My Husband & I have just returned from a long weekend at this campsite. We arrived just after 12:00 on Friday afternoon and told we could pitch up on any available marked out pitch - we managed to get a spot right at the front with the most spectacular sea view.
The toilets on the camp site (for tents) were 6 portable loo's, which stayed clean through out our stay and the shower block (although a fair walk away) were very clean too - you had to leave a £10 deposit for the key, but this was returned on handing the key back.
The site is in lovely location - you can follow the coastline round to either Whitstable or Herne Bay I would say it is about a 40 minute walk either way.
When we booked in we were given passes to the club house and swimming pool at no extra charges - again the toilets etc were very clean.
I would highly recommend this site and would go back in the blink of an eye.

A random phone call to their reservation line at around 2 pm and we were on site in situ by 4 pm and all for £25.
The site was completely boggy and if I am honest totally horrible but hey this was the wettest week of the year!
The toilets and showers were great although lacking hooks or a bench to plonk things on.
The clubhouse was pleasant enough on a wet and miserable evening although not having kids of our own the junior disco was not really our thing
The shop was well stocked with tin and packet goods plus bread but little or no fresh stuff.

Pleasant staff on arrival. Typical commercial site. Very dated and in need of a major overhaul. Pitches appear very disorganised, with campers having to either walk or drive through each others pitches to get to the road. Very untidy and uncared for in general, bins emptied infrequently, rubbish scattered throughout the site, toilet block always wet and dirty looking despite being cleaned daily.
On a positive note, good beach location, pleasant prom walks in either direction, taking approx 45-50 minutes. Herne Bay to the right, typical small seaside town, or Whitstable to the left, a quaint fishing harbour.
The site which already has hundreds of static caravans, appear to be extending these further and not really interested in touring units and the maintenance of this area.

Had another very enjoyable season (now our 2nd one) in our static caravan on this well managed park. Not a day went by during our stay, (which was almost every weekend) whilst walking our dog, we’d see the cleaners, maintenance staff & the gardeners out around the park & on the fields tidying up, emptying bins & attending / watering the lovely colourful flower beds thus, again, doing an excellent job of making the park look very clean & tidy.
Yet again can’t fault this park at all as the entertainment was again terrific throughout the season & our niece thoroughly enjoyed the Sooty & Sweep show during her stay in the summer.
All the clubhouse & bar staff were always very friendly & worked extremely hard especially on the special event days/evenings, i.e. Party in the Park where there were lots of play areas for the children, stalls & again very good entertainment like the Herne Bay Sea Cadets, all in aid of the Help for Heroes charity.
The shop was always well stocked, tidy & with many essential items which has been very handy, as well as the on-site launderette.
The outside heated swimming pool seemed to work well especially with the adult only hour long session in the morning which then left the rest of the day for both adults & children to enjoy, which they seemed to be doing on many occasions even when it was raining!
Still had friendly & helpful staff throughout the site & all in all is a great park as with it being so close to the sea front & having pleasant walks to Whitstable and Herne Bay it makes it a lovely retreat & holiday park.

We have just returned from a three night stay at Seaview. On arrival we found that our allocated pitch was already occupied, which wasn't a good start!
However the Reception staff and Warden soon found us another pitch which was much quieter and actually had a brilliant sea view.
The band in the club house on Saturday evening were good although the entertainment did stop for around 45 minutes because there was boxing on the TV, I'm not sure why the boxing couldn't have been shown in the rear room, allowing the band to continue on stage. Not everyone is interested in boxing!
It's a pleasant walk into either Herne Bay or Whitstable along the prom. They're both very different in character. The weather was glorious so the outdoor pool was beckoning.
What a lovely surprise to find they have adults only sessions from 9am for an hour every morning and the pool was really warm! The site got very busy over the weekend but was really quiet during the week.
We prefer quieter sites but enjoyed Seaview mainly for its location.

Reception- terrible not provided with arrivals brochure, just verbally directed to where to go by a fairly very young novice.
Facilities - the whole place can do with a facelift as it's unwelcoming from entrance to the path to pub.
Pub needs real work- it felt neglected especially the toilets however they got a kids play area which was fairly in good shape.
Playground- two sets of swings two stepping poles-utterly boring for kids.
Toilets- clean most of the time, don't expect hot water if you are a late riser.
Shop- you will generally get what you want, but supermarkets are within a mile or two.
TV-reception is very poor, but you will still receive a few channels.
Entertainment for kids, (kids tend to do it for themselves) expect to spend some money.
Adults- head down the pub, you may just enjoy it.
My company- 3 kids (7, 5, 3) and two adults
Best beach- Margate

