We arrived at the campsite and were advised where the best field was to pitch our tent, though he said we can go anywhere we like. We chose the little paddock off the main field which was quite sheltered. We drove down to Boscastle shop every morning for a paper and milk. The sites got great views looking down at the valley to boscastle the sea and general countryside.
Toilets were basic but clean with plenty of toilet roll though my partner didn't like not having handwash supplied.
Showers again basic but very hot water and good pressure Tho my partner didn't like them cause there's no where dry to get dressed.
Well recommended though and I will be visiting again.

Spent three nights here in our tent our first time away camping for many years, we were greeted by the owner who was really friendly and extremely helpful to where to pitch our tent the views were breath taking. The showers were clean and hot and we never had to queue for a shower, toilets old but clean just what I would expect from a campsite, the little shop with fresh cakes and bread and little extras was lovely would really recommend this campsite if you have kids though make sure you bring toys etc as nothing on site just lovely fresh air and fields to run free.

Have just returned from 4 nights at 'Lower Pennycrocker Farm'
This is a delightful site, which is very well situated.
Everything about the owners is relaxed, from booking, payment, check-in/out etc. Very helpful and friendly.
The site is situated above Boscastle bay with some beautiful and commanding views towards Boscastle and Tintagel and overlooking the sea.
The pitches are generously sized and, within reason, you can pitch where you like, although on a slight slope, so 'chocks & blocks' required.
The toilet facilities are a little dated although very clean and tidy. The shower block is newer and again clean and tidy with plentiful hot water. Also no charge for showers.
There is also a small 'shop' where you can purchase some little treats for dinner/tea such as pasties and cakes.
Overall, a lovely site that is well situated for both stunning views and ideal location for exploring the North Cornwall coastline.

A lovely site with massive pitches. So nice to genuinely be able to get away from it all compared to some other Cornish sites where they have crammed tents onto every available piece of grass.
The toilets and showers are basic but clean and there is free hot water. The site itself is well maintained and tidy. The owner is friendly and helpful.
Boscastle is only a 5min drive away and Widemouth Bay only 15mins to the north.
I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to relax on a farm site without all the hustle and bustle of the bigger commercial sites.

Stayed here from June 9th until June 24th, only booked for a week but it was so nice we ended up staying longer. The facilities are a bit basic, a wooden building for the toilets/ showers but they are clean and perfectly adequate. There is plenty of hot water and they are free. The site has a good view over the sea and there are some good walks (which our dogs enjoyed!)and places to visit nearby eg. Boscastle, Tintagel, Trebarwith Strand to name just a few. The access road is a bit narrow but luckily we did not meet anyone coming in the opposite direction! All in all we had a lovely stay there, the owner is very laid back and helpful and we will definitely stay there agin when in North Cornwall.

Got back from Penny Crocker this morning what a fantastic experience.
The owner came out In torrential rain and a howling gale to see if we were OK in our tent. We were struggling a little so moved us straight to his newly built wooden 'pod' gave us free electric and let us dry out. The man is a true saint and a perfect gentleman. I'd like to thank him again!
The camp site is immaculate, perfectly clean, with loads of hot water and quality loo roll.
The views are stunning too.
If your camping in Cornwall and want something simple but perfect I doubt if there is anything better.

This is one of those sites, where using the sat nav works, it brings you right into the site.
Pitches are all on grass, but even in the wet, we didn't slide around. The site slopes towards the hills and the sea in the distance.
Most pitches but not all, have electric.
The toilets are situated in an old caravan and whilst basic, they are clean and functional. There are showers and a wash up with plentiful hot water.
The site is close to the coastal path.
There are pubs and all the basic amenities (Spar, grocers etc) in Boscastle.
I would not say the site is ideal for young children, especially if it is wet, but then where is?
The owner of the site comes around daily to collect the fees and is very pleasant.

Just got back from a wet and windy week in Boscastle, now to the site well what can you say. super
The toilets are a little dated( being up dated this winter ) and basic, but so clean, cleaned 3 times a day with quality loo roll and plenty of it, the showers to are basic but the best yet on any campsite I've been, hot water all day long and never a wait.
The site is quite with plenty of room.
Greated by the owners dad with a smile and shown to our pitches, the owner turned up later in the day to make sure all was ok.
Just be aware the lane is a bit narrow up to the site, and when leaving the site we found it better to turn right as left the lanes are very narrow with few passing points.
A great location with stunning views, and a idel base for going out for the day touring
In all a great site, run by the brilliant people and it won't break the bank to say, super value for money.
We will be returning to this sit for many years to come.

This was my first Camping Trip and I loved it despite getting rained off !
We stayed last week for 3 nights, was going to be 5 but the winds got so bad they broke the Pup tent and we didn't want to sleep in the same tent as 2 teenagers !
The site is very windy as already stated, we had electric so didn't have the views that you get from the non-electric pitches, that said the facilities were cleaner than I hoped for being my first time. The toilets were cleaned during the day. The showers were too hot at times.
Colin the owner was really nice, he didn't bother to collect the money until the second day and when we said we weren't sure about the number of nights as the weather wasn't looking good he said not to worry and he would give us our money back if we decided to go !
It was so lovely I can't wait to go back, it is what I consider to be real camping as no shop or other facilities on site.
Close to the beach which is dog friendly all year and Boscastle is lovely to visit.

We visted this site for the first time in June 2012. I say first time - because we intend now to visit much more often! this is a site for 'real' campers who love the country side, not all mod cons and entertainment!
We stayed in a tent and had the worst weather ever - gales and torrental rain for all of our six day stay! Be warned - this site is very windy! But our tent stayed fast, and we still fell in love with the site. If camping you can site your tent in some really secluded areas. We were the only one in our field - but that might have been due to the weather!
It is in an amazing position on the highest cliffs in Cornwall with lovely views over the cliffs of Tintagle and Boscatle.
Colin, who owns and runs the site is so friendly and helpful, as is his father who welcomed us when we arrived.
The site is basic, with just toilets showers and hook ups for caravans. The showers are really good, power showers with lashings of hot water (free!)and so perfect for the cold wet weather we stayed there. I kept having showers to warm me up!
So good is this site we are now moving our tourer caravan there for the season!
