We recently booked this site for a two day break and end up staying another three. On arrival we were greeted at reception by friendly and helpful staff. The campsite was quiet and well maintained, toilets and washrooms were kept clean throughout out stay.
Good access to the beach and within walking distance of both Herne Bay and Whitstable.
However, I would not recommend eating at the cafe on site, service was very very slow even though there were only 5 customers including ourselves. The waitress managed to get all the orders wrong.
This being our first time at Seaview Holiday Park I would definitely go again and despite the cafe experience would recommend it.

We visited site for the first time there were 24 of us and I must say we were very welcomed. Had a great time all facilities were 1st class we will definitely be returning in the very near future. Had six pitches which were quite large also great for kids. Beach handy as we had a jet ski with us. Very impressed with the washroom and bar set up

Just returned back after a 3 night break (bank holiday weekend). The toilets and showers were spotless even when the site was very busy. The loos also had their own basins in the cubicle so loads of room. The gardens were well looked after and there was a nice grassed area with a picnic area. Site seemed fairly quiet apart from a couple of people pitched opposite us who seemed to enjoy sitting outside their van revving their motorbikes for about 20 minutes. They also have a big field where they were holding a rally so it was very busy over the bank holiday. The cafe looked a bit outdated from the outside so we decided to eat at the The Plough Inn, just a short walk from the site. The food is recommended. There is a small amusement arcade and a club with live music although we found the drinks quite expensive. It's only a short stoll to the beach which was pebble. Staff were also friendly and helpful. There were two play areas for the children which my kids enjoyed. Would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

We stayed at Sea view for 2 nights at the end of march. The field is large and open which does mean the wind does rather blow hard from the sea. High winds meant the temprature of 7degs c felt like 4 and we had a spell of hail that was amplified by the strong winds. The hard standing pitches are spacious enough for your van, awning and a car. Most of the hard standing were full. There are also a lot of static and challets here. The touring feild is large and looked faily level if a bit muddy. What I was impressed with was the fact that despite our visit being very early in the season the facilities were all open apart from the cafe. The bar was fully staffed and had entertainment on Saturday night (maddonna tribute followed by karioke) the shop, reception and amusments were also open. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a 2nd hall in the club with a larger stage that I assume is open in high season. On the downside £10 deposit for a toilet /shower block key is a bit of a pain. At one point my Daughter needed to use it when my Wife was already in the shower so she couldn't get in and if I had needed it I would also had been snookerd. Addditionally as the park is so large I would think that the club house and the shower blocks would struggle at peak times! It would be nice to visit Seaview in the summer for a weekend when the weather is better as it is right on top of the sea front and in a good location for other seaside towns and Howletts Zoo. All in all good effort by "Park Holidays" and we shall be loking at another one of their sites later in the year. GF

What makes this site so special is not the camping area, which is fairly nondescript but the little brightly coloured chalets which are a permanent feature of the place; these are like large beach huts where the owners can live & sleep in for much of the year & are quite unique! Some of the owners invited us to see inside & they are fab! We'd like to buy one if one came on the market! Every evening we'd stroll down to the sea wall to join these chalet owners, with a drink (of course!) & watch the sunset - paradise!

We stayed here for two nights. It was a busy weekend but there was plenty of room for us to set up three tents all together. We were a bit of a trek from the toilet and shower block, but this all adds to the fun of camping. Although the key to allow entry was a bit of a pain as you had to wait for each other to use it and hand it over, only one key per tent. The shower block did always seem to be flooded but they had cubicles with a toilet and sink in, good for a bit of private space to get washed. We did not use the night entertainment although the amusements, kids playground and bar looked good. Two sets of other campers had a disagreement in the early hours but this seemed to be sorted quickly by site security. Which was good. The beach is close by although you cannot swim due to jet skis etc. Good site for a weekend break on the coast.

We were very disappointed. The field was smelly and some areas still had the remnants of previous occupiers. We had our dog with us but the dog could only stay on the camping field, however in the short space of time we were there, we say a number of dog owners who ignored the no dog signs. Give the site staff their due, we explained the problems, said it was not for us and they kindly refunded our money.

We have just returned after spending a couple of nights at Sea View. The site gives a good first impression with good clear directions and helpful reception staff. The site offers a good number of touring pithes both hard standing and grass and or electric hook up. The pitches are numbered and marked out on the grass, but gives plenty of room for a caravan awning and car. However they are a bit close to the next pitch front and rear.
The toilet and shower block were cleaned daily, but a little cramped for room in the showers and perhaps showing there age in one or two areas. A camp site shop offers the basics and a bar with kids amuesments on site is very handy. The bar does have entertainment, on this occassion there was a disco. We, however, found the bar to be very "smokey" so didnt stay. The shingle beech is on your doorstep and local shops and supermarket are within walking distance.
A nice site ,reasonable in price, one we would consider again.

August 2003 Lovely pleasant looking park but the downside to the touring feild is that you are crammed in like sardines in rows and rows. The beach is really close and there is a great bar and family room to enjoy yourself in. There are amusements for the kids which are great and the staff are great too, they work really hard and seem to be trained to do everything. Butlins this isn't but the staff try really hard. Great place, great people - it's easy to see why people return time and time again.

We visited this site after it was reccommended by a local. It is next to the beach (shingle) and is within walking distance of both Whitstable and Herne Bay(athough this quite a decent distance)It has about sixty electric pitches both hardstanding and grass, and about the same in non- electric, all ptches were level and the grass was well looked after. It has one toilet block that has showers that are free with plenty of hot water.and was reasonably clean considering that the site was full.
The childrens play area and games room looked well equipped and was well used by the children There is a shop on site reasonably well stocked with food and camping spares. The on site resturant does breakfasts and evening meals to a good standard. There is also a bar with separate entertaiment for both families and children.
The site is central for all the local attractions, if you like fish try the Whitstable harbour fish market (famous for it oysters) and the fish resturant above
All in all we had a great time and would not hesitate to reccomend this site to anyone