I took my son to Seaview for a weekend break. The site itself was fine. Unfortunately the weather was awful. As a result the ground was badly flooded, although this could have been avoided if the ground had a few less dips and hollows.
As we arrived late in the afternoon I took my son to the clubhouse for dinner. I don't know how much you would expect to pay for food, but a childs portion of macaroni cheese was £4.50 and a plate of fish and chips with the worlds thinnest slice of lemon (it was so thin I only got 4 drops out out it!) was £6. 50, and the cheapest meal on the menu. For this meal we had the pleasure of waiting 1hr 45mins! Another camper, not a happy one, gave up after 1hr and got his money back. It really was not that good.
There is a very nice swimming pool however the company policy is you are not allowed to take pictures of your kids in the pool! The pool attendant was very helpful and even dried off the seat for me before I sat down, as it had been raining beforehand.
The toilet block was very clean and the showers had oodles of hot water, probably because they were on 30 second timers.
The clubhouse had a garden with a good play area for the kids, but due to the weather my son was unable to try it out.
I had a three man tent and booked a pitch with electric hook up. For my needs this was a HUGE pitch, with plenty of room for the tent, my car, a couple of bikes and more room left for a sitting area.

First outimg with our folding camper for 3 nights and was good site in that context. Check in easy, route to pitch easy and good sized pitch with plenty of room for car, our FC and if required (we didn't) an awning.
Had some awful weather whilst there and underfoot stayed reasonably solid but there were large patches of standing water and thick mud where some construction traffic probably uses the way where they are building large new static area. Fortunately site is flat but some larger motor homes got stuck and had to be pulled out.
Showers and toilet block quite nice but not always clean. Separate washing up and laundry room and disabled facilities all next to a small playing area.
Beach is only a 2 minute walk but is a shingle steeply sloping beach - can walk along either way to Whitstable or Herne Bay both which have some nice points about them.
Staff on site all friendly we found and useful and well stocked little shop including camping and caravan bits and pieces all quite well priced.
Sainsbury's a 5 minute drive away for more shopping along with MCD's or KFC if so inclined.
One of best features is the outdoor swimming pool which was new in 2010 and is well maintained and a lovely extra for kids and adults alike. Great temperature and regular test of water quality with a friendly lifeguard always on site. Big plus for this.
Evening entertainment - well Ok if you like that I guess. We had a quick drink and left. Could hear the disco until quite late on Saturday but not overly intrusive.
Clubhouse itself was nice enough and some pool tables and nice menu and good size bar are and further area with Sky TV etc. Arcade outside and a nice enclosed are for outside eating and drinking with a kids play area.
Biggest downside for us was the problems on Saturday night after a group of half a dozen or so midteens were dropped off to a pitched tourer a few down from us and then the obvious happened with such a group of unsupervised youths. Drinks flowed and by 7pm there were fights and screaming and swearing etc. A number of people went straight over to reception to complain but that was shut and no security till 9pm! The bar and show staff tried to help and I think the police were called and no problems after till about 11ish when they all returned. Problems then throughout the night till about 5am. Totally ruined last night and worryingly speaking to a few of the seasonal pitchers this was the second weekend in a row this has happened so clearly nothing is being done as far as security or ensuring no groups of under 18's are allowed.
No point in any site rules if they aren't enforced and we wouldn't return and probably will make us wary of any commercial site to be honest.
We shall see what Park holidays UK have to say as they were going to be getting a lot of complaints if people follow through with what they said.
Shame as site has some potential even if its not the most picturesque. Problems caused the overall rating to be dropped by a few points.

Just spent the most fantastic weekend at Seaview, stayed on a basic pitch, non electric, in a 2 man tent with 2 other girlies, who have never been camping before. So for their first experience we couldn't have picked a better site, the pitches were very large, we had no neighbour's. I know we went right at the end of season, but it was still quite busy, but the shower bloke was clean and tidy, no queuing on either morning and plenty of hot water. The club house was very clean and tidy, one of the best I have been in, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The entertainment for the 2 night's was very good, (they do need a bigger dance floor)and we danced the night away. I would come back again and would recommend the site to other's. Only moan is it isn't a 10 min stroll into Herne Bay, it took us nearly 45 mins.

Pity we booked/paid for 4 nights in advance here.
The hardstanding pitch we were allocated was in poor condition, and hardly big enough to pitch van and awning without us being about 2 feet off the roadway, but when we asked to move we were told we couldn't as all the empty ones were allocated. We didn't want to pitch on the grass as it looked decidedly boggy, and there were large tyre mud furrows on the field.
£10 deposit gets you a key to the toilet block, free showers/hot water, however, never any soap in the dispenser.
Chemical disposal points were absolutely filthy.
You can hear the noise from the club and the 'thumpa thumpa' rhythm of the music.
Saturday evening at about 10pm a load of teenagers (female and male) invaded the gents toilet block for about an hour. The noises included screaming/shouting and banging as they slammed and kicked the door. An empty glass alcohol bottle was pitched out of the window, and smashed. As we were pitched right opposite you can imagine how thrilled we were.
I did complain the next morning, but was told I should have phoned Security. Apparently, the number is on your booking confirmation under 'Night Warden'.
So, definitely won't be using this site or this company again, and would not recommend it to anyone else.
