This is such a lovely site. Nestled away, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Not far from the local towns and coast.
Facilities were clean and pitches where spread out to give you some space to relax in.
Would highly recommend this site if your looking for a quiet get away.
Thanks for having us

We have never been woodland camping before but would recommend you give it a try.
The site feels remote and is extremely peaceful surrounded by beautiful large trees.
The site facilities are extremely clean and well cared for.
The bird life is wonderful to watch.
Stan is helpful and always on hand should you need anything.
We had a lovely time.

Beautifully laid out campsite amongst the trees – you will end up with lots of pine needles treading inside unfortunately. Just bear in mind if you have a solar panel on your campervan it won’t get much sunlight – maybe ask for a pitch near the field instead.
Pitches are well spaced out and we were given a choice of which one to pitch on.
Facilities consists of what looks like old shipping containers converted into individual shower and toilets – always clean and we didn’t queue to use them even though there are only a few.
Great to come here in school hols as no kids allowed. We did notice the road noise from the dual carriageway but that’s probably as we live in a quiet little village.
Depends a bit which pitch you are on too. The Royal Oak is in walking distance and we had a great meal here – best fish and chips I’ve had for years. Just don’t go via the footpath that looks shorter on the map – you will end up in a very muddy field of cows and also have to cross the dual carriageway! Easier to walk along the road.
Its a short drive into Grange over Sands too.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, if your looking for the forest experience or if packed campsites not your thing this is definitely for you,
I loved how each pitch is on its own all with different views and enough space to still feel your the only camper, added bonus that you can have hook up to and a fire pit on every pitch,
Owners are lovely people nothing is too much trouble to these hard working couple,
Shower block and toilets are spotless
I totally love this place to chill and unwind gets 10/10 from me 😊

Really enjoyed our stay at Noble Wood. The site owners are extremely helpful and always on hand if you require any help. The site itself has a really peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
All pitches seem to be quite secluded and are not directly overlooked by others. In the evening the smell of woodfires and barbecues fill the air in a pleasing way.
The pitches all have there own steel bin for rubbish, which are emptied daily. Water taps are only a short distance away on the pitches, with numerous available on-site.
The shower blocks are cleaned and inspected daily with adequate facilities for a site of this size. Access roads around the site are quite narrow in some places for caravan access, if driven slowly you should not have a problem.
We really enjoyed our stay at Noble wood camping and will be back in the near future.
I personally cannot find anything I disliked about the site.
Thank you again to Stan and Lynne the owners of Noble Wood Camping.

This was our maiden voyage as newbie caravanners and as such had no idea what to expect.
Our first impression was that this is a very rustic secluded site and the road in and around the site was undulating which may be off-putting for inexperienced towers.
We had a lovely large pitch (8) at the far side of the site.
Toilets and showers very clean and a dedicated bin for every pitch emptied daily.
Stan was very helpful with various problems that arose due to our inexperience.
We loved Noble Wood, the space and seclusion was so calming and it was lovely listening to birdsong whilst spotting squirrels scampering through the trees.
There were no pubs really close but we did go to the Royal Oak for tea one night. Food okay, beer good.
A big thank you to fellow camper Paul who helped us to put up our brand new awning. He gave us invaluable advice and loaned claw hammer and hard ground pegs. Thank you 😊

Stayed here for 3 nights with a 10 month old puppy. We all loved it!
Pitches are so spacious, feels like you're miles away from everyone.
Beautiful setting amongst the trees, very peaceful!
Our puppy had great fun running off lead in the exercise field.
Toilets and showers very clean! No complaints about anything,
Would definitely return! 10/10

One of our favourite campsites. Perfect if you want to get away from it all. Our 2nd stay - 1st stay was on the sister site in the woods which unfortunately is closed for repair due to storm damage.
Our pitch was on a purpose built wood chipping base tucked into the trees and we couldn't see another pitch - perfect as a first trip for our young dog.
Our more recent stay was on the main site and once again we were unable to see any other pitches from ours. Glorious view.
Each pitch has its own portaloo which is genius and something other campsites should consider. Showers and main toilets are clean and met our needs. Great pub a short drive or a long walk away.
The owners are lovely; not invasive but mades sure we had everything that we needed. The firepit was great.
Thankyou for providing suach a great campsite.

Noble Wood is a unique campsite; it's rustic, simple, and it offers a little slice of paradise in the woods. The loos and showers are cleaned throughout the day and great care is taken to offer top-notch service.
Each pitch offers space and some privacy. We were very happy on in Pitch 10, there were three other sites nearby, but our pitch felt secluded. We overlooked a pond and were a very short walk to the facilities.
We had a campfire most nights. Stan, the owner, provided the wood for an excellent price. We could see other campfires dotted throughout the site, but we felt like we were in our own little world.
Although there is only one station where we could wash up our dishes, we seldom waited more than a few minutes to use the facility. The same was true for the individual shower and toilet combination units.
Stan went above and beyond to make sure that his guests feel safe, looked after, and that any of your potential needs were met. We will be returning to this wonderful campsite soon.
