We stayed here last minute over Easter last year, rained whole time and non-freezing, but staff very good and we had extra duvets as caravan was freezing due to it being start of season.
The on site facilities were good but shabby, whole place looked really dated and needs to be modernised. Pool was ok, evening entertainment great, kids LOVED it. We found this site a bit too big for us, very busy. Toilets in clubhouse were gross, wouldn't let my daughter even sit on toilet seat. Attracts too many dodgy types, stag weekends etc. Ok for teenagers and young people though, prob a good laugh, not for a family though

Had a great time here for a family holiday.
The pitches were a good size with the hard standing just the right size for the van(although the ones behind the entertainment block did appear to be rather close together).
The Entertainment is good - with one hall for families and one for Adults - the staff on site were great.
The toilets were all very clean.
As said in other reviews - it is within walking distance of Gt Yarmouth and there is a pleasant short walk along the canal to the swan.
As usual food outlets a bit more expensive than usual - but the curry club deal on Tuesday was good value.
Great for the kids - including the pool and kids club
Would visit again

On arrival reception was a bit brisk and, although we have visited the site several times over the years and knew roughly where our pitch was, a map would have been useful as we could not work out the pitches and there is trouble turning due to the tight posts and tight turns to exit the pitch lanes.
The site is for families, the swimming pool, bars and club are as good if not better than Haven. The games room is excellent with four full size snooker tables, loads of pool tables, darts boards and sport on the TV in the bar area.
My children are now 9 and 12 so the early evening kids entertainment was not for them. The evening entertainment was OK, if a little cheap. The entertainment team did most of the work with some reasonable shows, although they lacked a male performer. Their day time offering was very weak, the last time we visited they had wrestling and roller skating as afternoon events, they only had a Wii competition for various age groups and some auditions for a talent show in the evening.
The site was reasonably clean and was well maintained. The toilets were OK with no real issues with the site full.
I would recommend this site for families, however book early and look at the site map to ensure a good pitch as some of the pitches are very open and on top of the amenities.

This site is excellent, in a very good position for Yarmouth and the broads area, Asda store just across the road for all our needs.
We found the pitches around the entertainment area was too small, too close together and not level, the caravan stand was lower than the awning area, these pitches need a little T.L.C.
Shower block first class, entertainment very good indeed, all the staff very very helpful.
You can go through the back gate and walk to Great Yarmouth front in 20 mins or so.
We did find the club for bingo and entertainment was not big enough for the amount of people that wanted to use it, lots having to stand up.
Restaurant food very very good, the down side is food from the other outlets is poor, chips etc. Under cooked or cold.
All in all we will be back

Big site, easy to find. Staff helpful and polite. Club, shops and take-aways very good but a little pricey. Kids entertainment / play areas very good. Site very clean and well kept. The only things that spoil it are- The hard-standings are small and the toilet / shower-blocks need cleaning and checking more often. Yarmouth is only ten minutes walk and is very clean / tidy with a good market and a good range of shops and bars

Had a three night stay in may as my daughter/son in law and two grandkids (2 and 6) were staying in a site static for a week. Well what can you say? The kids loved it, so did my daughter, so much so they are repeating next year. On the touring side difficult to fault. Some reviews say that pitches are a bit small but this is less of a problem in a motorhome lacking an awning. Facilities are of a very high standard, We used them sometimes even though we have our own. There is plenty to do and the site is in a prime position. One of the better sites and one that I could recommend to anyone

We stayed at the Vauxhall last week of July, we had travelled a long way to get there from north Wales, when we arrived at reception we were two hours early but they let us have the pitch which was great. Pitch itself was roomy and well placed, campsite has everything you want, entertainment in both clubs was very good, one being adult only.
Bit of noise from the road but you have to expect that when visiting a site that is very close to the centre, we had a great day at Yarmouth races it's a must.
If looking for supermarkets there is a very big asda just over the bridge , and tesco not to far from there.
If looking for a good meal visit the 'pub on the prom ' lovely food and well priced.
Kids loved the pool and the site was very child friendly, will be going back when I can face the drive again.

We have stayed on this park for several weekends now. We like their music adult weekenders.
The staff are always helpful. The showers are excellent hot and very clean. The site shop is small but their is a large Asda nearby.
You can easly walk to Great Yarmouth using the back entrance to the site.
The touring pitches are generous and the super pitches are excellent.
The carvery on a Sunday is nice but do get there early so you get full choice.
They have a lovely sea food shop on site that is a must if you go. The only down side is the food outlets, chips are always under cooked, kebeb meat over cooked but to be fair they are being run by kids who really look like they would rather be somewere else.
All in all a excellent site highly recomended.

Just spent a long weekend on the back half of half term week at this site. We stayed on the touring park and given that it was nearly full we did fill packed in like sardines. If you like your own space book the super pitch. The site itself was neat and tidy and well maintained. The shower cubicles are well sized, clean and seperate from the toilets. On arrival we were given a welcome pack which contained a warning about buying takeaway food off of the site. We followed that advice and stayed on site and apart from the fish and chip shop all the other take away outlets food was bland and tasteless.
The on site restaruant was clean and welcoming and the food cooked to perfection, worth a visit.
Kids loved the pool but I think the lifeguards could do with a course in smiling.
All in all a pleasurable experience and we will return.

We have been to this site for about 5 years we normally go end of july for 2 weeks, the place is very clean and tidy the town is within walking distance, some of the pitches are a little bit small, but some are a little bigger, the shower blocks are cleaned quite regular. The entertainment is ok.
The prices have gone up a lot over the 5 years but they have invested a lot of money back in to the site, the price you pay is for the caravan and awning not per person, which can be good for some but not all, would recommend it to anyone.
You seem to see the same people if you go back every year,we have met some good friends there.
Some nice pubs to visit in the town.
