Have just spent a week here - really enjoyed ourselves the entertainment for adults is fab - not sure about other venue as no kids with us. Good selection of food outlets and cheerful staff throughout. Well worth a visit, just don't let larger tourers encroach onto your pitch!

A nice clean site with plenty to do for the kids. Plenty of take-aways. The showers were cleaned regular. The gates closed at 6.30pm, so you need to make sure you have your passes with you. Pitches were a good size. Swimming pools were great. There is a shop on site, but Asda is only a couple of mins down the road (car).

The only gripe we had was that we were somewhat disappointed by security by seeing a complaint through. When complained as drunks were still partying loudly at 3am they only walked by and did nothing.

All in all a good site. Fantastic if you get the right neighbours!

We have just had our first camping trip here with our three small children aged 4,4 and 3, and were dreading the whole experience so only booked for 1 week. Well what can I say, weather not great, wet putting tent up wet putting tent down.however this did not dampen our holiday, we have had the best time ever and completely stress free.
Facilites good, communal showers/toilet block cleaned on a regular basis lots for the children to do, evening entertainment a little to be desired but genarally ok, made some great friends adult and child alike, in fact we are returning next year for 2 weeks as the time went so quickly and we did not want to come home, I would recommend this site to anyone, easy to get to, asda opposite for convenience, A47 a little noisy but you get used to it, we had a great holiday!

Having just spent the weekend at the park with my partner and two children. We found the site to be very clean and tidy.
The toilets were clean and the showers were hot! The staff were friendly and the prices of food and drink were very reasonable.
The entertainment was first class on both nights.
The touring/camping site was packed and everyone was very friendly you were not all crammed in as they are very generous with their pitches, and they were all lined out. The people I did speak to had been coming to the site for years which is always a good sign!
The site had security staff not that they were needed as everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the site did not seem to be rowdy.

We have been going for about 5 years very nice site, pitches are quite small compared to other sites, toilets cleaned about 4 times a day.Entertainment not as good as it use to be,spending a lot of money on the sites, prices have gone up a lot over the last couple of years.
Swimming pool really good plenty of life guards around, quite near to town centre.
2007 will be our last holiday but still would recommend the site to other people, plenty to do on site.

Stopped here for a weekend for the first time in about 30 years. Came with my family. In general very good site. Wish I could of stayed longer. Generally a very expensive site. Good swimming complex. Great adventure playground for the children. The worst part was the positioning of our tent. We have a 4 year old and we was stuck right next to the busy acle road. For most of the day the gate would be left open for cars to leave. This was about 10 yards from our tent. Recommend the kebab place. Difficult eating this in a basic tent without table. The kebab was big. Worth it. Even though this was before the smoking ban the club was non smoking (except for a small standing area) which was good for people who wanted to breathe. Will come again if I can find a time when the prices are not extremely high.

A little worried as the park was big, but it was an excellent site. A little pricey I thought, but it was school holidays!

Very flat and pitches were well marked, a little close to your neighbour, but everyone was friendly and the facilities were great.

Swimming pool was lovely, a large pooled sectioned off into five. Lovely outdoor pool. Indoors pool very warm.

Entertainment on par with butlins. Good. Take away food outlets were superb and reasonably priced. Restaurant Redcutters, excellent food and good value.

Great Yarmouth one of our favourite areas and the site didn't let it down.

The staff were absolutely excellent and their manners were excellent. A credit to the site, I hope they get rewarded for the long hours and loyalty to the company.

All in all, apart from the weather, it was a lovely 10 days and would go again.

Just been to the site for a week at spring bank, we have been going now for the last 7 years. Excellent touring facilities for tent or caravan , all electric pitches and super pitches for caravans. Showers and toilets cleaned at least four times a day . Security barrier onto site after 6-30pm at night, must show pass to get in. Security around all site at a high level but not in your face.

Brilliant swimming pool , three bars, sports bar open all day, family entertainment bar opens at 7pm and an over 18's bar which opens at 7pm. Numerous food outlets, restaurant, shop, betting shop, amusement arcade, hire shop, and a kiddies club, large all weather sports pitch, launderette and fitness suite. Large adventure playground and crazy golf. Great entertainment at night for the family and adults. Site is a ten minute walk into great Yarmouth town centre and about 25 mins walk to beach.

Plenty of attractions in the surrounding area and all leaflets on display in reception.

Cannot fault going back for two weeks in august and already booked for 2008

We have gone to this site for the last 12 years. We have always enjoyed our time on the site. Now our children have grown and are at the stage when they no longer want to come as they have "out grown" the site, 2007 will be our last to the site. I understand previous comments about the toilets and the rather small pitch sizes.

There have been a lot of changes over the years. The main change I have seen is the decline in the quality of entertainment. The swimming Pool is excellent and the lifeguards are plenty and good.

The site is good if you have either young children or teenagers. I have to say though that the standards have declined slightly but the prices have risen. It is still worth considering for a holiday.

Here is my "the good the bad and the ugly" on Vauxhall holiday park. 1st of all we arrived on the wettest bank holiday Monday of all time and some of the pitches were flooded, so be warned.
THE GOOD
There are plenty of facility's at Vauxhall, including a bingo hall, several cashpoint machines and 2 clubs, one for adults and one for family's. The fun pool is great, but don't expect to do any serious swimming in it. There are plenty of food outlets for take aways and a good restaurant, albeit with a limited menu. The games room is good, containing a bar and 4 full size snooker tables and about 20 pool tables. Plenty for the kids to do during the day including a tree house, cycle hire mini go carts and a large amusement arcade. The on site shop is good, although there is a 24 hour ASDA just down the road from the camp too. Behind the camp there is a caravan spares shop (just right for people who break their jockey wheel on arrival) Staff were friendly and patrol the site regularly in clearly marked vans.
THE BAD
The pitches are far to small, when they say a car, a caravan and an awning they are talking literally. Some pitches were just big enough for a large tent, meaning the car had to be parked in the road. Other areas of the site had caravans double stacked making it difficult for people to get their cars out! The toilet/ shower block were not well cleaned! The fast food outlets should be renamed slow food outlets, in 1 evening my daughter waited 5 minutes for saveloy and chips I waited 10 minutes for chicken and chips and my wife waited 15 minutes for a kebab. All of which was at dinnertime? The reception is not 24 hour.
THE UGLY
while Vauxhall cannot be held directly responsible for the next bit and please bear in mind that I do have 3 children of my own, so I am not just moaning without knowing what I am talking about. The behavior of some children on the site was pretty awful! The cabaret in the family bar started at 22:00 and yet children were still running around the stage and dance floor while the performer was trying to do his act. This should have been dealt with by the parents and the entertainment staff. Additionally a large group of teenage girls trashed the toilets by throwing soaked toilet paper all over the toilets and a nearby car at around 3 am. This was not properly cleaned up the following day! There were plenty of chaps wandering around with "security" on their shirts but they must have gone to sleep when the lights went out.
Niggles apart Vauxhall is a good site with plenty to do in the surrounding area (try to hire a pleasure cruiser for 3 hours on the broads) as well as on site. We would defiantly go back and hope that next time the weather is better.
