Have just visited this site with touring caravan for 8 nights, found the site easy enough straight off main road. On arrival go to reception there is no pull in for unit, staff pleasant enough even though very busy, given map and directions to pitch location. The pitch was the worst part of the holiday units squeezed together so tight no room for cars, once in could not got back out (dangerously so in my opinion)this also caused arguments and frayed tempers every time someone pulled on, also witnessed an accident when male couldn't get swing on van and hit the rear of other van causing damage. The facilities on site are very good for families pool indoor and outdoor, games room and clubs food outlets all very clean and tidy. The toilet blocks were a bit grubby but extremely busy the shower were bit of joke you got a blast of water then had to wait three mins for next blast, the pot wash was in the toilets (unhygienic) and the elsan point was open toilet on outside of the toilet block wall very strange. All in all facilities good touring pitches terrible paid forty six pounds per night not value for money unless you use all of site facilities will not return.

Sadly we didn't get pitch we booked. Water for showers was cold for four days but were reasonably clean. Weekend clearing of rubbish poor had plastic bag of rubbish blowing down the road past tents. Although greatly improved during the week
The Reedham food Mexican night food cold gave us upset stomachs. The fish and chip shop pies dry and hard.
Entertainment was good and clean and tidy. Good seating in the family bar.
Local to all public transport and supermarkets

We have just returned from two weeks at Vauxhall holiday park and like most sites there are good and bad points, sadly we found the bad points outnumbered the good points.
The bad points:
They squeeze caravans & tents in so tightly that when we walked around the sight we wondered how people got there car out. We had a super pitch that had a little more space but there are only a few super pitches on the site. Due to the way everyone is so squashed in there is nowhere for children to play football or other games so they end up playing in the road, I lost count of the amount of times a football hit out caravan.
There is a football pitch and small field for playing on but it is located outside of the main gate by the main road.
The showers were the worst I have ever seen! They were always filthy. At all the other sites we have stayed at in the showers there has been a mop & bucket with disinfectant in it so when your done you can give the shower floor a quick mop through so it's pleasant for the next person but not at this site, the floor was always dirty, the shower heads all leak so more water comes out the sides of the shower head then through it and if you are over 5. 6 foot tall you won't be able to stand under the shower as they are mounted on the wall so low.
There isn't any bike locking up facilities on site so if you take your own bike you are unable to lock it up by any of the attractions.
We were unable to find any recycling points around the site.
Now the good points:
When you arrive there is a member of staff waiting to meet you and show you your pitch on the map so you can get set up before going to check in. The swimming pool is nice and warm with a slide for the children to play on (the outside pool is not heated so it feels freezing in comparison to the indoor pool. )
The staff on the site are all very friendly.
There are lots of things to do on the site, crazy golf, swimming, kids clubs and arcades.
The sites location is good for all that Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas have to offer.
Sadly we would not hurry back to this site or recommend it to friends as it seems more about having a caravan or tent on every green piece of ground then free space. I understand that they are a business and green space means nothing on it earning money but if other sites can do it why can't this one.
To us this site with its 5 star reputation must have been graded with a 10 star scale.

Just returned from a five day Halloween break. Been many times but nothing has changed on the touring sites, pitches need upgrading to bring it inline to be called a five star site. The toilet block near the super pitches requires an overhaul especially the floor tiles, they were badly worn, a good steam clean would not go a miss. Come on vauxhall put some money into the touring sites. The other facilities on the park are brilliant, restaurant, club and the new coffee bar are spot on.

Vauxhall was a very good find. We were here when it was Elvis week. We stayed for 3 nights. Showers/toilets were of good standards although each time I had a shower it was cold. My husband didn't find this a problem he said his was ok. I should have told the very friendly staff at reception. Every thing you need on site. A little expensive but to be expected on a holiday park. Good location. Would return here.

What can I say well it is a fantastic site to stay on. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we got there. The facilities on site was of a good standard and the entertainment was very good. The only downside was the prices of the drinks in the club and the prices of the take aways on site which I felt was on the high side. We have been coming here for the last 3yrs with our 4 children and have already booked for next year! we were able to let our children wonder off on there own on site which was good and there are supermarkets within 5 mins of the site. A great site to stay on for old or young people.

Sucked in to coming here again by wife and kids. Rip off school hol prices put me off. Costing £42 a night for 7 weeks of the year less than half this for remainder. No wonder the government is fining parents for taking kids out of school. Easy money for them. When site was booked I explained the size of the van. Made it clear on at least 4 occasions that my unit was 22 foot as I've been before and seen some of the pitches. When we arrived the tow bar was in the middle of the road, good start. Soon rectified though and got a pitch big enough for 2 vans. Be aware there is a big problem here with ants when I say big I mean BIG problem. Last time we came the toilets were a disgrace, got to say there was a big improvement this time. Showers were always hot and never had to queue. Drinks and food were on the expensive side. Easy walk to the sea front a mile away. Will I come again. NO not when kids are on holiday. This is not a £42 a night site.

Lots of good things about this site with just a couple of things to be aware of:
The good stuff: Clean, modern site with lots of very good facilities. Swimming pools was lovely with lots of things to do for the kids. I liked the fact that there were 2 entertainment rooms so you did have a bit of choice. Both rooms were nice and the entertainment was pretty much as you would expect. You are about 1 mile from the beach front and have Asda, Sainsbury's and Aldi's all on the way. There was a small gym and a reasonably priced spa on site.
Stuff to be aware of: Yes the food and drink was a little on the expensive side but that's fairly normal for these kind of sites. I think the standard touring area left a little to be desired. Pitches were cramped together and stuck on a bit of ground next to the swimming area so wasn't the most beautifully aesthetic place I've been to and manoeuvring your vehicle could be tricky if its very busy. The super pitches did look a lot more attractive so it might be worth paying the extra couple of pounds. Apparently the ladies showers were a little on the luke warm side although I found the mens to be perfectly ok.
On saying all that it was very good value for money. We paid £98 for 5 nights in mid July - Bargain!

Stayed hear and loved it, good old fashion entertainment and kids loved the play ground. Good food and friendly staff, great time had by all. Toilets and showers were kept clean, and site was well managed. Kids loved the out door play pool. The site is very easy to get to and near other attractions locally.

I am a regular visitor to this holiday park at least once a year out of school holidays. Although it is quite a large site all the touring areas are within easy distance to the main complex. There are 2 entertainment rooms one being adult only. The site has a a nice swimming pool that caters for all ages, games room, children's adventure area, restaurant, and much more. I have always found the site to be clean & tidy and well maintained. The town centre is easily reached by walking down by the riverside 15/20 minutes. The major supermarkets are nearby
