Hubby was quite worried about this one as we only normally go on small sites but he soon changed his mind. Narrow lane to access the site but no problems with it. The site itself is fabulous, very well maintained with excellent washroom facilities that would not have been out of place in a 4/5 star hotel. Reception was welcoming and the shop well stocked, the other facilities were also impressive. We were on a pitch overlooking the sea with other tourers and statics nearby but with planting and hedges nothing was intrusive. We manage a caravan park double the size elsewhere and this has to rank in the top ten of all the parks we have been on. We will be back for definite.

This was one of several campsites we visited on a trip along the Pembrokeshire Coast.
It was an immaculate site with short cut collected grass pitches and hard standing. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate; the cleanest we have encountered in the UK. The service from the staff and owners was outstanding. This is how a site should be run and many other campsite owners could learn a thing or two by visiting this site.
The area is perfect for walking to both Fishguard and Newport along the magnificent coastal pathway. The site is a real credit to the owners.

Outstanding views, worth the narrow but not impossible road in. Good, clean, well maintained facilities.
Very helpful over the phone booking and on-site instructions. Off the beaten track was the attraction, could see Fishguard down the coast from the site. Quiet, before schools had broken up. One night stop over.

Second visit to this wonderful, peaceful site, we were allocated the same pitch as last time, with views over the sea and Fishguard.
The site is on the coastal path, with wonderful cliff walks either side of the site. On site shop is well stocked with fresh produce on sale. The shower and toilets have been refurbished, however with the dreaded push bottom shower control, lasting only seconds.
The site owners and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you.

Well what can I say, a fabulous site! Was greeted with a warm welcome, given my instructions to get to our pitch, which was next to the hard standing pitch, awesome views, we had just started to check the lay of the land and put the groundsheet down when the lady from the shop/reception came over to check we had seen the pitching instructions on the back of the sheet, so we where right from the start, and to let us know we needed to pre order our fish and chips if we wanted them from the mobile chip van.
The site is wonderfully clean and nicely laid out, with the use of borders between pitches to add to the feeling of tranquility.
The amenities are fantastic, the bathroom is clean with plenty of showers and toilet cubicles, washing up sinks have plenty of hot water, there is also 2 microwaves and freezers for your ice packs all available free of charge. The laundry room also has an iron and ironing board available free of charge.
Other people on the site where very good at night and the whole site was very quiet by 11pm.
Although other people have mentioned the narrow road leading to the site, yes it is but we never meet another vehicle and there are passing points, so was never a problem to us.
We did order fish and chips from the Puffin Pantry which is run by a lovely couple that gave us some local knowledge for where to park in Fishguard etc, the food was very nice too, and very welcome after a long drive.
This site is in the perfect spot for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast, with St David's and Haverfordwest West not far away, there is also a wonderful coastal walk around Fishguard itself and an Iron Age fort that makes an interesting site to have a look at.
I would definitely stay here again, and looking forward to it.

Just spent 10 days here & what a great site.
I was a bit worried about the access road after reading the reviews on here but we had no problems with out 7. 5 meter van.
Once on the site we drove to reception & were greeted with a smile & a personalised direction to our pitch. Our pitch had good views of both Goodwick & Dinas Head. The park was nicely laid out with well kept borders breaking up the field. The reception complex held the toilet block, shop, games room, TV snug, train set & info room with a small play park outside. The shop was well stocked with both with groceries & camping kit. There was a plethora of local info a pool table a lovely little TV snug room & a train set which the kids loved. The toilet block was lovely & kept immaculately clean & warm.
The walk to Dinas head along the coast path was lovely & our 2 girls 8 & 9 managed it easily. There is loads to do in this area if you choose this site you will not be disappointed.

Stopped here for one night before catching the ferry the next day and found an impressive location, right on the cliff edge overlooking Fishguard and Goodwick harbour. Approach road very narrow and twisting though and would not want to meet other traffic on it as I don't remember seeing passing places.
Site is well laid out with beautiful flower beds between pitches. Our pitch was allocated to us on arrival as the site was fully booked but didn't feel cramped at all. Slide and swings for children overlooking the bay were great fun for our 3 children and they also loved the model railway inside. There was also a TV room and games room and the toilets and showers were numerous and immaculately clean. Also laundry room and washing up facilities very clean.
We found the site quite expensive and more than we are used to at £29 for a family of five, but the facilities are great and the site is very well managed so we could see why it cost that.
The bonus was a mobile fish and chip van on site for the night we stayed (Wed and sat Eve's in the summer months) which saved cooking for our one night camping. Great campsite if you will make use of the facilities, particularly for longer stays, but if like us you are used to simpler campsites or just need a quick stopover then may be not worth paying more for this one.

I could probably sum this site up in one word - WOW!
I have long wanted to visit this particular area and stumbled across Fishguard bay whilst searching for hours on the web looking for a suitable place to spend our holiday and it immediately appealed.
Yes, there is a narrow winding road to the site but to me, that just adds to the appeal, there were a few passing places (that we only needed to use once during our week long stay anyway) and the whole site has a lovely sense of seclusion. There is everything you need here and the facilities are top notch and spotlessly clean. Pitches are well spaced and you hardly notice the static vans that make up quite a large portion of the space but they are cleverly arranged and in no way a blot on the landscape.
The real jewel in the crown is the views, our pitch literally faced out onto the bay and the Irish Sea and was absolutely stunning and somehow never got boring!
Staff were very friendly and helpful in all aspects and gave great advice both over the phone and on arrival.
This site really does have a lovely laid-back attitude and I felt totally at ease (so much so that I didn't want to leave) its a great location to explore Pembrokeshire itself and we managed to squeeze in most of the coast from st David's to cardigan, it really is a beautiful county.
I think that everything else has already been said but personally I felt that one of the best things about the site is that it never felt busy. Everyone was friendly and we got chatting to some lovely people who shared the sentiment.
I would highly recommend this site and can't really find anything to flag up as a negative. Possibly a bit more pressure in the showers. There! I found one.
The owners clearly care a lot about the site and staff were constantly making the site spick and span which only added to the charm. Keep up the good work guys, we'll be coming again :)

We have been caravanning for 10 years and this is definitely the best site we have visited (and we have stayed at some lovely sites).
The pitches were well spaced out with flowerbeds and plenty of room for games etc.
The views were spectacular with the coast path coming right through the site. We are walking the Pembrokeshire coast and the shuttle bus service made getting to starting points easy. True the lane is narrow but we encountered no problems and it was worth it.
The owners were friendly and helpful and there was a pleasing lack of 'bossy notices' everywhere. Obviously they felt able to trust their visitors to behave with courtesy towards others and keep to the simple rules.
The loo blocks were just great, plenty of facilities, modern, clean and as good as a hotel.
This is the first time I have left a review but we felt it was well deserved. Sadly we will not be returning as we need to move on further around the coast. We booked for 4 nights and stayed for 8

Great site with fantastic views over the haven
We have a 7.2m touring caravan and getting to the site off the main road was scary, so if you have a large caravan or motor home then take caution. The road is single track and has stone walls and quite bendy so very hard to manoeuvre to get to the site and if you met anything coming the other way not sure what you would do luckily we did not!
The site is clean tidy toilet blocks very good clean and tidy and staff couldn't help enough.
We had a pitch up high with. Gorgeous view of the haven and in march we had lovely weather by coincidence.
Lots of places to visit Newport Pembs, Fishguard, Solva for the beach and coastal walks along the Pembrokeshire coastal path.
Great food in Newport Pembs just up the road if you fancy a meal out
I would recommend this site but take care re the single track road off the main road.
