site office). There is only rudimentary food available in the shop but there is Edmonton Shopping Centre within two miles of the gate. If you go there remember us to Janet and Jim tell them we are the Sheffielders with the blue Toyota Spacecruiser.
