Great location, clean and well ordered site.
Can be exposed if windy (which is probably the norm on the west coast of North Uist).
Some internet, but quite limited.
Good location for driving around.
Worth a visit.

Clean facilities, staff checked them thoroughly throughout the day. Drying room was handy for wet weather.
Pleasant rural setting looking over fields in the nature reserve, 2 minutes walk from a vast white sandy beach.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

A fantastic site, communication on arrival and the facilities spotlessly clean,
Great location too next to a fantastic beach. Wish we’d stayed longer!

Absolutely beautiful campsite next to the beach perfect for watching Scottish sunsets. Sky is so dark at night, possible to see northern lights.
The toilets and kitchen area are spotlessly clean, hand sanitisers and disinfectant spray available everywhere.
The public areas are cleaned at various times throughout the day and we felt perfectly safe.
The staff are working so hard under these difficult times to ensure we don’t have any excess concerns and just focus on enjoying our holiday, which we did immensely! Highly recommend.

Great location and perfect facilities.
2 minutes from an immaculate beach in a bay. Very shallow and protected from the elements. Great for kids.
Shower block was as new! Great pitches. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely campsite a stones throw from the beach next to Balranald RSPB reserve.
The toilets and showers were kept spotlessly clean (showers take a £1 coin for 7. 5 minutes of hot water-plenty of time) We had a warm welcome on arrival, and everyone else staying on site were friendly too.
There is a village shop about a ten minute drive away which had everything we needed and a co-op slightly further afield that we only visited once.
If you’re looking for ready made entertainment, a bar or a restaurant this place won’t be for you. If you want peace and quiet and easy access to a beautiful beach and local walks then it is perfect!
