Brilliant. Just what we were after. Lovely site with lovely hosts, and great facilities.
The spot we picked was perfect, with amenities close by, but nice and secluded from other tents.

Fantastic find. Narrow approach, was glad we didn’t meet anything coming the other way! Opens up into a magical secluded peaceful campsite.
Toilet block was clean and tidy. Great idea to place portaloos around the site as well, eased usage on the main block. Was provided with 8 litres of bottled water as no running water available with the option to replenish each day.
Owners both really friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be returning.

We had a great time camping at Noble Wood campsite, it was remote, but still within easy reach of pubs, shops and the lakes.
The site itself had what you needed, running water, showers, toilets and electricity points for each tent.
We loved the surroundings, they had 10 pitches all in different areas of the site with amazing views into the woodland.
The owners were very nice and friendly, were always on hand if needed anything. This was a perfect stay for a quiet weekend.

What a little gem, the campsite is fabulous so beautiful feels a little bit like camping in Canada minus the grizzly bears
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Pitches are spaced out and the views are beautiful we wouldn’t normally stay at the same place twice but we are definitely booking again soon.

This is a perfect site, if you want to get away from your busy life. Its very quiet, peaceful and tranquil in a lovely forrest setting.
The owner Lynda is very helpful and always on hand if needed and makes the site a lovely homely feeling and friendly too. Well kept and excellent recycling scheme.
Toilet block and showers are modern, clean and well stocked.
We definitely recommend a visit, we will certainly be back again.

What a cracking campsite. Stayed 7 nights with 2 young kids. Our pitch was up in the trees. Huge pitch with leccy hook up and the cable was provided with 4 sockets.
Lovely and private campsite. Our boys loved playing in the woods and wandering round. Stan and Lynn are lovely owners and cant do enough for you.
The showers are the best I have seen on a campsite. Perfect location to explore the lakes.
We are already planning our next trip there.

We stopped on the low nabs wood side. Stan and Lynne are extremely welcoming and even gave everyone 4 bottles of mineral water on arrival- a nice touch.
Getting to the pitches along the path/trail is not easy in a motorhome. Very steep and slippy in places. T5’s etc won’t have a problem though.
The pitches are slate covered and not particularly flat so take the levelling blocks with you. Once sited you are literally in the middle of a large wood. Very picturesque and interesting.
Only downside is you can hear the road noise from the A590 which is very close. Electric hookup, water and Elsan disposal etc are all fine. The toilet block is what my wife described as “rustic” but it did the job.
The site is about .75 mile into Lindale where there is a post office/shop and a pub. Alternatively it’s roughly 3 miles to Grange over Sands.
If your looking for luxury this sites not for you but at £21 per night it’s very good value for money.

We stayed at this campsite at the weekend, it was beautiful. The owners were kind and helpful, they went out their way to help everyone.
The toilets and showers were kept clean throughout the day.
We had quite a large motorhome which we had hired for the week, and although we were a bit nervous, about driving into the wood, it was absolutely fine, the pitch was great,
We would definitely go again.
